The Space & Layout
This spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit occupies its own completely private side of a peaceful duplex. You’ll enjoy your own dedicated entrance, private indoor living space, and exclusive access to the massive outdoor deck.
Upstairs Bedroom: Plush King bed with large windows showcasing incredible mountain views.
Downstairs Bedroom: Comfortable Queen bed with cozy mountain charm.
Living & Kitchen: Bright, light-filled layout with Italian leather furniture, a cozy wood stove, a fully stocked kitchen, and new stainless steel appliances.
Dog-Friendly Details
We love welcoming well-behaved dogs to the mountains! To ensure a seamless stay and cover the extra deep-cleaning required between stays, we have the following pet policy:
Pet Fee: $200 non-refundable fee per stay (covers up to 2 dogs). Additional dogs require prior approval.
Yard & Fence: Direct access via an XL dog door into a fenced yard. (Note: Small dogs can fit between the 4” gaps along the deck edge designed for snow removal, so please monitor small pets closely).
Winter Fence Note: Heavy snowpack can build up high enough for dogs to walk over the fence line, requiring leash walks during peak winter months.
Guest Responsibilities: Guests are required to pick up after their pets inside the yard and on the property.
Allergy Notice: As a dog-friendly home, this unit may not be suitable for guests with severe pet allergies.

Note on Sound: The home is set back off Hwy 135 with a natural berm and vegetation buffer. Newly installed insulated windows keep the interior quiet and serene (feel free to check guest reviews regarding interior sound level).
Winter Stay Guidance & Safety
Winter in Crested Butte is pure magic, but mountain conditions require a bit of preparation and flexibility:
Travel & Roads: Driveways and mountain passes (like Monarch Pass) can freeze quickly or close during storms. Flight delays into local airports are common, so flexible travel plans (and trip insurance) are highly recommended.
Snow Removal: We contract with a high-volume plowing service. Plowing schedules vary during big storms (arriving as early as 5 AM or taking extra time to catch up after heavy snowfall). Snow berms may form at the end of the driveway, and you may need to shovel around your vehicle. Please do not block the plow crew.
Property Hazards: Deck access may be restricted during periods of exceptionally heavy snow. Roof snow and ice shed naturally—always watch above when walking near eaves.
Steep Embankment Warning: Do NOT attempt to walk or ski down the steep embankment to the fields below. This area is extremely prone to dangerous avalanches.
