About this house rental
Located in Bethany Beach, this charming house for $290 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This gem at the beach could be your getaway this spring, summer and fall! Villa Villekulla is fabulous family rental on a nice quiet street...close enough to walk to the beach and downtown but far enough to be able to sit back and relax on the covered back deck after a day in the sun. We are honored that once guests stay with us they book again year after year. The property is available for Saturday to Saturday rentals. We are so excited to share updated photos of the new dining room and back deck addition. We've added an additional dining room (doubling the living room space) expanded one bedroom and doubled the deck area to give you even more room in this great family rental. With new wood flooring and paint through Villa Villekulla has never looked better! We are so excited about the new renovation and we'd love to have you spend your summer week with us! This lower level duplex is a wonderful, cozy family rental and it's never looked better! With a bright interior, granite countertops, wood flooring, along with a shaded back deck and fenced in backyard perfect for little (and big) kids to play in...it's one of the nicest family rentals right in town. All the bedrooms have new wood flooring and there is a TV in every bedroom as well as the family room. Boosted WiFi is available as well. Located on a quiet street, Villa Villekulla is a great family rental. Just three and half blocks from the beach, one and half blocks from downtown Bethany Beach. It's an easy stroll or a hop on the .25 cent trolley which stops right in front of the house. The newly expanded library is right around the corner and has great story hours and activities and a great playground is a block away. Spend your days at the beach and your evenings walking on the boardwalk, kite flying, or shopping in one of the many shops. Want to go out to dinner? No need to get into your car as Bethany has a number of restaurants including Mango's, Patsy's, Bethany Blues, Pie and the new Ropewalk and Hideaway. If you are looking for more evening entertainment Dewey, Rehobeth Beach and Ocean City are both minutes away. Outlet shopping (tax free) is just minutes away in Rehobeth. Keywords: Duplex

We had such an amazing week!! This house was absolutely amazing and had everything you could possibly need. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Andrea and Jerry were an absolute pleasure to deal with. The location was great. Close enough to beach to walk, bike or even drive if needed to transport all your beach stuff. Parking was never an issue for beach access for us but could have been the week we went also. The town of Bethany uses ParkMobile and rates are $3/hr. But one of the biggest bonuses for this house is the Trolley will pick you up right in front of the house and take you to the boardwalk within minutes. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Bethany!!

Wonderful stay at Andrea and Jerry's! The house is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities you could need for a comfortable week at the beach! We loved the neighborhood and the easy walk into town. We also caught the trolley which goes right by. The bathrooms were recently remodeled and look fantastic, but one note is that there is no longer a tub! Luckily our 4 year old loved the outdoor shower, as well as playing in the fenced in yard! We would definitely love to return here in the future. :)

We had a great vacation here. The property was clean and well appointed. Outdoor shower was terrific. Smart TVs in every room were a hit with our teenagers. Everything was easy from check in to check out. Thank you for the wonderful week!

This house was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and comfortable. Having 2 full nice bathrooms is a plus. The large back porch was nice to sit after a day at the beach along with the front porch for morning coffee. The location was close enough to the beach to walk. Overall it was a great family vacation.

We've been coming to Bethany for 15 years and stayed all over. This was by far the best location we have ever had. Walking distance to the beach, downtown Bethany, and up 26 to some of our favorite restaurants made it so enjoyable and easy. Plus the trolley comes right by in case you want to jump on. We also loved how nice and clean the house is. Overall a great vacation!

Absolutely perfect home
We absolutely loved staying here and Andrea was super responsive. This home is immaculate and absolutely the best place we’ve stayed it. It’s a short walk to the beach. Even restaurants! The outside shower is phenomenal on hot days when you come back from the beach. The house is spacious and feels like a home away from home. We plan to return next summer!

