Located in Princeville, this charming condo for $140 per night is a great option for your next break. Fully loaded condo with washer/dryer in unit. Great rates. Convenient. SECOND FLOOR WALK UP PARCEL ID/TMK: RP 4-5-4-005-018-0002-000 The entire condo property is smoke free. Smoking is only permitted off of the condo property and then only as long as it is not within twenty (20) feet of a living unit. These are both condo association rules and Hawaii state statutes. They say, "location is everything” and Hale Loli’I is on the corner of Ka Haku Road and Wyllie Road – right in the heart of Princeville. Easy to find, easy to get in and out, and close to everything the north shore has to offer. No matter how you spend your days, whether hiking the many trails, playing a round of golf at one of the exceptional courses, or perhaps just a day at one of the stunning, world-famous beaches, come back to this comfortable well-appointed condo. We provide beach towels, snorkel gear, chairs & umbrella. You’ll also find a cooler & picnic ware. The spectacular beauty of Kauai's North Shore surrounds you at Hale Loli'i. Whether you walk or drive, you are just minutes from fabulous beaches, great golf, hiking, horse back riding, or whatever else your imagination can come up with. And at the end of the day, come back to a home away from home. This second floor walk-up unit has a sleeping area separated by a room divider, a dining area, and a living room area. You don't have to set an alarm here, as there are plenty of birds and perhaps even chickens to get you up and going. Make breakfast in the well appointed kitchenette or if you want, walk over to the Princeville Center and find coffee and pastries at several local eateries, or stock up at the full service grocery store. If sightseeing is on your list, turn left out the driveway, and you are a couple of minutes from the main highway. Take a right and go up to the end of the road. Or a left will take you back east and then south to see the rest of the island. These can be difficult decisions, but whichever way you go, you will not be disappointed. The beauty is island-wide. If you go right, it is ten miles until the end of the road. And a total of ten single lane bridges to navigate. A word on them later. If you go all the way to the end, you will arrive at Ke'e Beach. For me at least, this is perhaps one of the most peaceful and mesmerizing places on earth. If you walk back up the beach about five hundred yards, you will have a view of the Na Pali Cliffs over the water, with mist rising from the ocean caught by the rising sun. You may never want to leave. Between Hale Loli'i and Ke'e Beach, you will pass through Hanalei, and go by some of the great beaches of the world. You may want to save Hanalei until later in your trip as the shops there will give you plenty of souvenir options. Heading east and south, stop in Kilauea and see the lighthouse, Na Aina Kai botanical Gardens, or the Guava Kai Plantation. A half hour drive down Kuhio Highway brings you to Old Kapa'a Town. More beaches, restaurants, and shops. Check out our guide book for suggestions. Further down the road brings Waipouli, Wailua, Lihue, and on to the south shore and Poipu Beach, west to Waimea Canyon and if you are adventurous up to Polihale State Park. At the end of the day, you can either eat in - perhaps take something down to the poolside grill - even prepare simple meals utilizing the two burner hot plate and full size microwave oven - eat in the dining area that accommodates two comfortably. Or, if you are too tired to cook yourself, perhaps you will want to go out and enjoy any of the great restaurants nearby. Later you can put your feet up in a comfortable recliner or stretch out on an equally comfy couch, and enjoy a wide assortment of channels on the HD television, or pick something from Netflix or rent a movie and put it in the blu-ray player. High speed internet is available to check your emails, surf the web, or stream your favorite music. There are books, board games & cards as well - for the occasional liquid sunshine days. There is also a coffee maker, teapot, toaster, insta-pot and blender, as well as plenty of dishes and eating utensils. Last but not least, a separate counter-top ice maker is provided for those frosty tropical libations. ENJOY.

Nice unit in small complex. Had everything we needed even a cute little ice maker. The unit is right on the main road into Princeville so there is traffic noise. I think if it had an air conditioner you wouldn't have to have all the widows open and it would be a lot quieter. The loft is too hot for anyone to sleep comfortably and the stairs are pretty steep. The pool is unique, completely tiled and heated. We used it everyday.

My friends and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time! It’s close to many of the attractions on the North side of the island. The place itself was super clean and came with all the necessary items — including a washer and dryer, beach towels, boogie boards, and Netflix on the TV. What more to want?? Overall 10/10 stay.

We had a wonderful time in Kauai and loved staying at the condo. It was well stocked and met our needs perfectly. The basket of treats was a nice touch and supplemented our on-the-go picnic lunches quite nicely! We'd definitely stay here again!

Very cute condo, perfect for a family of four. The washer/dryer inside the condo is a major plus. As far as booking our stay, I got an instant response. Overall, no complaints and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the basket of treats!!

We had a lovely stay here. The location is a short drive to beautiful beaches. Some were for surfing and others for snorkeling. My two teenagers could walk to get groceries or food/ icecream at local restaurants. There was a nice park to workout in in the morning. Our hosts provided everything we needed and more...from towels to beach towels, games, books, a boogie board and wonderful snacks. We especiallyloved the ice machine. Note: the loft was a bit too warm despite the fans.. it was a great stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The condo is well equipped and affordable. The host replied quickly to any questions we had and always tried to accommodate any requests we had to the best of their ability. The only complaint I would say we had was there is a decent amount of road noise. That is not the hosts fault though, just the fact that the condo is located right off the road through a fairly busy neighborhood. But everything shuts down pretty early in Kauai so it wasn’t usually an issue at bedtime. Definitely recommend this spot!

