Nestled in Port Hughes, this charming house for $105 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Port Hughes is a seaside town only 2 hours drive from Adelaide. The jetty, boat ramp, beach, tavern, golf course & general store is a 5 minute walk. Great fishing with your own boat or there are many fishing charters available, or catch your own tea from the jetty. The white sandy beaches provide safe swimming and snorkling, you can also enjoy long walks and watch the sunset. The general store has all your basic supplies, take away food, post office, bait, ice etc. There is a tavern next door that provides fantastic views whilst serving great food and beverages. The nearby town of Moonta offers hotels, crafts, antiques, restaurants, service station and shopping. Explore the Moonta Mines, or take a drive to nearby Kadina or Wallaroo. Maybe you would prefer to just relax and enjoy the comforts of what the cottage provides. Property Navigator's Cottage has 3 good sized bedrooms, one with Queen bed, the other two have 2 x double bunks and a Tri bunk (q/s and a single) Blankets and pillows supplied with all beds. Need to bring own linen, towels etc. Large fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Large loungeroom with TV, DVD player and stereo.Large bathroom, separate shower and full size bath,with vanity unit. Separate toilet and a large laundry with automatic washing machine. Own private enclosed pergola area with gas barbeque. This cottage is set amongst tranquil gardens so it is very private if you wish to get away from everything with a good book and bottle of red. Great for fishing trips or large group of people who enjoy holidaying together by combining the Seafarer's cottage with the Navigator's cottage, which can accomodate up to 16 people. Both cottages are on the one property.

Lovely to have a whole house for once, separate bedrooms, quiet, walking distance to hotel and general store. Comfy beds, lovely outdoor area. Host was lovely and friendly. Would recommend and will book again. Thanks Julia

A comment about the process. At least twice i could not access Stayz information about the property. Some kind of computer hitch. The property and host were great, the process at times frustrating.

The place is so homely , someone had stolen a gas bottle and I made contact with the owner and it was replaced within the hour . It has all the cooking stuff you could need for basic cooking. Beds were comfy, heating was excellent. Beach is close, town is close. I will 1000% be using this place instead of the caravan park from now on. Even though my parents live in town , we prefer to get a shack so we can come and go as we please without disrupting them

Lovely clean, spacious, quiet unit with everything you need. Close to The Dunes for our Golf weekend. Walking distance to Tavern for meals. Had a great weekend and will definitely stay here again for our next golf trip.

overall really good will recommend going again, only one down fall dog from the area coming in and urinating on our equipment and dog poos which we picked up as we had young children but besides that enjoyed.

House was perfect for us, clean, neat and tidy and everything you need for a short stay holiday. Air conditioner worked well in the heat. Nice comfy beds. Big bathroom. Great BBQ. Short walk to caravan park, beach and 5 minute drive into Moonta. Great house to bring a dog too with enclosed backyard . Thanks Julia
