Lovely cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. It was well stocked with extra TP and paper towels and toiletries - much appreciated! Well stocked kitchen, new appliances :) and COFFEE!! Outdoor firepit where we made S'mores and so close to the village for a pizza run! Nice and clean, and I am very picky! Great communication with Jon :) Our kids and grandkids (age 3 to 10) had a great time!
My only suggestion would maybe be a wall rack behind the front door to hang up coats.
We would definitely return.

Cabin is in ideal location with beautiful views! Easy walk to Lake Arrowhead Village for margaritas at Papagayos and groceries at Stater Bros. Kitchen is well equipped and we spent a lot of time on the deck around the fire pit and used the bbq grill for steaks.
Jon provided excellent communication with all the details needed for our stay. Our group had a great time and would definitely stay at one of his properties again.

Beautifully appointed, cozy cabin. Beds & bedding superb. Great coffee assortment. One issue - which John ( owner) took care of immediately. Parking very tight, area should be re-paved as there are a couple of pot holes. Interior stairs pretty treacherous for small children & seniors. All in all a beautiful place!

My mom and I rented this cabin for a week in September. The location is great - very easy to get into the Village and surrounding areas. The home was very clean and the kitchen was nicely appointed. The bedrooms are not very large but the beds are very comfortable. Great people to deal with.

Everything was in order, the dishes were attractive as well as the pots and pans, the kitchen was a bit small but easy to maneuver. The cabin was furnished very nicely, which is something else very important to me..I just don’t like furnishings from every family members house. This cabin was staged well. We spent every morning having coffee on the deck, so peaceful and quiet.. great family together time.

Six friends from high school celebrating our milestone birthday year. This house exceeded expectations in every way. Tons of space on three levels with three gorgeous decks with views. Kitchen had everything we needed and was well equipped. Bathrooms were beautiful. Can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t right. You will not be disappointed. Had to reach out to Jon and he was very responsive and helpful. Honestly this property had it all. I shall return! And soon I hope. Thanks Jon!!!!

It was an experience , very cozy place,
walking distance to the lake arrowhead village. We are so glad we are able to see the snow. Owner is very nice to help us to get settle and get our parking space plowed.

The host is not replying to any messages and after me contacting Vrbo upon my return 4 days later he says its too late. Stay away from this property. There are tons of nice homes for this high price.

Great house! Beautiful stone fireplace. Comfortable beds and sofa. Ample parking. Large deck with fire pit and great views of lake and trees. A short walk to the village. It was a great location!!

Nice location and close to the village and the lake. Enjoyed the home. The cooling system is a little off; too cold downstairs great on the main floor and doesn't really work upstairs. Nonetheless, the outside weather was so nice that it didn't really bother us. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
Jon was very helpful when needed assistance.

This is a very well cared for house, with well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We stayed on days that reached the mid 80's, so AC definitely needed. We were not really familiar with Lake Arrowhead, so did not know that although you can see it, and walk to it in five minutes, you cannot swim or boat on it. It is completely private. To swim or boat is to drive 20 minutes to Lake Gregory, which although enjoyable, is not as pretty as Arrowhead. Also, a word to the wise on hot summer days.. the master bedroom is basically in the attic, and never was cool enough to sleep comfortably. The temperature only went down to 65 (outside) at night, and the upper level was extremely warm, while the lower level bedrooms were a cool 62 deg (with AC on main floor set at 70). In cooler weather, we would have enjoyed our stay more.

Wonderful property for our family trip
We stayed at this wonderful property with our adult kids, their significant others, and our 16 mo old grandson for five nights in June. We would DEFINITELY rent again! The house has a lovely view through the trees of the lake and is in a very nice, quiet area. It is also walking distance to the Village. It is very nicely decorated and accomodated our group of eight beautifully. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms accomdating (could use more washcloths - could only find one). Kitchen had what we needed (could use some potholders) and it was nice to have the washer/dryer, too. Deck was the best part - LOVED the gas firepit and seating and the table for outdoor dining! A couple of things to be aware of — there’s a section of the parking area concrete that was cut and had a hole anout 1 1/2 feet deep. We almost drove into it on arrival and that could have been a problem (on right side of parking area). Stairways inside are steep and tight so watch your footing. Trash was an issue with such a large group over five days - you can’t use the outdoor trash cans due to critters. The manager told us at the end of our stay that they have a trash pick up service. This is not in the instructions or house instructions and would have been nice to know. We texted the manager about the trash situation asking what trash day was, but he never responded. Overall, a wonderful stay at a great property!

When we opened the door it was a lot smaller and darker than the photos. Initially it smelled clean in there, but as I walked over by the area rug I smelled urine. We walked downstairs and the smell of urine on the carpets was beyond overwhelming. Yes, my sense of smell is better than most, but my friend smelled it too. If I had a black light I guarantee there would be urine everywhere as dogs are aloud here. Once one dog pees, others will mark. I know the smell of dog urine. I am a dog trainer as well. I don’t know how the cleaners don’t smell that. It was awful.
I text the property owner that the smell of urine was nauseating and he actually got extremely defensive and said the property has been cleaned thoroughly and he can have someone come to see if they smell it. What good would that do? He then said if it makes us so sick then he wants us out of there because he doesn’t want anyone staying in his property if they feel that way. He offered to refund us, but I didn’t appreciate his attitude. All I was thinking was where the heck are we supposed to go? I then found myself saying we will just deal with it. Luckily I had the master upstairs. My friend ended up sharing that room with me which I didn’t love, but the smell of urine made her sick too.

The stair railing is wobbly and the wood is all scraped off. The master shower fills with water as you’re showering. The walls have paint that is scraped off, the wood flooring is all messed up, the doors have paint scraped off. There are cobwebs on all of the lights. The plug outlets are dirty. I have pictures and videos of all of this. I will find a way to upload them.
