Situated in Flathead Lake, this lovely cabin for $368 per night is a great option for your next break. Sometimes you just need a break from the onslaught of work and stress - why not share one with your family near the gorgeous shores of Montana's Flathead Lake? This lovely cabin will put you far, far away from your worries, while still allowing you to enjoy modern comforts and nearby activities like skiing, swimming, and more! And you can even bring your beloved canine family member with you, too! Less than two miles west of the town of Lakeside, you're just moments away from quaint businesses like Tamarack Brewing Company and Blacktail Family Goods. Despite your close proximity to town - and the nearby shores of the lake - your cabin feels nice and peaceful, surrounded by swaying pines that stretch far into the horizon. Breathe in the mountain air as you admire the nature around you, before stepping inside from the deck to unwind. Floor-to-ceiling log-style woodwork, combined with rich leather furnishings and the warmth of the stone fireplace, create the atmosphere of a welcoming ski lodge. Take a seat on the couch or a nearby armchair and use the internet to upload photos of the incredible views. If wintertime weather is too chilly, snuggle up with your loved ones by the fireplace and take in satellite programming on the flatscreen TV. When you're ready to turn fresh-bought ingredients into hearty meals, the kitchen will serve you well. Plenty of counter space, along with stainless steel appliances, make cooking fun! Treat the kids to some snacks at the breakfast bar seating for four, before taking a seat at the nearby dining table for six to savor the main course. There's even a woodstove nearby to keep you nice and toasty! Leave cleanup to the dishwasher and head off to bed. Two bedrooms and a loft upstairs, sleep a total of six guests (two dogs are invited to come along for a small nightly fee). Couples can enjoy either of two bedrooms. Or head upstairs to catch a good night's sleep in main-style loft's bed - there's even a private upstairs balcony. Bed choices include two queens and a king, meanwhile, kids can have the sofabed. Freshen up with a shower in either of the two baths and get ready to head out! The Flathead Lake area is fantastic no matter what time of year you choose to visit. Summertime guests can head east to the lake itself, where swimming, fishing, and just relaxing at the shore await. Wintertime guests, meanwhile, can venture 12 miles westward towards Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. Spend your mornings and afternoons skiing and snowboarding down incredible pristine slopes, before heading back home to warm up in the evenings. Other nearby attractions include Volunteer Park in Lakeside and Westshore State Park, six miles south of Lakeside (fee required). Save your dates and secure an incredible vacation for yourself and your loved ones! Please note that firewood is not provided. This property is managed by Terah M. Young of Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Montana LLC, license #RRE-RPM-LIC-98846 If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. This is an absolutely beautiful cabin in a perfect little town in Montana. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to go to Montana! I also love that you can hear the creek running down the hillside when your enjoying your morning coffee outside.

Great location and very clean. The cabin worked really well for us. Had some issues with door lock that were never really fixed, but the maintenance team was on it and very responsive.

This place is perfect!
As they stated, the Internet is not reliable. Neither is the Dish Network. Don't plan on streaming services. Download content before you come, or bring your own DVDs.
The grill needs some work to be serviceable, also could not figure out the thermostat, but everything else was great!
The Lakeside Grocery store has less expensive firewood than Sliters.
We enjoyed the serenity of the place, the fireplace, the porch, the view, the gurgling brook. Perfect. We would definitely come back here!

This was a wonderful retreat. Easy to find and convenient to Lakeside, but still felt remote and isolated. Very peaceful with all the modern amenities (except wifi).

What's better than a cozy log cabin in the woods in the Fall? We loved it, everything we needed was available to us. Very nice after a long day to return to such a serene spot to cook a nice meal. The cabin provided so much, great appliances, cookware...thank you!

Nice location, poor response to an issue at the cabin. VACASA did not repair a tub spout that blew off the first floor tub/shower combo almost injuring our guest. This happened on a Wednesday morning and we left this morning, Saturday with no response. There are more issues that we had but we do not have the space to list them all. If you are interested in more detail, we will be glad to send it to you. We request compensation for the poor service we received. Please give us a call at 614-530-4973 if you want more info or I can email you a two page summary of our issues.

