Our stay was excellent. We got a nice surprise of about 2 inches of snow which made this cute little cabin even more beautiful on the river. The only downfall is that it does sit so close to a busy road. Definitely use the advise they provide with parking and park backed in facing towards the road. You will only be able to leave out going to the left and use a place right down the road to go back the other direction if needed. I hope to be able to come back again in the warm months. I want to get in that river! It’s low enough to walk around.

Amazing view!! My husband enjoyed fishing early in the morning and late in the evening, he caught many fish. If you love fishing this is the place for you! The cows also came and drank from the river, which I enjoyed watching. DO NOT READ THE OTHER REVIEWS!! You have to see the property for yourself. Also Geri (the host) was very responsive.

We had a wonderful time. Not far from things we wanted to do and see. Hiked every day Loved seeing the cows visit the river.

This was our first cabin rental experience and we had an excellent stay there. Loved the porch looking down on the river and the swing gate on the deck to keep the pups from wandering off. We felt very much at home there. Also, you could smoke outside on the deck and I enjoyed my pipe with a cup of coffee in the mornings.

I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. The host is very responsive if an issue arises and very friendly. We loved the location. The cabin is lovely and only a short drive to attractions and shopping. I read some of the reviews before we went and they are so wrong. If you want a nice place to stay this is it. I know when we go down again we will look this place up.

This is a must stay! The river with morning coffee is priceless. The kids loved playing in the river , fishing off the rocks . Our host Geri is the absolute best . Convenient to so many places. Has everything you would need. AAA++++

Super dusty my allergies were crazy at night when sleeping.

This cabin is in the perfect place. Everything as described. Host was great. Right on the river. Great for tubing, swimming, and fishing. Close to everything without being on the main parkway. Would love to stay here again!

The weather cooperated as we spent much time on the Little Pigeon River. There is little to no water flow/current at the cabin but we brought inter-tubes and rafts which we used to run the relatively mild rapids downstream. Great time! Also, we had issues with the Ruku TV but Geri (owner) responded immediately to help us with it.

Its a nice cabin but pics are misleading. There are things that need to be fixed and/or replaced. Needs new people to clean cabin.

My husband & I enjoyed setting on the deck of a morning drinking our coffee, listening & watching the cows. Then during the day we would set out there & enjoy watching people tub down the river. I loved how the cabin was dog friendly both inside & out. We could have our dog out on the deck with us without her being on the leash because there's a gate on the deck. She absolutely loved that. The only thing we really had any issues with was trying to get all 5 of us around the table when it was time to eat because it was such a tight space there. Thank you so much for letting us rent out your beautiful cabin.

Cabin was a bit dirty overall. Looked okay on the surface but lots of dust and dirt in the corners... Hot tub was a must for us, it stayed nice and warm, was clean but here were mediocre at best with no adjustment and lights didn't work. Description notes that only a starter supply of paper products are supplied. That's being generous. There was 1 roll of toilet paper in the house, no cleaning supplies at all, not even a sponge. Only 4 towels and 3 wash clothes, no kitchen towels. Plenty of dishes and pretty much every appliance you could want. Overall it was a good stay, close to attractions, host was very responsive. My biggest complaint though was how busy the road is. Cabin is right to the road and wow read it busy and loud. Really detracted from the peacefulness.

Overall we really enjoyed our stayed at this cabin.
Positives:
- Location is extremely convenient to Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Pigeon Forge
- For a family of 4 it had plenty of room
- The river out the back was beautiful
Negatives:
- Cleanliness wasn’t to my standards. Probably the dirtiest VRBO I have stayed at. A lot of dust and the bathtub was full of dead bugs.
- Hot-tub cover is extremely water logged. Extremely difficult to put back on by yourself.
- Parking would be a challenge for more than 1 vehicle
Geri was great and responsive throughout the whole process. Overall the trip was a success. Thankfully their was a lot to do outside of the cabin. I would not personally book this again in the future.
My cleanliness standards are pretty high but of all of the vacation rentals I have stayed at this one was by far the dirtiest.

