A must see is Fort Desoto County Park. (Approx 20-30min. drive south) Indian Rocks Beach 1.5 miles. Clearwater Beach 4.5 miles. Short walk over Belleair Bluffs causeway bridge to catch the Jolley Trolley which also will take your bike. "Hop on Off" for an entire day of tanning, playing on the beach, restaurants, bars or shopping. Nominal fee for all day pass including special student rate. Disney World is an easy 1 to 1.5 hour drive.
