Nestled in Lake Ariel, this attractive house for $276 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Truly unique, four bedroom, two bathroom Pocono vacation home in a year-round lake, ski, and golf community. There is so much to do here and the house is secluded enough where you can really relax and unwind. Our home has a great room with floor to ceiling windows, vaulted ceilings, and one of the best rounded fireplaces around. The house really fits the part of being in the Poconos! Our home is furnished in a tasteful modern and rustic style with antique pieces. There are many new furnishings including beds, mattresses, linens, lighting, rugs, and kitchenware. Rest easy with sleeping for 12 including a crib. The master suite has a balcony that has wonderful wooded views. It is a great place for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The bunk room is an excellent place for kids with 2 bunk beds to sleep 5 (3 twin 1 full). The other two bedroom are nothing shy of cozy, comfortable, and clean. The home is a smart house with WiFi. Smart doorbell and camera system and smart thermostats to be sure the house is warm for your arrival during the winter. There are no cameras inside the home. Relax in the loft with a TV, video game set-up and library of poplar books and DVDs. We also have children's books and toys and a closet filled with board games. We also have a portable ping pong net and paddles for play right in the main room. Assorted “unplugged” games like a ring toss and brain teasers are also in the main room. The dining table will seat the whole family. The kids even have their own dining space with 4 chairs. A booster seat is available for the tiny diners. Let's talk about indoor/outdoor living...Off of the great room are a few sets of sliding doors that open up to an expansive back deck with a hammock and wooded views. The deck spans the whole back of the home. It is kid-friendly and is only a few steps down to ground level. Kids can play on the level lot that surrounds the home. It is not uncommon to see deer and wild turkeys pass right by the home. The Hideout has year-round activities including golf, boating and fishing, skiing and snow-boarding at the property's private ski hill, and indoor tennis, fitness center and rec room. There is also an art center, perfect for rainy or chilly days. Our home, built in the late 1980’s rests in central access to many of the amenities. There are also several beaches, pools, playgrounds, and parks to choose from. Note that some amenities such as pools are open on a seasonal basis. An “official” ping pong table and pool table are located in the recreation center, not on the property. Amenity availability is subject to weather conditions and health precautions. Bring your own canoe, kayak or SUP and use on any of the area lakes ( register at the north rec center for about $20). Contact owner and/or community for further details. The home is close to trendy Honesdale, Lake Wallenpaupack and the antiquing haven of Hawley and nearby zoo. Our retreat is only about 2 hours from the NYC area and close to popular ski mountains. This construction is on the same property as the home. Driveway access may be impacted. Please note that no refunds are given for amenity closures as it is out of our control. Maximum 5 vehicles. No RVs. No pets or smoking. We do not allow proms or rent to anyone who is under 30 years old. This is strictly enforced. Valid ID is required prior to renting. Hideout guest registration fee $125, $100 linen fee (sheets and towels). Check in: 4:00 PM. Check out: 10:00 AM. Arrangements must be made in writing for a later checkout time to avoid additional charges. Reservations must be made within 5 days of check in. Failure to adhere to the house rules (including but not limited to too many people in the home, adding pets, not sticking to the checkout time etc.) will result in cancellation of the reservation or deduction from security deposit. Guests may not register motor boats for lake use. Bookings for more than 7 nights not accepted. Ring doorbell is positioned on the front driveway and may record motion and sound. Check ins on major holidays will not be accepted. Amenity availability is subject change and reservations may be required. Additionally, guests may be required to provide a negative covid test prior to arrival. Specific rules are dependent on government/community mandates. Inquire with the owner upon making a reservation. The pools are open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Ski hill opens 12/26 weather permitting Absolutely no pets or smoking allowed on the property.