The property was exactly as advertised and a pleasure to stay in. It’s located close to downtown but has a county feel to it. I would suggest an evening sitting in the swing on the deck and enjoying the flowing river that passes by the cabin!

We booked this house for our honeymoon and it was our worst vrbo experience yet. This house was very nasty. It was dirty upon arrival. (All beds had been slept in, dirty laundry in the bath tub, floors were cover in dirt and dog hair, and trash was still in the house.) The house has not been cleaned from the pervious guest, which the owner had no ideas anyone had used it. The owner sent someone to clean it (The entire house was cleaned in an hour…🤔) The house was still nasty after the cleaning. There was mold in the shower, bugs in the tub, and a layer of dust on everything. I messaged the owner and she did not really care about any of these problems.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay here. Host was easily reached with questions. Being right on the river for fishing was a lot of fun. If you are a light sleeper, the downstairs bedrooms are very quiet. Use the path around the house to take your stuff to the lower level. Carrying luggage and fishing gear down the spiral staircase is tricky. Some of the furnishings are well loved but still functional. Still a good value for the money.

Cabin is cozy, warm and loved the decor. Pro....location to everything, waterfront, comfy master bed. Cons...no fault of owner...we thought it was secluded, but it is on VERY busy road. No sleep. No dish clothes to clean tables or countertops, no vacuum, no place for dog to use restroom (100lbs dog on a cliff didn't work for our big girl) only way down to water is a steep dirt path. No steps from deck to water. We will be back but if you have a large dog or little kids this isn't the place. Owner Geri is great host and we plan on visiting again soon at one of the other cabins in the woods LOL

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving at the Lazy River. The location is exactly what we were looking for, close to Pigeon Forge and all of our favorite places like Dollywood and The Island. The view of the river was amazing and our granddaughter was thrilled to see a couple of cows taking a swim. Geri was amazing with contact leading up to our stay. Once we got there, we did not need a thing because everything was perfect, however, I am sure if we did she would have been just as communicative. We will definitely stay again!

Very cozy cabin. Loved that master bedroom was on different level then our teenagers. Was surprised to see cows across the river having a drink. I loved watching them....my dog not impressed lol. Cabin is about 20 min from piegon forge so great location out of the hassle of things but close enough to enjoy Gatlinburg and Piegon Forge.

We enjoyed staying here. There was a gate to latch going down the stairs so I didn’t have to worry about my 11 month old crawling and falling down the steps. The only down side it’s right on the road and you could hear traffic just about all night. We loved the easiness to be able to get to pigeon forge and Dollywood. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome cabin!!!!

Overall, the cabin was very nice. When we contacted the owner with a couple of quick general questions, she responded very fast. We would certainly recommend this property to others. Good location. It's about 15 minutes from Dollywood and close to the national park and Gatlinburg. Enough room for four adults and three dogs to be totally comfortable. We also had two vehicles. Although there wasn't a lot of room to potty the dogs or easily turn our vehicles around, we managed just fine once we developed our own system.. The only "problem" we had was that a lot of light bulbs were burned out (two in the fixture over the kitchen table, two in the ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom and one in the upstairs bathroom). Although the lighting wasn't the greatest, we managed just fine.

We had a great time. It was a new experience for our family doing the cabin type of vacation . The location was close to everything. The porch looking out to the river is so relaxing and inviting. Geri was absolutely great to work with and answered questions anytime. We definitely will be going through her again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lazy River. The cabin is beautiful and sits right on the river. It was fantastic to sit on the deck and just relax! We hope to come back next year!

We enjoyed our stay. Location was great for our adventures out. We had a great vacation!

