About this cottage rental
Beautifully decorated & comfortable barn-cottage on 275 acres only 6.9 miles from the Oxford Square. The property has knotty pine walls with a large living and kitchen area, screened porch and a large bedroom and bath. The Inn sleeps 4 (1 queen bed, 2 twin beds in the bedroom) (Rates are based on 4 guests. Each additional guest must pay $45 per night.) The bathroom has a shower, large closet, full-sized stack washer/dryer, and iron and ironing board. The living room and kitchen combination is complete with refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, and large widescreen television with satellite and a DVD player. There are over a mile of walking trails through hardwood forests and around a beautiful lake. Fishing is allowed upon signing of waiver. The owners live on the property if there are any questions during your stay.

We were reluctant to stay outside of Oxford but in the end, we were so glad we did. Oxford is such a fun town, but we really appreciated the serenity this property offered. After spending the days in town with young people, it was nice to have a quiet place to spend our nights and mornings. Walking through the woods to the lake was a treat. The barn was clean, cozy, and remarkably well stocked. Claire’s great! She’s a bery responsive host who’s thought of everything. We had great stay and would stay again.

Perfect little rental for a weekend in Oxford! Owner is very sweet, accommodating and very fast communication. Will definitely stay here again! Spotless and peaceful. Nice little walk to the lake and dock, perfect stargazing spot.

Absolutely lovely, private... a true paradise in the pines. The amenities were very nice..perfect for what we needed. We did a 3 day online conference while there and the internet worked flawlessly. The hosts were extremely accommodating, friendly, and gracious. We cannot wait to come back.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting MS for the first time for a wedding weekend. The property was unreal - like something off of a hallmark movie. The cottage was SO cozy and clean... Claire went WAY out of her way to make sure the visit was enjoyable. We had access to hiking trails and started each morning off with a walk to the lake/dock where we sat and drank our coffee. Loved our memories from this trip! Brit & Nick
