Welcome to Stone Creek, a private 3 acre estate conveniently located minutes to Louisville, KY. This is the Ultimate Getaway! Upon entering the premises, you will find a custom iron security gate requiring coded access. Stone Creek boasts 2500+ sq ft of luxury living space complete with a full kitchen, & laundry. Guests will have full use of the grounds including the hot tub, fire pit, and the numerous covered decks & patios. Perfect romantic getaway or multi person retreat. The space Stone Creek offers luxury accommodations in a private setting. You will enjoy the perfect balance between comfort & high end amenities. The interior features everything you would expect in a cabin getaway-comfortable furnishings, hardwood floors, a beautiful stone fireplace, & wooded setting. High end amenities include floor to ceiling marble baths, walk in showers, jetted tub, stainless appliances, front load laundry, gated entry & hot tub. The main level offers a two story vaulted Great Room, Laundry, Office, Two full baths, & Master Bedroom. Upstairs you will find a Full Bath & Three Bedrooms. Outdoors you will find a massive covered front porch, back deck off of the kitchen, a two tiered gazebo next to the waterfall, side deck, & lower level patio space. Stone Creek offers a phenomenal location within 2 miles from Exit 19 off I-65 & approx 22 miles to Downtown Louisville. Hiking and trails are available 1 mile down the road at Clark County State Forestry. Champions Pointe, a Fuzzy Zoeller golf course, is approx 5 minutes away. This would be an ideal rental for those participating in the Derby festivities. Property and house were exactly as described and even more beautiful in person. The best part of the whole stay was, April, the homeowner. There were a couple small things needed in the kitchen and she had them replaced immediately. More importantly she communicated with us. We loved our stay and using it as "headquarters" for our daughter's wedding. Beautiful experience. Thank you. Hope to stay again.

We loved everything about this house!!! It was just close enough to the city but have that "country" vibe. So relaxing. The house had so many games, puzzles, and other activities our kids were so entertained they didn't want to go adventure around town.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. Loved the outdoor amenities- spent nights by the fire and in the jacuzzi! Game room was perfect for everyone also.

This property was exactly how it was depicted in the listing!! April was an amazing host who was always in contact with us. The property was beautiful and had a tucked away log cabin feel. Three level deck, controlled fire pit and hot tub were exciting. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Louisville. Oh…and check out the movie that was filmed at Stone Creek. A fun movie experience knowing it was filmed in the home. Definitely a 5/5 star review! Thanks April.

We stayed at the cabin for a family vacation. We went to 2 different caves, visited the science center for kids in Louisville, went to several different parks, went to Hubers family farm and orchard where the kids had a blast in the kids park, and we went to the splash pad in downtown Louisville. The kids had a great time. We also enjoyed spending time at the cabin where the kids could run around the yard, ride bikes and scooters on the driveway and we made a sidewalk chalk obstacle course on the driveway for the kids to enjoy. We were hoping the kids could play in the creek but unfortunately it has been dry there and so it was dried up during our stay. Overall we had a great time. The cabin was amazing and fit our family well.

What a wonderful rental! The cabin presents as pictured. It is clean, comfortable, and well stocked with all the necessities. It is set up for relaxing fun~ whether you are in the hot tub, playing cornhole in the yard, or using the gameroom. The Great Room and large porch (with rockers) are the perfect spots for lounging and conversation. And the large dining table was perfect for meals and games. Thank you, April, for offering such a beautiful spot to connect with those who matter the most!

Our family of four had a wonderful 4-night stay. Check-in was easy with the lock box and each of our teenage kids had their own room which they loved. The pictures were very accurate and we looked forward to the hot tub each night after visiting Kentucky Kingdom, Holiday World, Mega Cavern and the Indiana Caverns.
Just be aware rolling a heavy suitcase to the front door can be difficult as the rocky pathway and the large rock step into the front door may be difficult for older people to navigate. Some of the bedroom windows do not have shades which didn't bother me, but others may not enjoy the early morning sunny wake up. There are also train tracks nearby and a train whistle you may hear if you're a light sleeper.
April provided us with snacks and drinks and even small soap bars in the bathrooms to get our trip easily started. It was nice to disconnect a bit as the wi-fi is not terribly fast in the cabin... a disappointment for my ever-connected kids, but fine with me. The cell service you get here was decent so I did not mind using that when needed. But I do like to include these details in my review for future guests so they can plan ahead and also have an enjoyable stay. It was an excellent time for us and would not hesitate to go back again. Thank you!

The property is peaceful and beautiful! House is as pictured!! The garage game room was a plus! There are many outdoor sitting areas and plenty of room inside the house. Our family of ten enjoyed the visit. We spent time at Deam Lake, a very nice nature area. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Our stay at April's property was relaxing. We enjoyed all the property had to offer. Peaceful and quiet. Close to Louisville, The power went out during our stay. we notified her and she responded immediately and kept us updated. We would definitely consider staying here in the future.

