Located in Porto, this lovely condo for $149 per night is a great choice for your next trip. 2 Bedrooms Duplex Apartment, enterely renovated in a classified historical building, with very high standing, located in the heart of the historical city of Oporto, with unforgettable views on the Dom Luis Bridge, Douro River from one side, and Palacio da Bolsa, Sao Francisco Church and Infante Dom Henrique Square from the other side. This apartment is located on the last and 5th floor of a building with an elevator. This building is known as Baron Forrester has spent some time leaving there. Joseph James Forrester devoted a part of his life in a laborious survey of the River Douro, with a view of improvement of its navigation and a separte map of the port Wine districts, reprinted in England in 1852 by order of a select committee of the House of Commons. He was created Baron de Forrester for life in 1855 by the crown of Portugal, made knight commander of the orders of Christ and Isabella la Catolica, and received the cross of chevalier of various orders of his adopted country. This Duplex is a real unique diamond in the historical center, with 2 Suites with 2 balconies, one in front of the Infante Dom Henrique Square and the other in front of the Dom Luis Bridge. This apartment is completely equipped, you will spend fantastic and unforgettable vacations and you will be part of the History of Oporto. Come to visit Oporto and spend nice time in our apartment!

very cool modern apartment in a great location. was easy to walk to everything we wanted to visit. we stayed in dec and all heater, hot water worked great. very clean. the view from upstairs bedroom is amazing. Communication with Marc was very good too.

Fabulous appartement specially the upper bedroom which has a great view on the Douro.
It's quite and very convenient with plenty of restaurants close.
Kitchen very well equipped if you want to do your cooking !

The apartment was ideally located. Apartment was clean and had all amenities listed and looked just like pictures shown on profile.

This is a great location but was not our best stay. Way too many stairs and too much design over function. The table on the back deck hasn’t been cleaned in awhile so was unusable although the view from there would be lovely. Beds are comfy as is the couch. Building isn’t managed well so the elevator broke and they sent someone out to fix it but apparently not as then we got stuck in it for 45 minutes and they came again and still didn’t fix it. Big mix up with arrival so we stood on the street with our bags for 30 minutes. We will come back to Porto but wouldn’t stay there.

The apartment was very modern in a beautiful old building within walking distance to restaurants and shops. It is well equipped and very clean. The only thing to mention are the two sets of stairs before reaching the elevator making it difficult to carry luggage or for those who are mobility impaired. That said, the apartment was great and would highly recommend.

We walked all of the Porto center with no need for public transportation. Great views of both towards and away from the river. Had a nice stay.

Enjoyed the location immensely. It was close to everywhere that we wanted to see. The views from the apartment were great. Marc was easy to communicate with. Due to traffic we were a little later than our 4:30pm checking and no one was available until 6pm to let us in. Then unfortunately the elevator was broken and we had to climb 5 floors with our luggage. However it was repaired within a couple of days. Make sure to take a starter kit tea/coffee, sugar etc with you.

Perfect location and close to everything! Lovely apartment but linens and towels could use a refresh. MORE pillows!!!! One very small pillow per person was NOT enough. Left with a sore neck and back. BUT on saying that would definitely stay again! Thanks for a great week!

We totally enjoyed our stay here. Checkin was a breeze with Fernanda waiting for us when we arrived. Flat was as noted in the pictures. Close to lots of restaurants and bridge to the port houses on other side of river. Would stay here again for sure on our next return to Porto. This property was very nice with the most beautiful views. It was clean, comfortable and had A/C which was helpful in the heat. There was quite a bit of traffic noise from the square but if the windows are closed at night it is not as much an issue.
This truly is a nice, modern apartment with the absolute best views!

We had an amazing time visiting the city and staying in this apartment. The balconies offered terrific views to relax and enjoy the scenery and there were many restaurants and cafes close by with delicious food. The host checked us in and showed us the place and gave us great recommendations. I would stay here again for sure.

We felt right at home at this beautiful apartment, which was even more lovely than the photos. The location was excellent -- right on Infante D. Henrique Square overlooking the Bolsa Palace (Stock Exchange Palace). It was just a block or 2 away from the Ribeira, but not in the thick of the crowds. We would absolutely stay here again.

Property is in a perfect location. Within walking distance to everything. The apt was super clean, check in process was easy and the communication with Marc was perfect. He was very responsive. I recommend this apt. to anyone visiting Porto.

Loved the location of this apartment. Although on a busy street, it was very quiet to sleep. Very clean and the hosts were very responsive. However, a few concerns about the apartment. The lower level bedroom had a very hard uncomfortable bed, and the bathroom was dark and no place to put toiletries. Also, upper level had a terrace with a beautiful view, but was in poor condition (wood boards raised that were tripping hazard, and to no fault of the owner, the seagull poop all over made it impossible to be outside. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives

This apartment is beautiful and has amazing views of Porto. The location is ideal for walking to sites, restaurants, shopping and 1 block from the waterfront. This was a great apartment for our family of 5 adults and plenty of room for everyone.

Although we only had one night in this apartment (instead of 3 due to United Airlines canceling our flights), we enjoyed it very much! The location is perfect, with easy walking to the downtown, river, and across the bridge to Gaia for port tastings. I wish we had more time there, but we will be back! Thank you!

We absolutely loved the place...the location was great and the view was amazing. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were checked in/out. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Everything you need is close by: turn right and walk a block and you’ll find a Mercado (grocery store), just a few yards down the hill you’re at the water with restaurants and shops, and a laundromat is just a 10 minute walk.
Although it’s a 2 bedroom, the second room doesn’t have a door, so eventhough it’s upstairs, any noise from the living room/kitchen travels back and forth. However, we found it great for 2 people.
Things to be aware: stairs at top of bedroom aren’t well lit, so it’s a bit tricky coming down (take your time). The upstairs bed was comfortable, but the downstairs bed seemed a bit hard. Still, we had an extremely enjoyable 10 days. :-)
