This beautiful, first floor, single level, fully furnished home is just steps from La Jolla Shores Beach, Kellogg Park, fabulous restaurants, shops, the world famous La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club, Blacks Beach, and La Jolla Cove. Just a ten minute walk from La Jolla Village and a short drive to Torrey Pines Golf Course, Scripps Institute of Oceanography, Downtown San Diego, PetCo Park, San Diego Bay, Mission Bay, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo. The immaculate interior offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, open and light filled living areas, private back patio, wood flooring, cozy fireplace, and a gourmet kitchen. Elevator and one secured parking space. La Jolla Shores is a beach and popular vacation/residential community of the same name in La Jolla, San Diego, California. The quaint La Jolla Shores business district is a relaxed, mixed-use village encircling Laureate Park, on Avenida de la Playa in the village of La Jolla Shores. The village has several fine dining restaurants as well as plenty of casual dining places, shops, and a few galleries. You can take surf lessons and rent surfboards, boogie boards, paddle boards, and wetsuits from Surf Diva. Kayak, snorkel, and bike tours and rentals are available at San Diego Bike and Kayak. The beach is approximately one mile long and stretches from the sea cliffs just north of La Jolla Cove to Black’s Beach south of Torrey Pines State Park. The Shores meets the Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus and Kellogg Park (with a playground right next to the beach), encompasses the Scripps Pier and borders the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve to the south. The beach is a popular launch point for kayakers and has a swimming area only and a surfing only area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in LaJolla shores with two block beach access and one block to a cute little shopping and dining area. Lots of extras (actually so many that it was difficult to find kitchen space for our own stuff!) Updated bathrooms and nice to have that parking space.

Perfect condo right off the main strip in La Jolla Shores. 1 block to the beach. Quiet, well appointed- great location!

The unit was comfortable but had several ‘flaws’ which surprised us:
1- no kleenex nor shower soap or shampoo
2- fireplace remote didn’t work despite my purchasing new batteries
3- remote driveway gate was very finicky and rarely closed completely so it was often open enough to walk through. Also, it closed on our rental car and scratched the door because it closed too quickly.
4- There were no instructions for the tv’s each of which had 3 remotes(I had to text the owner to figure out how to get them to work).
5- I also initially had difficulty getting the furnace to heat the place which was quite cold when we arrived(also required texting the owner).
6- We found it curious that despite the request to take short showers & conserve water, it took an inordinate amount of time to get warm/hot water from the bathroom faucet & showers which, of course, is a huge waste of water!
Regardless, the place is very well located, nice, comfortable & quiet. There are several good restaurants and coffee shops within a 2-3 block walk, and the beach is very close.

Our family has vacationed in La Jolla Shores many times over the years, and this condo might be our favourite spot yet.
The location is amazing, 2 blocks from the beach and close to shops - but far enough away to not feel busy. The underground parking is incredibly convenient. The condo itself feels light and airy and had enough space for our group of 6 adults + baby to stay comfortably.
The bathrooms and bedrooms have been updated and are fresh and modern, the kitchen is functional but feels a bit tired.
We enjoyed the quiet and private back patio + BBQ as well.
A great spot to stay in our favourite getaway.

Two families from Kansas and Arizona met up for a fun week in La Jolla. The location is perfect. Super close to the beach and walking distance to great restaurants. Centrally located to drive to anywhere within minutes. The property was clean and comfortable. We look forward to staying there again in the future. Thanks for hosting us.

Amazing home with great parking only a minute walk away from the best restaurants, shops and beach. The home is so clean and has everything we needed. Lighting was a bit dim but the living room lighting was amazing. 5/5 stay- I highly recommend

Stayed for a week at this nice and clean 3 bedroom. Great location with lots of amenities in walking distance. Beach is one block. Nice to have secure parking underground parking in this busy area.

We loved our stay—the property was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the location was ideal. We walked everywhere—to La Jolla Cove, to the tide pools, and to nearby restaurants. We can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend this property.

My 20-year-old daughter and I stayed here for four nights in January 2023 after having spent three nights in a downtown San Diego hotel. The home was easy to find and although I was nervous about getting the key out of the key-holder , it was fine. We didn't actually use the garage right away, as street parking was plentiful. Toward the end of the week, things seemed busier so we parked in the garage. I was worried I'd have trouble parking in the assigned spot but even with a small SUV (VW Tiguan), there was no problem. Definitely a plus to have the garage when we needed it. Walking in to the home, you could smell that the house had been recently cleaned and everything was in its place. My daughter and I loved each having our own room and bathroom after having been sharing a hotel room. Based on past reviews, I was worried that things like toilet paper, paper towels, etc. wouldn't be provided, but when I arrived, there was one roll of toilet paper in one of the bathrooms, as well as hand soap. There were laundry detergent pods and dryer sheets for the washer/dryer. The kitchen had paper towels and dish soap and garbage bags. We just had to run to the corner store for toilet paper and tissues, which wasn't a problem at all, since the home is literally right around the corner from the "main street" at La Jolla Shores. (Just be prepared to have to grab a few things when you get there.) This main street has the market, restaurants, coffee shops, bike/kayak rentals, and some retail shops. Around the other corner is a short walk to the beach, which was my favorite part of the home. The beach is beautiful--relatively small, but we saw sunrises and sunsets and did a kayak tour and just walked along the sidewalk, enjoying the palm trees and watching the surfers descend on the beach each morning. Having a washer and dryer was a lifesaver to us, as we didn't want to check bags so brought a minimal wardrobe. We did probably four loads of laundry. We also enjoyed the private patio, which was located off the main bedroom. It was nice to have a place outside to eat. Overall, the house had almost everything I was looking for (separate bedrooms, w/d, parking, outside patio). The only thing that would have made this home better would have been a hot tub, but I guess you can't have it all! I didn't have to contact the owners at all, so can't speak to responsiveness. Overall, I can 100% recommend this VRBO to folks traveling to the beautiful La Jolla area.

Cute neighborhood, good pizza , good bars. Beach is a few minutes walk away. Accommodations were nice, clean, and had everything we needed.

Amazing property and location! A getaway that must be repeated. Steps away to the beach and shops. Spacious with comfortable rooms, access to washer & dryer, nice backyard to relax in. Close proximity to downtown SD if necessary.

We had a very pleasant stay. We could walk to the beach, walk to restaurants. The area is bustling during the day but quiet at night. The condo itself is very modern and super clean.