We live on Maui and wanted to visit friends from Kauai and some friends coming from the mainland. It worked well as our friends we’re staying up the road in Princeville. The property was nice and the pool very clean and quiet. FYI though the condo does back up to the main road and there is a lot of traffic in the early mornings for commuters. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs we did.

Place was bright and airy. Kitchen well-equipped (loved the ice-maker). Everything very comfortable. Great TV. Just a few steps to pool which is sunny all day. Only downside was the traffic noise. Stormy weather left pavement wet and puddled which I think made the noise more noticeable. All in all, very enjoyable experience. Thanks!

Our hosts were absolute legends, they answered so quickly anytime we had any questions. They even let us come back after checkout because we realized we had forgotten something.
The unit itself, for kids under 5, not ideal. We had a 4 year old and 1 year old with us. The sunken living room and the loft was a bit of a hazard. However it is very clearly marked on the listing that the loft is steep and not for kids. My parents who are in their 60s also didn’t feel comfortable using the loft.
The washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus! We were very grateful to have such easy access to cleaning our bedding and clothes etc. We also really appreciated having a dishwasher, ice machine and Instapot in the unit for us to use.
The street is quite noisy and many of the screens on the windows weren’t completely sealed which did result in a few unwanted mosquitoes around bedtime.
We REALLY appreciated the park, which was walking distance from the unit. The pool was a tad cold, but as the weather got warmer was doable. The loft did get warm during the heat of the day without having A/C but also cooled off overnight.
Overall, we would definitely recommend the place to family and friends and would definitely stay here again!

The apartment had two floors, a very well equipped kitchen, and a wonderful location being only a 10 min walk away from a beautiful quiet beach. Shopping is close by as are the hiking trails in the north.

Owners were great to deal with. We ran into a few snags but they were very responsive and helpful.
Kitchen was fully equipped and outdoor activity supplies were there and ready to use. Great to have a reserved parking space as well. Walking distance to a beach, market area snd easy to get onto the road to drive to other towns.

This property was absolutely perfect for our girls trip, loved the area it felt like home we wereable to walk to grocery store and a couple of restaurants wishwe could have stayed sooo much longer. The owners were very prompt in their communication and we couldn't have asked fot a more perfect trip!!! Maholo nui!! Will definitely hope to come back and stay with you again.

Michael and Leslie have made this vrbo a lovely space. It was spacious and had everything I needed. It was so nice to have the cooking basics (oil, spices, coffee, tea) on hand. Other things like snorkel gear, boogie board and beach towels and chairs were appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.

I was truly impressed with the condo but even more so of the hosts Mike and Leslie. They have really gone out of their way to make sure that your time at their property is special. Response time was so quick from them. Very nice and understanding people. The unit was immaculate and they thought of everything. There was nothing lacking at all. Loved the basket of snacks in the kitchen. I took advantage of these!

First, the communication was excellent from day one and continued throughout the stay. The welcome basket was a sweet touch. The journals with other guest notes and recommendations was unique. Our teenage boys appreciated the snorkeling gear, boogie boards, and sand toys. They got to live out their toddler years. The condo had everything we needed and was cozy. A beautiful vacation connecting with family. We'd definitely return!

Communication was great from day one. We got a lot of information when we made the booking and we’re updated, as needed, along the way (ex. There was some road closures while we were there and we were informed beforehand). We are low maintenance travelers who make due with whatever we are able to get and look for places that we can pay less for since we don’t need much. This place, however, really did have everything you could need. Often times a “fully stocked” kitchen is far from that but that wasn’t the case here. There was also a ton of gear for the beach. The place itself is a bit on the older side but, again, it has everything you need and everything works. Bonus to have a designated parking spot so close to the unit. It’s a gem!

This place was a wonderful spot to stay for the week. It had everything we needed to cook and relax, and we also took advantage of the pool. The hosts left a sweet snack box and had a book of helpful info for our stay. I definitely recommend for a couple or family. The location was also good for us as it was only 10 min walk to restaurants, grocery and the bus.

A lovely Kauai getaway. Mike and Leslie think of everything. From snorkel gear to boogie boards, fins, gift basket with Hawaiian chocolates, popcorn and more this place is top notch. There's a pool a BBQ and it's close to all that the north shore has to offer.

It was a very peaceful area and place, I would definitely go again! There was a lot of traffic noise during the day but that won't stop you as you are more than likely at the beach. The owners were very communicative and answered all my questions and even let us check in early. If I had one complaint it would be I wish it were darker at night (black-out curtains, but then that would hinder air flow as there is no ac). We loved this side of the island tons better than south! Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

It’s one of the best deals you’re going to find in pricey Princeville, it has an attractive interior, it is well equipped for cooking, is located in a nice, tropical complex with a pool, just a minute from shopping and groceries, and only 6 minutes to Hanalei Bay.
You’ll wake up to an amazing chorus of bird song at dawn, and enjoy the afternoon breeze and sunlight filtering through the unit. The hosts provide sand chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and a cooler at no extra charge, which was a real help, and there was a fun goodie basket to greet us as well.
The hosts are amazingly responsive and easy to communicate with - just a pleasure to interact with.
(It’s worth noting for the sound sensitive or light sleepers that the condo is adjacent to the main Princeville feeder road, and the traffic is continual and loud during the day, but if you’re at the beach it doesn’t matter! Also, the loft stairs are steep enough that only older children and able bodied adults should navigate them. I think their rate acknowledges this, otherwise they could easily charge more).