We had a great week at this cabin. Had a minor issue with the hot tub the first night and Geri was quick to fix it while we were gone the next day! The driveway was definitely tricky to get in and out, but didn’t ruin any part of our stay! Would definitely stay in this cabin or another of Geri’s if we come back :)

Great location, good for a smaller group
Location of cabin is perfect for anyone wanting to be close to all the action of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg without being in it. We had 7 people from 65-14, and it was a tight fit. Three couples or fewer would be perfect. It is definitely a cozy cabin. Kitchen is well stocked but doesn't have much space to store dry goods. Property manager is clear about expectations and communicative.

Washing machine has been broke for months
Why is the washing machine STILL not fixed? I got a message a few days before we arrived stating it was broke. But from the reviews it's been broken for months and still is. If I were you I would find a different "repair" man. Sounds like we all were being lied to. Keep in mind, for the price ppl are paying to stay at your place, you could have replaced it months ago, regardless if its only two years old or not. This is obviously an ongoing issue. People want to be able to use the amenities you have listed. When broke, the proper thing to do is fix it.

Dirty cabin with no yard for pet
This was a horrible experience. First contact with Geri washer was broken before we arrived. Second contact email about don’t contact me with minor issues 🥴. Well I knew then that there were going to be problems with the place. On a steep mountain side with no yard to walk our goldens. Fire pit had one moldy bench and two old plastic chairs one broken. I most certainly wouldn’t use them. Was called to inform me the toilet had issues from previous guest. Late arrival so next day did a walk thru and let her know couch had rips so I wouldn’t get blamed. Garbage outside completely full! Note on fridge said if full to take our trash to a dumping area. I am on vacation! Downstairs not cleaned. They didn’t have time to clean 🤨. Underwear left in draw in master room. Ceiling fans so dusty. This place is very dusty everywhere. On walls pictures etc. floors look like never mopped. Worst experience with VRBO. Geri allowed us to leave with a 1 day refund. Well of course you really don’t get 1/2 back. So many non-refundable fees even though it was their issues. Went to hotel and finished our vacation at smoky mountains in a clean room.

Cozy Cabin
Great communication with owner. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin and water view…my favorite part was the porch. We were out and about often so the traffic noise wasn’t too much of a deal. It was our first time visiting the area and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great centralized location with conveniences of home
We had such a great trip at Geri’s cabin on the Little Pigeon River! We loved watching the cows come down to drink from the river while we floated around. This cabin really lets you immerse yourself in nature while still being centralized enough to easily get to the touristy stuff in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (the Titanic museum is a must-see), as well as hiking in the National park. The kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious dinners every night. The noisy road was the only thing that may deter some people, but it pays for the convenience of being so close (yet far enough) from all the points of interest. I imagine this place would be an awesome visit in the fall or winter too, but we enjoyed floating in the river in the warm summer sun. We brought our small dogs, but I bet a bigger dog would have had a great time in the river which makes up for the lack of yard (which is typical for a cabin). We would definitely stay at Geri’s cabin again, our family trip was so much fun!!

great views
We really enjoyed our time at the Lazy River. Geri was so easy to work with. Everything she has stated in her listing is true. Traffic: YES, but worth the noise. Morning coffee on the deck overlooking the river: awesome. floating on the river: awesome.
Swinging on the porch in the evening: awesome. We are thankful that she would share her home with us. It was a great relaxing vacation.

Beautiful place on large creek. We didn’t bring any pets and personally I don’t think that would be very enjoyable if you did. The cabin is directly off a main highway and the wooden railing on the porch is spaced far apart so a small dog could get through the railing, making a leash an absolute necessity even with the gate. Small children would need to be watched constantly as well with the creek and roadway. Not handicap friendly due to the only way downstairs is a small spiraling staircase. Other than issues mentioned, this is the perfect property. Absolutely gorgeous place with beautiful scenery. We did have an issue with the washing machine leaking water and I called the property owner to let her know what was going on. She is an incredibly nice person and easy to communicate with. :) We would return back to this cabin if we planned to go back to this area for vacation.

Easy check in and out process. The cabin is very nice. The only thing we didn’t like was the road noise and access to and exiting property.