There was something there for every age! My granddaughters loved going to the creek and looking for treasures! They also loved playing hide and seek with so many different places to hide. The adults loved playing ping pong and corn hole! We also loved making smores at the fire pit and most especially the hot tub. Would definitely stay there again! April, our host, was very responsive!

We stayed at this location from 5/23 to 5/26 for our anniversary. From booking the place to the day of our return everything was perfectly handled by our host who msged us and kept s clear line of correspondence. The place was immaculately clean and well stocked . The grill had a full tank of propane and the hot tub as well as the fire pit were in excellent condition. We would definitely come back to visit again with family and friends. Its a bit big for just 2 people lol. Great place and the gate in the front is a cool look with extra safety.

We booked a year ahead and there were constant communications the entire time with owner April! My wife turned 60 and she wanted to attend Kentucky Derby with family and friends! April had home decorations and gifts upon arrival! What a Suprise! The place was so clean and well taken care of. Perfect outdoor sitting areas and we grilled every night. Jacuzzi was nice and bathrooms are really cool. She gave me names to drivers for Derby and Cake maker for wife's birthday which were both outstanding! Any questions I had she answered promptly and was so nice! Thank you, April, for the best experience ever! Would love to stay again! this is definitely a gem!

This home is not only beautiful and an amazing place to stay, but April such a gracious host! She was very responsive and accommodating to our needs with a large party! She was incredibly kind and we would stay there and work with her again in a heartbeat!

Everything was wonderful. Only complaint is that the internet was quite slow, which made streaming holiday movies a bit of a challenge. Otherwise, we loved the hot tub, the kitchen, the living room setup, and all the rooms.

A great place to “get away from it all”. Peaceful log cabin home surrounded by large hardwood trees and a small creek on rolling land.
Well appointed, plenty of room for the 9 of us, all adults. Enjoyed the outdoor seating areas accessed from the different bedrooms. A gem of a property!

We loved your placed. We are 4 sisters and spouses from Kansas and Colorado visiting for a week. Your house worked great for us being away from the city. This property was just as advertised, very nice house, comfortable beds, nice outdoor spaces. All of the games, ping pong table and hot tub were bonuses for our group. Property is close to Louisville so plenty to do in area.

Enjoyed spending time with our two kids and their families. It was very hot during our stay but we spent a lot of time on the huge front porch or the deck with the ceiling fan at night and with coffee in the morning. The house had everything we needed and room to spread out. April was quick to respond to any questions and very pleasant. You can tell she cares about this house. We drove into Louisville which was only 20 minutes away. Malibu Jacks was a great indoor gaming center with rides, games and a beautiful miniature golf course - good on a hot day. My 8 year old granddaughter loved the goat farm. Lots to do in Louisville and nice to come back to a quiet, pretty setting at night to chill out and listen to the birds and other wildlife. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

If you want an amazing home, this is it! The attention to detail is fantastic! Great property and very clean. Very quick to answer questions! Loved the outdoors fire pit. Adult kids loved the game room. Has tons of games/books/movies. Would highly recommend this home for fun and relaxation.

This is a great spot with awesome amenities for a bigger group. A short drive to Louisville and several distilleries, golf courses, nature trails, and I'm sure much more. Be mindful that to fit more than 7, folks will need to share beds. Ideal if you have several couples.

Nice quiet place with lots of room
The house is nice. The wifi is not great but that’s not exactly why you would book this house. It was a little too humid to enjoy the front porch but overall I’d stay here again.

Amazing Cabin with all the amenities of home. Quiet peaceful location with easy access to Louisville
Our family had a great time. The cabin is in a great location to be away from congestion of the city but close enough to allow the daily commute we wanted to do to Louisville easy. The cabin has everything needed to make the week we were the great family time. Playing games like corn hole and can jam in the front yard to grilling and sitting by the fire pit making s’mores. Played Ping Pong and visited the nearby Disc golf course for a round of frisbee golf. I highly recommend the Cabin and property owners as it was all it was advertised to be and more.

Great family spring break retreat!
My family and I were looking for a nice cabin to kick back in for a few days. This cabin met all of our needs, and then some! There is plenty of space everywhere! The kids loved the hot tub, all of the outdoor space, and especially the garage games. The adults loved all of the above as well. The cabin is just as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures. An added bonus for us Chicagoans was the close proximity to Louisville. We have never been, and we were able to take a quick trip to see Churchill Downs and grab dinner there. Totally loved Louisville will be back soon! I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a random family retreat, or looking for something outside of Louisville. My only suggestion would be to bring plenty of food, or stop at a grocery store before arriving. We came prepared, but had to run out for a couple of things. The nearby grocery store selection is minimal if you’re used to having plenty of options.

Amazing cabin for a group getaway!
Couldn’t have better things to say about this property. April is extremely accommodating and great at communication, and the cabin is adorable. We booked this as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and our group particularly loved the ping pong table, giant Jenga, fireplace (pack s’mores!), hot tub, etc. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!