Spacious and Clean!
Even better than pics. Very clean and roomy with plenty of seating. Bethany boardwalk is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive with a parking pass that allows free parking for one vehicle on designated streets close to beach access. There is a trolley running every 30 minutes that will pick up and drop off at your door! You just wait outside and hop on with all your gear - only 25 cents per person one-way. You can read about this on Bethany's website and track the trolleys location. Everything you need is close by including 2 major grocery stores. There is a Farmers Market on Sunday close to the boardwalk. Parking is tight if you have 2 vehicles but owners are VERY accomodating. We grilled one evening and called with an issue that was quickly resolved. We HIGHLY recommend this rental and would love to return.

Pretty house, big back yard, and close to the beach.
The house is very clean and if there is any issues, Peter and Andrea will tackle it once you let them know. Yard is large with pretty of chairs for relaxing. It is about 12 minute walk to the beach. If it rains, there is a library about a 2 minute walk from the house.

Cute little cottage, great for families
Our group of 4 adults and 2 small children really enjoyed our recent stay. The cottage decor was so light and airy and it was in pristine condition upon check-in. We automatically felt relaxed. Although it is small, we didn't feel cramped because it has a good sized living room, kitchen, beautiful back room with large windows, an outdoor table, and an outdoor lounge area in a lovely backyard with trees and greenery. The front also has a little sitting area. The neighborhood is tucked away in a safe and quiet space. The trolley goes by occasionally although I confess that I couldn't quite ever figure out its schedule:) Everyone we encountered was very friendly. I enjoyed a peaceful bike ride through the quiet streets one evening. The cottage has plenty of helpful items for making the half-mile walk to the beach easy with kids. We used the wagon, beach chairs, buckets and shovels, and umbrella each day. The kids loved having some things to play with. The walk is pretty easy. There is one busy intersection, but mostly it is a quiet walk. The walk also takes you through shops and restaurants too. The boardwalk is so cute at Bethany Beach! The kitchen has plenty of items for cooking and preparing meals if you are in the mood for that. The back table and outdoor table had ample seating for all of us to enjoy meals together. Andrea was very good about answering our questions and even bought a new umbrella right away when we encountered an issue with a clamp on the old one. Overall, it was a great experience that we would be happy to do again! I recommend it!:)

Wonderful Week
We had a wonderful week at this beautiful property. It’s within walking distance of the beach and Boardwalk, and we enjoyed the beach supplies and outdoor patio. Andrea went above and beyond and was helpful and responsive if we needed anything! We would love to go back!

Fantastic location and property!
Just stayed here for a week with my son and family and we had a lovely time! Location is fantastic -- few blocks from beach and main street. Place itself had everything we needed, from kitchen appliances, to grill outside, to beach gear, to board games for us to play. In terms of COVID 19, place was spotless when we entered and we felt very safe.

Comfortable stay in Bethany
My family enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable house. Easy walk to town and the beach, and a nice neighborhood for our daily walks. We wanted a house rather than hotel so that we could have all our meals at home instead of restaurants or even carry-out, so this place was perfect with the well-equipped kitchen.

Everything We'd Hoped for...
We had a wonderful stay at this charming beach cottage! The house itself was lovely - very comfortable and beautifully decorated. There is even a covered deck in the back with a large dining table and chairs and a sitting area which is not in the photos - we were pleasantly surprised. The use of the beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon made the walk to the beach much easier. The owners were very gracious and accommodating. We would definitely consider returning!

Great Stay -- Pictures Don't Do it Justice
This is a great property. A good walk from the beach on a quiet neighborhood street. The pictures on the listing don't do this place justice, its clean and spacious. Plenty of room to gather for 6 adults. The owners were so accommodating and friendly -- they stayed in the unit above so no concerns about upstairs renters. We would stay here again!

2020 Summer Getaway
We had an absolutely fantastic trip to Bethany, and the proximity to the beach really made it special! Our host was kind, accommodating and very responsive. The house was super cute and beachy, extremely clean and came with a beach umbrella and wagon for our use! The outside area in the back really made meal time and our evenings feel like a retreat. We will be back!
