Nestled in Colorado, this attractive house for $270 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Custom home built in 2009 on 35 fenced and gated acres. Amazing views of the mountains with one of the best Pike's Peak views around. Total seclusion yet only 1.5 miles to US Hwy 24 on a well maintained County Road. 6.5 miles from Woodland Park, a town of 10,000 which provides several grocery stores and numerous restaurants and services. 30 minutes from Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs with many tourist oriented activities and shopping. Hike the property and additional 25 acres across the road or lounge on one of 2 decks and enjoy the solitude with plenty of visiting wildlife, including the large Elk herd on the adjacent 1200 acre ranch. Bag a “14 er” and climb Pikes Peak, or hike many of the different trails nearby. Close by there is world class fly fishing, mountain biking, unsurpassed Colorado snow skiing and white water rafting. You can also try your luck gambling at the historic Cripple Creek Mining District, a beautiful 20 mile drive. This home has many upgrades including hickory cabinets with granite countertops in the kitchen and both baths, stainless steel appliances, tile and wood floors in living room and kitchen, bedrooms with carpeting, in floor heat, 46” plasma flat screen TV with surround sound (including the deck), Wi-Fi, 2 decks, one covered, and much more. You're certain to have a wonderful and unforgettable Colorado vacation for just the two of you or for the entire family. This property is shared with another vacation rental they reside 750 yards apart and cannot be seen from each other. You can reserve both homes on the property for a larger group. We do keep the driveway well plowed of snow in the winter, however the driveway does have a few ups and downs, so we do recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter and spring months. This was our second time to stay at this mountain home. We enjoyed the hot tub, Fall weather and tress, the views and a less stressful life for a week. We were close to the highway and were able to travel to nearby attractions without any issues.

Wow, wow, wow! This property is the perfect spot to view Pikes Peak in all its spender. Hot tub is so welcoming after a day of hiking. It’s a great “Get away spot” that you will never want to get away from! Highly recommended.

We loved it and are hoping to return in the future! It is beautiful, cozy, and has all the amenities necessary for a family weekend getaway. Plus, it’s quite possibly the best place to recover from the Pikes Peak Ascent. The jacuzzi was absolutely wonderful!

The property was everything it promised. Beautiful scenery, cozy, and away from the crowds. The house was very clean and comfortable and provided all the necessities plus more. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub watching the wildlife and sitting on the porch in the evenings watching beautiful sunsets. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful private house surrounded by trees. It is the most refreshing feeling to sit on the porch and soak in that mountain air, those cool temperatures and see the mountain views. Exactly what we came for.

Beautiful secluded rental with breathtaking views. Had everything we needed to make our vacation to Colorado absolutely perfect! Enjoyed the hot tub, open concept main living area, separate sleeping areas with bathrooms, in floor heat, washer and dryer, and of course the $1 scavenger hunt and assortment of origami shapes;-) Thank you Kyle and the Eicher family for building such a beautiful rental for others to enjoy!

We had a great time staying at Mountain Sun Cabin, the place was even more amazing than we expected. The cabin was furnished and supplied with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The views of the sun shining on Pikes Peak in the mornings were incredible from the cabin.

The pictures do not give the justice this house deserves. A little off the beaten path for the perfect amount of privacy with unbeatable views. Kyle was very easy to communicate with and helped us when we needed it. Thank you for everything.

This property was just what my daughter and I needed for a break from busy lives. It was serene and private and we felt like we were the only ones for miles around. The property itself is very large, so plenty of room to walk/hike around and be in nature. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The bonus for us Texans was seeing snow and having the hot tub. Kyle was super friendly and accommodating. Great stay all around and would most definitely book this place again!

We loved our stay in this cabin! The view is AMAZING! It was close enough to anything we wanted to do but also felt secluded as we wanted too. It was perfect for our family! There is a very small hill right outside the cabin that my toddlers enjoyed tubing down as well. The cabin felt so homey. We had everything we could have needed in the kitchen to prepare daily meals. All around perfect place to stay. Kyle was a great a host and we can't wait to come back!

This was the best rental we have ever stayed in. Those windows! I dream about the view out of those windows and pictures just can't capture the beauty. The cabin is the perfect location - close to Divide if you need to run in and grab something. Not far from Pike’s Peak, Cripple Creek, Garden of the Gods, Manitou dwellings. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Sun Mountain Cabin. Everything you need is there. Plus extras like beach towels, tons of spices in the kitchen, cooler, ice packs,movies, games and robes for the hot tub(although they are not for bigger people lol). The view is spectacular during the day and of the sky at night. The elevation is around 9000 feet so keep that in mind if you have altitude issues. Town is only 10 min away and there is a walmart ti get anything you want or forgot. Kyle is a great host. We would nit hesitate to stay here again or ine if his other properties.
