About this farm stay rental
Tuscan farmhouse of the mid '800 completely renovated in period style, surrounded by greenery and silence of the hills between Pisa and Livorno. The cities of art such as Lucca and Florence are easily accessible as well as in about 20 minutes you can reach the beaches and cliffs of the splendid Etruscan Coast.
We have a large car park, we are well connected to the communication routes, the Pisa airport is located 20 km as well as the port of Livorno. We can agree to take guests to the airport or railway stations of Pisa and Livorno.
The farmhouse has 5 bedrooms for 12 people with 4 bathrooms on the first floor. On the ground floor there is the large classic Tuscan kitchen available to all guests and fully equipped also for groups with a service bathroom. Guests have an independent entrance for maximum privacy. It is possible to have the whole structure available by booking all 12 beds.
In the large park surrounding the house there is the swimming pool, open in summer, and secluded relaxation areas with hammocks, table tennis, barbecue and large shading trees.
Vintage sailing boat available, horse riding 5 minutes away.
We host groups for internships and seminars of personal evolution and holistic culture in an original Mongolian Yurt of 100 square meters with attached services that can be equipped for an adventurous glamping!
We produce bio wine, oil and vegetables from our garden!

The house is idyllic. A total paradise! Set in huge gardens where you can find shade and rest, the house and gardens offer two totally different possibilities: you can be on your own and have a private time (with your partner/family) as there is lots of space and the hosts respect your privacy, or.. you can meet other people staying and hopefully, like we did, make friends for life!
The hosts Giampaolo and Eleonora are wonderful people; kind, gentle and helpful. They helped make our stay there perfect.
Outside, apart from the grounds with trees and plants (and lizards!) where you can wander, there's also a nice little splash pool to cool down when the weather's hot, a barbecue and table tennis table. Plus hammocks for reclining in and enjoying your siesta!
Giampaolo and Eleonora have lots of fruit and veg growing in their extensive gardens (they have a vineyard and olive trees as well) which they were happy to offer us totally free. (Their green chilli was especially tasty!)
From the house you can easily reach Pisa (town and airport, about 20-25 mins away) or Livorno and the coast. We also would highly recommend visiting the walled medieval town of Lucca or the hilltop Etruscan town of Volterra. Parma, about 2 hours away is stunning!
For eating you can walk ten minutes away to the local pizzeria/restaurant. Or try the pizzeria in the hilltop nearby town Lorenzana, which has stunning views. We also made beautiful meals in the communal kitchen and ate them (accompanied by lots of wine!) on our own or with others at the large outside table.
