Located in Montgenèvre, this charming chalet for $366 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. At 1860 m above sea level, garden level of 95 m2 of a charming chalet Classified as Furnished Tourism 4 **** where stones, larches and slate combine, facing South, East and West with large terrace and private garden of 1400 m2 with trees. Ideally located, quiet and very sunny with magnificent views, near the center of the traditional village with its old church. 100 m from the ski lifts. Free shuttle bus stop nearby. Under the sun 300 days a year, the town deploys more than 400 km of slopes in the heart of the Milky Way ski area, between France and Italy. After skiing, La Durancia 5 mins walk from the chalet, a new playful balneotherapy area to share with family, friends, bubbling beds, jets, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, etc. Relaxation guaranteed! In the heart of the village, numerous activities, 2.5 km monorail sledges, 18-hole golf course, bike park, large snowmobile ride in the mountains with the possibility of eating aloft in a typical Italian restaurant, cinema, numerous restaurants and of course delicious pizza in Italy! The first Italian village Clavière is 10 minutes by car and Turin is 1 hour by car. Access to the station: by TRAIN PARIS / OULX 4:30 min then 30 min by car or with the shuttle from the station to Montgenèvre center, bus station. We absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful chalet! It was comfortable, spacious and very well equipped + stunning views! And only 5 minutes stroll to the ski slopes & town. It was our first family ski holiday & Montgenevre, everything was perfect! We certainly hope to return to this beautiful chalet one day soon.
The owners Santina & James are super lovely people, so helpful & friendly!
Tip... Apeak ski school were brilliant, lovely instructor had my 2 big kids skiing down the greens after just one lesson!
Loved every second of it!

Un chalet magnifique idéal pour profiter pleinement de la région
Nous avons passé un séjour parfait et La Lauzière y est pour beaucoup. C'est un chalet plein de charme, bien agencé, et particulièrement bien équipé. La vue sur les montagnes est splendide, ouverte sur un grand jardin apprécié tant par les enfants que par les adultes. On s'y sent bien, et nous avons adoré nous y retrouver en famille après nos belles randonnées. Il est en plus très bien localisé : nous avons rayonné aisément dans le briançonnais, dans le Queyras, dans la vallée de Névache, dans la vallée étroite et en Italie.
Enfin, ses propriétaires sont adorables, accueillants et très attentonnés.
Tout était parfait, nous y reviendrons !

Nos meilleures vacances de neige
Nos hôtes ont été charmants et très attentionnés. Le chalet est superbe, très confortable, très bien aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Les vues sur les montagnes sont splendides.
La station est belle, avec essentiellement des chalets. Le domaine skiable permet de varier les plaisirs, l’altitude de la station fait qu’il ne risque pas de manquer de neige et sa latitude garantit du soleil.

Super semaine dans le super chalet de james et santina. Appartement situé au rdc d'un magnifique chalet dans le village de montgenèvre. Le moindre aménagement est de qualité : literie, cuisine, sdb etc. A 5 min a pieds du front de neige et de l'esf. A recommander vraiment ! Et spéciale dédicace à james et santina qui sont adorables.

The cottage was large, bright and very well equipped, and we were very comfortable and happy there. The kitchen had a lot of equipment, and the Nespresso machine was a real bonus. Only a few minutes walk from the main slopes, the view facing south was magnificent. The rooms were large with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. It's easily the best cabin we've stayed in, and it's much better than the pictures. Montgenevre is great ski terrain and seems like it would be wonderful in summer too. A very higghly recommended cottage.

C'est facilement le meilleur chalet dans lequel nous ayons séjourné, et c'est beaucoup mieux que les photos. Montgenevre est super terrain de ski et semble que ce serait merveilleux en été aussi. Un chalet très recommandé.

Logement de grand standing et emplacement superbe à Montgenevre.
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans l'appartement faisant partie du chalet de James et Santina.
L'emplacement est parfait pour le ski, dans la station et proche des pistes.
Le logement est spacieux et de très bonne qualité avec une belle vue sur la montagne et les pistes.
C'est parfait pour un séjour à 6.
Et nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par les propriétaires, Santina et James.

Un superbe séjour
Malgré une réservation à la dernière minute, le propriétaires, James et Santina, se sont montrés très souples. La communication est fluide et efficace! Ce sont également eux qui nous ont accueillis étant également en vacances à Montgenevre lors de notre séjour.
Concernant le logement, il est totalement conforme aux photos et à la description. Il est très bien équipé, notamment la cuisine qui est très fonctionnelle. Les chambres sont agréables et la literie est de qualité. Enfin la vue est magnifique et l'endroit allie calme et proximité du centre de Montgenevre, accessible à pied.
Bref, rien à redire. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour en famille.

Séjour du 18 au 25 février 2017
Superbe chalet magnifiquement aménagé et décoré pour un séjour cocooning à qqs minutes seulement des pistes! Le grand jardin et l'espace intérieur se prêtent très bien à un séjour avec enfants (nous en avions 3 lors du séjour). James et Santina nous ont chaleureusement accueillis et ont été aux petits soins pendant tout le séjour, très soucieux du bien être de leurs locataires. Nous recommandons à 100% et reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Déjà hâte d'y retourner...
Allez, avouons-le, nous avons un peu hésité avant de donner notre avis après notre séjour à La Lauzière…
La Lauzière, un splendide chalet idéalement situé à 3 minutes à pied du coeur du village de Montgenèvre. A 3 minutes également des départs ESF. Bref, une situation idéale.
La Lauzière et son rez-de-jardin judicieusement orienté et soigneusement décoré. Que des beaux matériaux. C’est très beau, vraiment.
La Lauzière et son vaste séjour, ses chambres confortables, sa grande douche à l’italienne… impossible d’être exhaustif; désolé.
La Lauzière et, enfin, ses propriétaires! Si vous avez lu tout ce qui précède, vous aurez déjà compris que ce sont des gens qui ont du goût. Mais si, comme nous, vous séjournez à La Lauzière en même temps qu’eux, alors vous constaterez aussi que James et Santina sont gentils, prévenants et à l’écoute. Des gens à l’image de leur chalet; à moins que ce ne soit l’inverse…
Alors, après cet étalage d’éloges (amplement mérité), la question reste entière: pourquoi avoir « un peu hésité avant de donner notre avis »..?
Tout simplement parce que, quand on découvre ce genre d’endroit, on a envie de le garder pour soi!
