About this cabin rental
Situated in Manitou Springs, this charming cabin for $163 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This little cabin is on a property with 2 other cabins right on the river and a short walk from penny arcades, a zip line, shops, bars and restaurants in downtown Manitou Springs. The cabin itself has its own deck overlooking the river and is an extremely quiet, peaceful setting with 200 ft trees overhead. The entire cabin has been remodeled with a new kitchen all new electrical, flooring and new bathroom. This one bedroom one bath cabin offers all the amenities you would want or need and even has a sleeper couch, a brand new SMART TV and all new stainless steel appliances . Hang out on your own back deck and enjoy a nice coffee in the morning while taking in the sounds of the adjacent river or cook out on the bbq and enjoy a nice dinner on our picnic table. Too tired to cook, no problem! A few blocks walk and you are right in the middle of town with all sorts of food and beverage choices not to mention great shopping and a penny arcade. Time to join us in Manitou Springs and take advantage of staying right on the river!

We loved this property in one of our favorite vacation places - Manitou Springs is full of activities and many free hiking parks along with going to Pikes Peak - Garden of Gods and close to so many other places - family member was one of the original wrangler singers at flying W ranch and we went to eat and watch the show in the new building
The place was clean loved the stream in the backyard and outside chair to enjoy the peaceful view after a full day
Kitchen well equipped when we used it and the bed was comfortable
Free parking a plus here and most things were in distance of walking or free shuttle
The host and contact ere way to deal with - dog friendly in vacation home and most businesses allowing us to take our fur baby everywhere but the cog to pikes peak which is in her best interest
Plan to return - loved it here!

Long four day weekend vacation. The location on this place is awesome, especially if you plan to stay within Manitou Springs most of the time. Short walking distance to all the shops and eating places. The Cog train station and pikes peak trail head 1 mi walking distance or may take the free shuttle there. Bus pick up is only about 4 minute walk. Cabin itself is nice, better for two people than three but still okay. Backyard is nice with the spring running by there. All in all, I recommend it.

Lovely creekside cabin
Love the location! We sat outside in the backyard listening to the creek whenever we could. The place was stocked well...especially loved the ice maker full of ice when we arrived. The second bed was difficult to use because it blocked the bathroom door.

Did not rest well as a result. Also didn’t care for the TV set up. Unable to watch the Olympics in an Olympic-centric locale. Constant road construction feet from my parked car was noisy and inconvenient. But the negatives aside it was a great location for nearby hiking and a simply beautiful setting. Better bed and no road construction and it would rate outstanding.

The overall property was nice. Liked especially the back deck with running stream and wildlife present. Kitchen and bathroom are clean and modern. The bed was awful especially the pillows. Did not rest well as a result. Also didn’t care for the TV set up. Unable to watch the Olympics in an Olympic-centric locale. Constant road construction feet from my parked car was noisy and inconvenient. But the negatives aside it was a great location for nearby hiking and a simply beautiful setting. Better bed and no road construction and it would rate outstanding.

Just a few cons/just be aware: there is no air, but they do provide a fan, and we brought our own. With a little pre planning you can keep the cabin cool, but it is something you have to be aware of in the summer or it can get hot in there. The bathroom is always hot. The main cabin is well insulated though, when we got it cool, it stayed cool. The bed is rough. It is a full, and is old…if you are large and older like me and my husband, it is not very comfortable. I wish we would have had an air mattress too. The pullout couch is only a foam thing, so again…not a great alternative for large old people…perfect for kids though…my 12 yr old thought it was great!

Mt. Cutler cabin was exactly what we expected, except better! The location was perfect. We were able to walk to and from breakfast, dinner and shopping!

Little House on the River
This property was perfect for our needs. The location is within an easy walk of all things downtown Manitou. It was nicely updated and clean inside. The front door could use some maintenance, but was not of great concern.

When we arrived we discovered there was no ac and the temperature was 96. Called management twice and no answer. Called a third time and finally got an answer and was told we would still have to pay and we couldn't cancel. We cancelled anyway and was still charged even though policy says $50 cancellation fee. I would not mess with this place at all!

Great Location, Comfortable Stay
The cabin was just what we expected, it was right on the creek and in the best location. We walked to the shops and restaurants and had a great stay! The property manager was so sweet and helpful.

Everything was perfect. The location by a crick is exquisite; the accommodation is outstanding, cleanliness spotless, and property management personnel friendly.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit Pikes Peak and Manitou Springs on our way home from the Grand Canyon. Overall this place has a lot going for it, but there was a couple of let downs. Once you get inside the privacy fence, the place is like your own little private castle. The kitchen is nice and clean. The bathroom is nice and clean. The bedroom/living room was also decent. The deck area overlooking a little creek is pretty sweet. We actually watched a deer walk down the slope across the creek and drink water right in front of us. We were very disappointed that there is no air conditioning and that this wasn’t disclosed. Also the couch that folds out into a second bed looked nice at a glance but once you unfolded it all you could see was dog hair stuck between cushions. Our investment here for two nights was so little we almost just locked the door and left but we decided to stay and it worked out to the good.

Awesome little cabin
The cabin was great. It was just as advertised. Small and yet well equipped. Was a great place to get away for the weekend. We wish that we could have stayed longer and spent more time just relaxing at the cabin.

Cute, Clean and Cozy!
I absolutely adored this cute cabin and was so sad to be leaving. The cabin was very clean. Its perfect for couples looking to get away. It's right at the foot of a mountain with a creek in the back, it was soothing listening to it at night. Manitou was amazing and you're right next to downtown so everything is walking distance. Lots of cute shops, so many delicious cafes and restaurants and everybody is so nice and welcoming! Definitely will be going back. Thank you so much for inviting us in your home!

My parents stayed in this cabin we rented for them for a Christmas present. Their first impression when they pulled up wasn't a good one as the front right fencing/gate on the porch was hanging down, but they loved where they were able to park. They thought the cabin was cute inside and had really nice, new appliances. However, the heat units didn't put out enough heat and the space heater on the property didn't work so they were really cold the first day. They did get a hold of the owner who contacted maintenance who ended up bringing them a really nice space heater which then helped to heat the cabin properly and they were comfortable the remainder of the trip. The heater/AC units just need to also be updated. They said the bed was really comfortable and the back porch was nice as well as the creek it was just too cold while they were there to sit outside and enjoy it. Overall they enjoyed their stay.
