Very peaceful

My sister, our dog, and I enjoyed staying in the cottage and still being close to relatives staying in a condo in Gulf Shores.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores but close enough to go for a day at the beach. We loved the seafood restaurant less than a mile away. It was also very close to fresh seafood markets on the river. The owner was welcoming and kind as well.

We had never been to the Gulf Coast and decided it would be fun to take a week to travel and break up our long winter! It was an awesome trip with so much to see and do,

Peaceful, quiet, respectful, friendly, great weather, just what we needed!

Very clean. Nice little cabin. Bed was pretty uncomfortable (could just be me) but overall nice stay.

In addition to the cottage just down the road you have access to a very nice dock and crab traps to use. The owner is a very nice guy and everyone around the area are just plain nice people

Phil is awesome!! He is so easy to work with! One thing for sure, he keeps his cottages immaculate. If you want a quaint and clean place to stay this is it. It has everything you need, great location and the river is just around the corner if you want to fish. This was our second stay and l am working on the third stay in November. If we did not have several doctors appointments in November we would stay the whole month. This place is truly a piece of Heaven.

I loved this little cottage. It was perfect! I will stay here again if I am ever in this area.

I stayed here with my two dogs for a week. Checking in and out was a breeze. The cottage was so cute and just what I needed. The thoughtful touches including the folder with dog-friendly recommendations and all the little extras you might forget to bring yourself were provided and appreciated.

Phil was a great host. More than accommodating.

If you're looking for a quiet and cozy place to vacation away from the hustle and bustle, but be a short drive from all the fun that Gulf Shore has to offer, this is the place to stay.

Was a great place to stay. Would definitely stay there again. I did think pet fee was a little pricey.

We love staying in the cottages when we visit the area. We enjoy driving down to the beach during the days and heading back to the cottage for quite evenings away from the crowds. Phil is a wonderful host.

If you are looking for a relaxing get-away, this is your place! My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at this adorable cottage. It is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood with the Bon Secour River just around the corner and just a short drive from all the "action" (amusement parks, beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc.) Close to two awesome fresh seafood markets and a wonderful pier to watch sunsets. Phil Turner is definitely the MOST SUPER of hosts-so very friendly and accomodating ! This lovely cottage was well-supplied with everything one should need. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this charming area and plan to return again and again !!! Thank you Mr. Turner for a wonderful stay !! Juanita and Kevin Kreamer

This was our first time to stay in Alabama and visit the beaches and I could not have been happier about staying in these cottages. It really felt like a home away from home in a lovely neighborhood. I was very impressed.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was very clean and neat when we arrived. Phil, the owner, made us feel welcome and right at home. This cottage is close enough to Gulf Shores to enjoy the beach and restaurants, and yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet without any crowds and constant activity. We would certainly stay here again.
