Located in Holden Beach, this charming house for $177 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. RECENTLY RENOVATED with new flooring, rugs, carpets and trim painting throughout. Freshly Painted exterior, including all decks and railings. Very little actual carpeting, easier to keep clean. Beautiful, two-level, luxury, duplex home located on quiet street at "The Family Beach." Perfect for one, two, or three couples, small families. Fantastic views from 4 decks. Backs up to marshland, Intercoastal Waterway - watch the boats go by from the multi-level back decks. Half block from beach with semi-private access (no public access there means less crowd)- undeveloped lots in front provide for great ocean views and sounds. See the ocean and listen to the waves crash as you relax on either of the two front decks. All decks are furnished, recently painted/stained, matted for cooling and lower decks and patio provide shade if desired. Light colors and picture windows on three of four walls give great bright and open feel, very sunny. We recently updated the Master bedroom with new twin mattresses that convert to a King if desired. Families seem to appreciate the flexibility. On the right day you will see one of the most beautiful sunsets imaginable off of our back decks. Updated, Florida Villa style decorations. Comfortable furnishings, breakfast bar, vaulted ceilings, well equipped kitchen are a few living features. Dining and breakfast bar seats seven for meals. Three TVs (36 inch big screen in living room, wall-mounted flat screen 20 inch in master, 32 in smart TV in guest), free wifi, DVD, cd player and digital cable provide in-house entertainment options. Large backyard, barbecue/picnic area. Paved cement patio, driveway and under-house (on pilings) parking for multiple vehicles/boat. A freshly renovated outdoor shower and changing area are available for cleaning up the family after the beach. Full weeks only during summer. Nightly rentals available (minimum stay) in offseason or last-minute during high-season if vacant, please feel free to email, we are very busy but will get back to you. Holden has a variety of restaurant options, boutique shopping and world class golf within a few miles. It is very unique in that there are numerous entertainment, dining, recreation and shopping optons on one side of the "big bridge", while the island itself across the bridge is mainly houses, quiet and peaceful. It is the quiet getaway many are looking for, with the conveniences to make it enjoyable right there as well. Boat, jet-ski rentals available at HB Marina. Fishing and crabbing areas readily available. We love our "home away from home" and think you will too. We have traveled all over the world and find Holden to be the best beach anywhere for a relaxing, quiet, courteous coastal vacation. We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and smelled fresh upon arrival - a huge plus for my wife as she’s sensitive to odors, both uncleanliness or strong harsh cleaning agents. This property was clean and had neither. No problems with check-in or check-out. Simple cleaning requirements - unlike some VRBOs that charge an exhorbitant cleaning fee PLUS have you white glove the property. Basically it was cleaning up after ourselves = take the trash out, run the dishwasher, put everything back where it started, clean food out of fridge…the stuff your mom would expect you to do anyway :-) Comfortable beds. Nice to have on-suite bathrooms in both bedrooms. The property is fairly dated as far as appliances, bathrooms, kitchen, etc, but everything worked well. Also, as a plus, the air conditioner was able to keep up with the heat fairly well. It was still much warmer upstairs than downstairs, but it was more comfortable than many beach vacation rentals I’ve had.

The location of this home was perfect for beach access and anything else you would like to do on island. The owner is great with communication and provides excellent details about the property. The home is everything you need.

The house is just as Eric describes. It is in a safe and quiet location with easy access to the beach. While it is an older home, it is clean and taken care of. We would stay again if we ever find ourselves in the area for the price and location.

The property was just what we needed. We have stayed at Oak Island for the last several years, but a price increase caused me to look elsewhere. The owner was communicative and easy to deal with. This was a much nicer house for the same price as Oak Island.

The property was as described. I let the owner now upon check in that there were little or no paper products (toilet paper and paper towels) so we were sure to add the to our run to the store for groceries. The owner was available and very responsive. The adjoining unit is a home owner who lives there year-round. They are kind and very understanding of renters coming and going in the adjoining unit. It's great to have garbage pick up 2 days a week. There are 4 porches where you and enjoy all different views based on your preference. Front you can enjoy all the families and kids biking by, especially in the evenings and also the ocean waves. The back the off shore breeze and sailboats and other boats returning from a day out on the water. We had plenty of rental gear but it's nice to know there were a few items (chairs and boogie boards) available for guests downstairs. Our only suggestion is there are so many throw rugs and they slide and cause a trip hazard when corners curl up or they move. I would consider limiting these are getting them secured to the floor in some fashion.

The home was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owner made noticeable updates recently. We loved the use of four decks and utilized them daily. The beds were harder than we prefer but this is based on our preference. Still slept well on the king bed. Beach was a three minute walk from the house and easily accessible. Host communicated well. Would stay again. Thank you for a great week at Holden!

Eric was friendly and responsive. Beautiful location. House was comfortable and had everything we needed. Appliances a little outdated but in working order. We had a great week and would recommend this property without hesitation.

My family and I stayed here this past week. The interior of the house is spacious and well decorated. We all enjoyed the options of balconies with 4 to choose from. The owner was very nice and timely with responses. Overall our stay was great.

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. The home had everything we needed. The location was excellent and Eric, the owner was so great to work with. We will definitely consider staying here for our fall beach trip next year!

We came to Holden Beach for a family wedding, and could not have picked a better place to stay. The condo is in a great location, had everything we needed, and the owner (Eric) was really helpful and made check in/check out super smooth. We'd definitely stay here again!

So got an email from the owner stating things like painting the deck hadn’t been done due to covid. The split on the other side is I believed to be the owner as we were grilling one night with the sketchy grill provided and he walked over to inform us to be careful. Their side is also very pretty both on the outside and their backyard compared to the thing we stayed in. The deck has loose boards on steps and through out that seemed like a hazard. The doors were old even thou my email states they are new and stick and you can barely get them to close. They room with the twin beds in no way could be moved apart which is the only reason I booked th:is house so enough family could fit. The fridge is missing a handle so that was hard to open for the week. Stains all over ceilings, wallpaper falling off. Floors are splitting apart due to not being down correctly and have stains all over them. The decorates are outdated and goodwill finds as they have price tags hanging from items. And the filter probably hasn’t been changed in years for the ac making it very uncomfortable unless you remove it. You pay a cleaning fee but the owner expects you to clean it. We left it the way it was when we got there unclean. The view of the beach is in between two buildings and you have to stand just right to see it and the back is overgrown blah. This is a two bedroom two bed place don’t book it if your hoping to fit people who don’t want to share beds. The closets are filled with junk along with half the drawers in the place, so unpacking doesn’t really happen. They dryer is broken and owner wants you to watch it so it doesn’t run forever even though that shouldn’t be a worry on vacation. I feel down the steps in the house the first night as they are over padded by several inches and no support under those inches so be sure to be careful walk slowly and hold the hand rails thankfully I wasn’t carrying my 2 month old. Overall the only thing this house has going for it is location.

Just returned from Holden Beach on Saturday. Duplex was very plesant and beachy. Loved sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean. Very peacful. If you like frogs this is the place for you. Home is decorated with lots of them. Such a nice quiet area. I'm sure we will be back.
