About this house rental
Located in Bellevue, this charming house for $108 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. "More Than a Room" guest house is located a 1/2 block from the Mississippi River in the heart of Bellevue, Iowa. The house is walking distance from downtown restaurants and night life. Walk the beautiful Bellevue River front or up to the lookout at Bellevue State park. Easy access to the snow mobile and ATV / UTV trails. This 1960's built ranch home has some of it's original charm. The house is comfortable and well suited for family groups, girls weekends, wedding quests, boaters or a couples get-away. The house sleeps up to six people. The front and back bedrooms each have one king size bed that can be separated into two twin beds. The living room sofa converts to a queen sofa sleeper. Off street parking will accommodate two cars. The dine-in kitchen is well equipped. Thef, deck furniture, a charcoal grill, bedding and towels. Pets are welcome. Must be crated when allow and not allowed on furniture. There is a baby gate that can be used to keep them in the kitchen. Pet owner must pick up after their pets.

Loved the house had everthing we needed.Only complaint was the living room blinds wouldn't open for more light.Great location.

Well kept and clean, this house was super close to a riverview park, as well as the quaint downtown area. A beautiful state park was 5 minutes up the road. We had our dog along with us, and she enjoyed many long walks throughout the area. We would love to return in the future.

It is a minute walk to the river where you could sit and watch the birds fly around. Would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

This house was perfect for our family of 7 to take a quick weekend trip before school started. The kids loved being able to walk to the river and watch the barges. Stopping by the little shops along the main street and going bowling was one of our favorite things. Was an hour from the Field of Dreams and not far from the Maquoketa caves, which were both on our to-dos for the trip!

Cute home in a great neighborhood! Very scenic along the Mississippi River. I was traveling with dog and felt very safe walking him through town. The bed was great! House was clean and tidy.

We loved the location of this property. It was very easy to find and very clean. I did notice a lack of basic necessities like sugar in the cupboard but there was plenty of salt and pepper. Overall a perfect place to stay for a short or long trip to the area.

Nice little home, basement area really nice. Quiet neighborhood. Great supply of towels. Only negative is the dining room table is wobbley and tilts badly. We only had 1 1/2 roll of toilet paper. Could not locate more. Would rent again. Thank you.

Half block from the Mississippi. The mile-long park along the river is great for walking and taking in the sights. Lori was VERY responsive and nice. Had a great time. River flooding from the heavy snow melt was no issue.

It's easy access to Dubuque/ Galena. The owners have even remodeled the downstairs for extra living space, which was helpful with teenagers.

About 3 hour drive worth it.. Perfect..
Found this property on line. Perfect fit for what we were looking for. Wanting to go somewhere along the river. 1/2 block walk to sit along river by the lock and dam. Good entertainment watching . Everything short walking distance to area shops and restaurants. Close to other areas to visit but if you want peace and quiet this is the place. Property very well upkept and clean. Very much hope to return again. Thank You..

There's No Place Like Home!
This property and the owners are stellar - comfortable, extremely clean surroundings with a prime location. How fun to sit on the porch and watch a barge go by, or see a train roll through town! The owners are very accessible, friendly, and you can tell they truly care that you have a good stay!

Cozy house near the river
I enjoyed my stay in this comfy house--it even had a view of the Mississippi River from the front deck (and bathroom window). It was clean and comfortable, and the host was friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the cable TV the first night (it turned out that the cable company was having a problem), and Lori responded right away. I was on a working vacation and appreciated the fiber optic Internet . I would happily recommend this cozy house near the river.

More than a room is perfect. Was fun to walk in to Christmas tree all lit up! Clean and everything you’ll need for your stay. Beds are really comfy too. Lori is accommodating and goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. Highly recommend if you’re in the Bellevue area

Riverfront Bellevue
Great spot on the riverfront in downtown Bellevue. Wish we could have seen more of the surroundings but we were hunting during the day. Enjoyed a great dinner at the Potters Mill.

This was the perfect retreat spot for my husband and I to meet up with his mom. Cute, quaint, easy to navigate. We loved the house and the town. The only thing we would suggest is to consider adding a grab bar in the shower. That would help with accessibility. But still... 5/5 only because the app won't let us give 6/5.
