About this cabin rental
Nestled in Gatlinburg, this lovely cabin for $940 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This signature Heritage Log home plan features 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths with huge game room. A wide open great room with stone center fireplace surrounded by fixed glass and a beautiful view of Mt. LeConte. We've had visitors travel over 1,600 miles just to see and experience the craftsmanship and luxury of the Silvercreek. 3 Separate suites with King size beds and a 4th bedroom featuring 2 sets of twin bunk beds for the kids. 6 TV's and DVD Players, Pool Table, Hot Tub, Gas Grill and Air Hockey table are all standard amenities. Enter on the main level to the great room, there is one suite with king sized bed and the kitchen, dining, and separate laundry room with side by side washer / dryers. Upstairs is a loft sitting and sleeping area with suite and kids bunk room (2 sets of twin bunks). The lower level is a huge game room with pool table, air hockey, wet bar and sleeper sofa. Another suite with full bath and Jacuzzi tub is also on the lower level. Originally designed as a 6 bedroom, 2 bedrooms were removed to enable more living space for less guests. This cabin has 3 distinct areas for guests to gather so that someone can always find a quiet place in the cabin. A desk is available on the main level if you need to work and there is Free Wireless High-Speed Internet included in this cabin. We had an amazing time at Silvercreek and loved all the amenities the cabin provided. The outdoor fireplace is on a timer FYI so you need to activate that first to get the gas and electricity going.

We had a group of 11 who stayed in this cabin and we had a great time. We enjoyed the pool and the space made it so we were always gathered together, even when we may be doing different things. Kitchen was great, bedrooms were comfy. We did have maintenance come out to reset the golden tee and the other games, while they did turn on, none of the controls worked and they eventually went dark, seems like they needs some maintenance or new machines altogether. Theater system is great, but there is not cable which is in the instructions but figured I’d call it out. We hooked up laptops and streamed and it worked great.

Overall, nice. The arcade games didn't work. There were no movies for the theater. The basement smelled musty. Not enough trash bags to accommodate 11 people for 3 days. Very little furniture around the deck to accommodate a cabin with this many sleeping arrangements. The washer & dryer are extremely noisy, the shower heads are very low flow and hot water takes forever. The pool however was nice

Silvercreek had a great setup and everyone in our party had space. Kids loved that the game room was downstairs and right by the pool. I loved that the road was paved!! I was a little disappointed with the view, but it was easy to drive into. I loved that it was quiet and we didn't have neighbors on top of us even though we were close together. Would rent again.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. There were a few minor issues, but would not prevent us from staying with you again. The sectional couch in living room desperately needs replaced. Very un comfortable. I lost count how many light bulbs were out through out the cabin. Also had issues with arcade games, maintenance came out to take a look. Fixed 1, other had to get part reordered. Next day, 3nd arcade stopped working again, needed maintenance to reset again, didn't even bother messing with as too much of a headache.

First and foremost let me say that this cabin was beautiful, clean and the location was great. I’d give 5 stars but there are some very small things I had “issue” with that I didn’t like. First small issue was the lack of useful items in the cabin. I’ve stayed at multiple Air BnBs where former guest left seasonings in the kitchen, dish detergent, toilet paper etc, but this cabin come with very little items and per the resort’s request, nothing is to be left in the kitchen for the next guest. That leads to purchasing those types of items and then throwing them away once you leave which is just wasteful. I can’t fly with kitchen and bathroom stuff, and whose gonna try to find a local shelter to give it to while on vacation lol. Second small issue was that if you didn’t call for trash service, no one would pick it up. With a cabin that size you’d like to think trash service would come at least once a week but it didn’t. However when I called they came within the hour. I also recommend some sort of recycling bin which would lead to less trash in the cans. Lastly was the pool room. Awesome set up and it was used daily, but b/c the thermostat is secured we couldn’t use the a/c unit which made that room steamy and muggy. Swimming was nice but it was too hot to relax next to the pool. Yes these are minor things but the cabin wasn’t cheap so at that price point I expected the absolute best. Other than those things, this place was awesome and it was close to everything!

The rental was decent with good location, accessibility and nice pool area. However the supply of amenities left a lot to be desired. There was not even backup bathroom towels provided besides the one for each bathroom. The same was the case with kitchen towels.

The cabin not clean. Fingerprints on all glass doors, coffee grounds still in pot and was moldy, wood on 1 deck was splintered so we didn’t sit or go on that deck, pool had stuff floating on top (like suntan lotion) and was super cold, floors were sticky and the dirt would stick to our feet. Code would not work and waited close to 15 min for someone to call back and cockroaches in the kitchen...

Furniture needs replacing, grill was not useable, broken ice dispenser, broken blinds and broken arcade game. Maintanence came and took pictures but nothing was fixed. There was no squeezee in pool area so no way to clear water from doorway without wading through water. Such a nice property to not be maintained.

This cabin was perfect for a big group. It had 3 floors with bedrooms on each floor and the basement had lots of games for the kids to play and a theatre. The pool room was separate and it had an alarm and a secured gate to get to the pool door which we really liked since we had younger kids.

The only disappointment we had the entire trip was that the Bubble Hockey machine wasn’t working. One of the goals was knocked off and their wasn’t a puck. Not a huge deal at all, but when you and your friends love hockey.. it was a slight bummer.
I would 1000% recommend this cabin and I’m positive that this same group will make a return in the future!

The cabin was big and spacious. We loved having a bigger pool than most cabins. We loved a big basement with lots of things to do. The movie theater was awesome. The pool was not very clean nor was the cabin. Which was shocking to us because this was my our third year renting a cabin from them. I was really disappointed with the house not being very clean and I had to clean it myself. I didn’t really want to have somebody in there cleaning it with all our stuff in there. Overall we had a great family vacation! I do have some recommendations for Silvercreek for future guests. We found out the hard way that the floors become EXTREMELY slippery when wet. Both my father and my daughter slipped and fell down the stairs. My father was ok, thankfully but my daughter dislocated her knee and earned herself an ambulance ride and 4 hour stay at the local hospital ER to reset it. I would recommend some doormats to wipe feet when coming in from the decks after using the pool or even when it’s raining outside. There should be warnings that the floors are slippery and shoes should be worn at all times inside the house. I would also recommend somewhere to hand wet swim suits to dry. There were also not enough bath towels for 14 guests. We were out of towels every day and were constantly doing laundry. This was with using our pool towels from home. Maintenance was very responsive and courteous. Everytime I had an issue, they came right out to address it. A/C worked great on all 3 levels of the home, kitchen was sufficiently stocked, kids enjoyed the game room and pool. Overall, this was a wonderful trip!
