About this condo rental
Situated in Snowshoe, this charming condo for $78 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Great location next to the village and just steps away from restaurants/bars, shops, and even a Starbucks! You’ll love the location of our 2BR, 2BA condo – it’s on the first floor so you can walk across the hall and onto the slopes. No steps or elevators to navigate with all of your equipment or kids. Our condo sleeps 6 - each bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a queen sleep sofa. There is a brand new 40 inch Flat screen TV in the living room with Netflix, DVD Player and a brand new 32 inch flat screen TV in each bedroom. The condo has a dedicated internet connection with wireless router so you don't have to worry about the strength of the Mountain Lodge WiFi - you'll have your own private internet line in the unit! Mountain Lodge Building has a game room, indoor play equipment for the kids, a large TV in one of the common areas, and a huge fireplace in the lobby to rest your feet and warm up after a hard day on the slopes! Mountain Lodge is steps away from the main village with lots of restaurants/bars, shops, and even a Starbucks. Summer Rentals: Mountain Lodge has bike lockers available for rent, but they do not allow bikes in the building or in individual units. Mountain Lodge does not have air conditioning. There are fans in our condo and the heat is generally not an issue at the top of the mountain but the building and the individual condos do not have AC.

The location is perfect! Check-in was easy. It was a little small for 5 adults, but only while we were up and about (and not on the slopes). It definitely sleeps 6, no problem. I really, really wanted to give this place 5-stars, because it was almost PERFECT. But I had a few problems with the kitchen. We found dirty dishes when we got there, and not in the sink; they were mixed in with the clean dishes. One of the steak knives had a solid layer of dried ketchup on one side of the blade. Speaking of knives, every single kitchen knife was as dull as a baseball bat. I had to bludgeon my sausage apart. Honestly, these are little things (and everything else was great), but I just can't leave a 5-star review because of them.

This room is clean and we live the location it is very close to the lift and the village. The owner is great to work with and as long as the event that we attend comes back to Snow Shoe I will rent again it was great.

The room was great. Room stayed very warm, (even with thermostat off). Good amount of space for family of five. Room is right near the lockers (cages), which are very handy for storing a large assortment of gear. Easy loading and unloading. Would stay there again.

People walking past talking throughout the night could be disturbing if you have small kids. We used white noise to drown out the hallway noises. However, I would pick the location to slopes regardless of the busy hallway. We have stayed in a few different rooms at Mountain Lodge. The bonus of walking out of the unit and being directly across from the slopes is worth it. No elevators, no long walk to room with ski/snowboard equipment. That is definitely a huge bonus. You can take the ski lift to the door to Mountain lodge and from there it is steps to the unit. We will definitely rent this unit again. Unit was clean and stocked with everything that we might need for our stay....Having the kitchen is great. Thank you for sharing your Snowshoe rental with us. The updates to the outside of Mountain Lodge are great. This includes new windows and sliding glass doors to the condo.

Not true ski in ski out. Loud
Loudest place I have ever tried to sleep. Walls paper thin. Bedroom beside hallway that whole lodge uses (24/7). Kids screaming and running all day and all night. Towels were in windows when we arrived. Air comes in windows. Was told true ski in/ski out. Which means you can ski out your door to slopes. This was "close" to slopes but not ski in/ski out. View of parking lot NOT slopes. Have paid A LOT less (probably half) for better accommodations on this mountain.

Perfect location
We enjoyed staying so close to the village and lift. Very nice to have a small kitchenette as well as 2 bathrooms. One bedroom is on the small side but served our purposes.

Had a wonderful family trip. Only thing we were unhappy with were the beds. The bed frame and mattress in both bedrooms could be replaced. They were pretty uncomfortable.

The property has morphed over the years but I was happy to find it, happy to be there and would rent it again...my 4 rating about cleanliness was not about clean as much as "worn"....some things had obviously been in use a long while but everything worked!

Great stay for a short getaway
We had a great weekend exploring the fall colors in the mountains. The condo was perfect for our needs. Wish we knew that most restaurants and shops were closed this time of the year, so we could bring more food with us. But we made it work. Overall, great place, just less populated in the fall. The drive around the area revealed magnificent views.

Great location at a fair price
Little difficult to find out how to check in and the owners number on the listing isn’t correct. However, once we figured it out it was a nice little place that met all of our needs. We will likely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in the Mountain Lodge. It is very clean. The owner was very communicative. The location was great because it is close to the main village but removed enough to get away from the noise.

We love this condo we have been in the same condo for 2 years now. The location is great, we love that is on the first floor. Will was great to communicate with he was super quick on his response and we plan on coming back next year.
