This place was excellent and we loved our stay here. The tents were beautiful and very comfortable. There grounds are beautiful and well equipped, with hammocks, a swing, campfires, etc. We really enjoyed sitting by the campfire in the evening with a beer from the bar and making s'mores with the complimentary s'mores kit. Highly recommend!

This is our 7th year at Firelight. My daughter and I and 2 grandchildren make this an annual event. Comfortable beds
The tent needed a zip repaired but the maintenance staff fixed it promptly when notified

Wonderfully set up, everything is eco-friendly.
The staff here is exceptional, very genuine, kind and helpful. The hikes you can do from here are great and the falls are just beautiful.
The food is amazing!
The facilities are clean and beautifully built, designed with nature in mind while providing you absolutely everything you would expect in a hotel.
The next time we come back I’ll check out the lodge and spa, I am sure they are equally lovely.
The tents are really big, the beds are exceptionally soft and comfy! I am roadtripping from Florida to NYC and back, and the beds and pillows here were softer than any hotel we stayed at. Marriott, Radisson, Best Western and smaller local properties have nothing on these thick fluffy mattresses, warm blankets, full size pillows.
If you are a person who loves the outdoors but can’t do a traditional tent with sleeping bags anymore this place is it for you. Had we not been on a schedule I would have added a several more days here for sure.
I can’t wait to be back!

We did enjoy staying at Firelight, easy access to Buttermilk park. Staff all very nice and helpful.
I think it could do with a little T.L.C.
The blankets on the bed were full of holes. The first night was very cold. I mean the bedding was very damp and was nearly impossible to get warm. The next day was a little warmer so I let the bed air to see if I could dry it out a little. The showers and toilets are a little bit away from the tents so you have to kind of walk through the communal area to go to the shower. I think for the price it could be alot better. There is alot of little upgrades that could be made to make it a little more comfortable. I do realize that its not camping but as I said fot the prices it needs upgrades.
