Nestled in Laurel, this attractive house for $370 per night is a great option for your next trip. This cottage is a perfect getaway for someone looking to rest and relax. Located in Mattituck close to all! It is just a short walk to the beach or shops. The cottage is on a quiet side street. The manicured lawn is a perfect place for a BBQ or relaxing on the hammock. There is a picnic table in the backyard for a meal under the stars. The cottage has 2 bedrooms. One queen and one twin bed. Linens are included with the rental (sheets/blankets/bath towels) but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. There is a living room with a sofa bed, TV with cable and Wi-FI. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishes, pots and pans. The dining area has space for 4. Mattituck has a lot to offer. Beautiful beaches, fabulous restaurants, quaint shops, an abundance of wineries, live theater and so much more. The cottage is a short walk to the Hampton Jitney and train station. It is the ideal place for a summer. There is a 5.5% fee per night per Suffolk County trying to bleed everyone dry because this county doesn’t take enough in taxes already. I’m sorry but that fee needs to be passed along to our guests. Please contact Karen for any further information.

We had a wonderful time in Mattituck.Very relaxing after one week in New York City! Great area! One day we rented bicycles and went up to Greenport, another day we went to Southampton. You can walk to the beach within 10 minutes! Karen and her husband are very friendly and helpful in all kind of ways. They even lended us their stand up paddle board and brought it down to the beach, which was really nice! There is everything needed in the kitchen, even some spices etc. The supermarket is just in walking distance.

Stayed with my husband andgrown son. Property is fine. Older but very sufficient. Woodburning stove was a nice touch. Owner responded quickly to an inquiry during our stay. My only issue was that when we left I put the sheets and towesl in the washing machine as instructed. A few days later I received an email from the owner threatening to withhold my security deposit if I did not reveal the whereabouts of the towels. I told her they were in the washing machine and she never got back to me to let me know that she found them. As a frequent renter of vacation properties who always treats the properties with respect I was somewhat offended to receive that email.

The owner, Karen was extremely helpful and available. The house is in the most perfect location of Mattituck. Walking distance to a plaza, love lane, and a nearby beach. Only 15 minutes to the best wineries. Definitely recommend stay here... can't wait to come back!

My husband, mother and I really enjoyed our stay here! Super quiet neighborhood with good access to everything the North Fork has to offer. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and make ourselves comfortable. Karen was very responsive and helpful. We were easily able to get on the WiFi.

Ideal location for exploring the North Fork and working remotely. Cottage is simple and cost, and photos are accurate. Close to beaches, vineyards, farm stands and charming Mattituck village.

We had a very nice stay at this cottage. It’s exactly as pictured; quaint, old fashioned, homey. Reminded me of my childhood especially the retro kitchen. The home had everything you’d need. The owner, Karen, responded very quickly to all our inquiries and went above and beyond when we inadvertently locked ourselves out one night. When we returned after dinner out, the door was opened and we were grateful. Another great thing is that it is very close to Veteran’s Beach and there is a pass provided. All in all, a good value for a. comfortable stay.

Karen was the most responsive owner I have ever dealt with.The cottage was conveniently located & well stocked . My grand daughters loved the big living room & the beach was perfect.A great getaway from Covid 19
