About this house rental
Nestled in Woodland Park, this charming house for $385 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This is a 5 Bedroom, 3 bath home on 1/2 acre in beautiful Woodland Park, CO. There is plenty of parking for at least 3 cars side by side and more if double parked. The yard is fully fenced and has a deck with a table that seats 6, (extra seating is available), a large Weber propane BBQ, a basket ball hoop, a volley ball/ badminton area and a young children's playset that includes swings and a slide and a hot tub that seats 8 for the entire family to enjoy the beautiful wooded surroundings. We do have a NO PETS, NO EXCEPTIONS policy. Please do not bring pets, several of our children and grand children are very allergic and your deposit will be forfeited should you ignore the no pet rule. *The home does NOT have air conditioning. It is usually not an issue except on the warmest of days because the house has a lot of shade from trees and there are celling fans in 4 of the bedrooms, the kitchen and the family room. There are 2 other large stand alone fans available to place where desired when and if ever needed. The basement is a large gathering place and is always cool. There is a pellet stove in the basement for DECORATION only! Feel free to adjust the thermostat to what ever temperature is desired during your stay. Security System: We have a security system that has camera's at each entry way to the home, the front door (a security doorbell), the back door (a security doorbell) and a set of French doors from the backyard to one of the bedrooms (a camera on the back of the house). A security code will be provided to you that disarms the system. There is audio capability with the 2 doorbells but not the camera at the French doors. The security system is primarily to ensure the security of the home during vacant periods. You can feel free to use it or not use it to secure the home and your belongings during your stay. The security camera on the back of the house is only to monitor access to the house at the glass French door. This camera may could be triggered to record activity in the area between the French doors and the hot tub depending on the size of the person and how close they are to the camera. This rarely occurs but to ensure you have complete privacy in the hot tub please be sure to use the hot tub cover lift as instructed in the house rules and the house book to take the hot tub cover up and off the hot tub. This creates a "wall" between the hot tub and the security camera and also provides privacy from the neighbor on that side of the property.

This house was great for our group of ATV-ers! Plenty of room, very well-stocked, plenty of space for our trailers, terrific backyard including hot tub. I can't say enough good things about this rental! You'll love it, too!

Had an issue with the lock when we first got there but was able to communicate with the owner. She was great and helped us get in with no problem. The house and location was perfect for what we needed. The mule deer were out every morning while we were there.

This home, on a very nice sized lot, was perfect for our family of 13. The kitchen is organized and fully stocked. There were towels enough for everyone and the bathrooms had all the extras. The new swing set was very nice but now that the youngsters can all ride their bikes they enjoyed riding on the off street asphalt driveway along with playing basketball and soccer. There were plenty of balls and games available for the children. The large grill was appreciated along with the nice deck and family sized hot tub. We stayed at this home 2 years ago and looked forward to our return. However we did not feel the house was as clean as it was our first stay. The kitchen cupboard doors and bathroom cabinets could benefit from a good wipe down. The bathroom vent needs a good cleaning. Socks and meds were found under several beds and popcorn under the end table in the main room. The trundle bed was minus a sheet. The tray below the kitchen trash bin could benefit from a good cleaning also. We loved seeing the deer coming into the yard. We would love to return to this home and know that a good spring cleaning would return it to a 5 star status like it was on our first stay.

This house was perfect for the week! The yard was huge for the three young children which was a big selling point. Location was excellent. The house itself was very comfortable. The deer were friendly too. Highly recommend this house. Owners very communicative.

This was a great vacation home for our visit to the Colorado Springs area! There were seven family members and plenty of room for all to enjoy. My grandchildren enjoyed the deer in the yard and we all loved the hot tub after a day of rafting, hiking, visiting the zoo, etc. The owner was wonderful and was excellent when I needed to communicate with her!!! Another plus was that the eleven and fourteen year olds got their own beds! It was well equipped and I would highly recommend this VRBO!

The house was perfect for our family of 10. It was clean, easy to get to, and suited our needs wonderfully. The area is beautiful and close to many nearby activities. We would definitely stay here again.

The home is definitely older than the pictures let on, but it met our needs. We did have some issues with not enough sheets for the trundle bed and one of the fulls had to get stripped so we could use the sheets.
Some of the towels were very worn. The mattress protector on one of the beds had tons of stains.
Overall, the home was clean and we figured out the issues on our own. I’m sure the host would’ve been able to help out if we asked though.

Our stay was terrific. We arrived the day after a big surpise May snowfall to a wide-plowed driveway and clear walkway into the home. Several drieways near-by were still snowpacked. The kitchen was lovely and surprisingly had many basic products in the pantry and refrigerator. The bedrooms were either up or down stairs. The neighborhood was quiet. A perfect location to getaway and have easy access to roads to local smalltowns or drive up Pikes Peak! This home was perfect for a multi-age family giving everyone their own rooms. Property owners were very considerate. Recommend this home.

The area this cabin is located is gorgeous! The cabin itself is comfortable. Would’ve liked it to be quite a bit cleaner as we were traveling with an infant.

We live in WP and rented this for family coming for the wedding. They raved about it and two of the couples stated they were the most comfortable mattresses they had EVER slept on. (Would love to know the brand). They took advantage of the hot tub and our grandkids loved the playset. Great location, well stocked with necessities, and super clean. Also has a security system if you are in to that. We live here so felt it was unnecessary. Highly recommend!!!

Nice quiet neighborhood away from big cities but still close enough to everything we wanted to do and see. Enjoyed our stay. Property owners/managers respond quickly to issues. For example, furnace was not working when we showed up but was fixed within hours of contacting owners. Thank you.

We had a great time for the second year in beautiful Woodland Park relaxing with our USAFA cadet. The house was perfect to host large dinners for our family and our son’s sponsor family. We enjoyed the large kitchen, outdoor deck and dining, and the hot tub. The house was well equipped with everything we needed until we could get to the store and help restock some items such as paper goods and coffee. This rental was perfect for our family and we will definitely be back!

We loved the house, very spacious and comfy. Lots of entertainment onsite with lots of TVs, games, basketball, VB, hot tub, playground. We saw a LOT of deer so that was fun. Great place to stay with family and friends!

Property had everything we needed for our stay and was close to restaurants, gas, groceries! The little kids enjoyed the playground and the older ones enjoyed the basketball goal. Kitchen was well supplied as were the bathrooms (had extras like bandaids and medicine). Had deer visit a couple of days in the yard and we enjoyed sitting on the porch swing in the evenings!

This property had everything we could need and more! So many sleeping options, plenty of bathrooms, and the location was great for traveling around the area! We loved the playset, hot tub, and a baby deer was even born in the backyard!

Property is incredible. Super clean and very well stocked. Neighborhood really nice, great bird watching and deers around. People were very friendly. Easy to get to grocery store and Walmart. Denise is a fantastic host and was extremely prompt with communications. Highly recommend and would stay here again. Accommodations helped make an incredible experience at the Academy even more so!

Nice Getaway
All the family had their own room which was nice. All the things we needed were there. I wish the playground was still there for the kids but they had other things to do so it wasn’t bad. The location was great and the deers really do visit