This property was everything we hoped it would be and more. The loft was fantastic with the bathroom and comfortable bed, the kitchen area and living area large enough for all of us to gather for a meal. Everything was spotless! Can't wait to come back

You feel very private and secluded in this very well appointed cabin, but you are also within 10 minutes of everything you need, including very good restaurants, in Lakeside. Couldn't ask for more.

The experience with Vacasa was very positive. They have excellent response time when questioned and went out of their way to provide my family with what was needed for our vacation rental.

This fit our purpose very well. The beds are comfortable, the towels are thick and fluffy, the setting is woodsy with plenty of privacy. The kitchen is well equipped for simple meals. There is plenty of seating inside and out. A short walk takes you to a babbling brook.

Lovely spot away from the chaos of fhe valley but still so close to everything needed. Wifi is rural wifi so not hyperspeed but it got the job done. Clean and beautiful. Even got a sunrise from the loft bed!

My family of 5 loved this open floor plan cabin. Plenty of room for all of us and gave us the true cabin feel we were looking for to enjoy our weekend at Blacktail Mountain Resort!

Overall this is a beautiful and comfortable cabin. We particularly loved having a fire in the fireplace while playing games in the living room. Our main issue was with a broken dishwasher and terrible communication with Vacasa, the property management company. They have a note right in the counter that says to call immediately if anything is broken. When we arrived and opened the dishwasher there was standing water in the bottom of it that smelled terribly. This should have been caught and fixed by cleaning crew before we arrived. But I followed instructions and called Vacasa immediately. I then spent 30 minutes on hold. I then tried the texting and didn’t hear back for several hours. This is not how I want to start a vacation and especially when I’m paying over $900 for a two night stay. I much prefer properties where communication with directly with a local host.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing, winter weekend getaway and this home provided exactly that. It was very clean and nicely kept, with a large-enough kitchen that had all the tools we needed to cook. The beds were very comfortable and the TWO fireplaces kept us cozy. It's quite scenic and very serene; I had fun exploring the short paths through the woods around the property.

This cabin was very cozy and had comfortable bedding and lots of essentials to make breakfast and dinner! The fireplace was a nice addition And we definitely used it because it was cold and rainy!! It would be helpful to have a rug inside both doors because it was very rainy and wet and we threw one of our own towels down so that mud did not get all over the floors. There were also a few light bulbs out and the couple that stayed in the main bedroom had no instructions on how to get the DIRECTV to work. The beetles that were mentioned in other posts were found upstairs in the loft. A few of them even in the bed. Not sure if using a professional exterminator would help? Even with those issues we would still stay again.

This cabin is beautiful and has a perfect location. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the true "log cabin" feel. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean upon arrival. It's evident that Vacasa sprays for bugs around the cabin, as we noticed dead bugs appearing inside after we got there. We had a 4 night stay, and by the end of it, the loft was peppered with tons of little black bugs (carpet beetles?) all over the floor, especially by the patio door. They looked like mouse droppings until we saw one move. Unsure if we are wrong and it was mice, but there were so many in just a few days, and some even appearing on the bedside table and in the bed. My in-laws slept in the loft and they have lived in the country for many years, so it didn't bother them too much, but I could see this being an issue for other folks. No bugs/droppings noted in the main floor bedrooms. All in all, we loved staying here. It's nice and quiet, feels secluded even though you're only a 5 minute drive from Lakeside. Grocery store, gas station, and Tamarack Brewery all very close. Would recommend this cabin, just be wary if you're squeamish of bugs!

Wifi was a little slow, but hey, it's MT after all :) We thoroughly enjoyed to secluded location and comfort of the cabin. Could easily live in one just like it. Only thing missing was an outdoor fire pit, but I could understand if the potential of a wildfire is too great.

We spent a weekend with our family at this cabin near Blacktail and went skiing. It was a very cute and homey cabin and was perfect for our family of 6. Everything was great and as expected from the listing, cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. The only downside was the early 10am checkout time. We’d consider staying here again for a ski weekend.
