About this house rental
Located in Snowmass Village, this attractive house for $2,000 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This beautiful 5,800 sq. ft. ski-in/ski-out home offers 4 bedrooms, a large separate family room with Murphy bed, a den/loft with sleeper sofa and 5 1/2 baths. You can ski-in and ski-out on the private Wood Run Homeowners Trail, which has direct access down to the Snowmass mall, base village, 6-seat chair lift and gondola. For less advanced skiers, the ski resort's Adams Avenue run is an easy 300-yard walk along the lightly travelled street. After a day on the mountain, enjoy the fantastic mountain views, restful wooded setting and two outdoor hot tubs. The house is located at 181 Bridge Lane, which is on a well-plowed road about 2 miles up the mountain from Snowmass Base Village. The adjacent Wood Run Homeowners Ski Trail is used for ski-in, ski-out access by some 25 homes located along the Trail. It is maintained in skiing condition by the private Wood Run Ski Association. The owners have rented this home to satisfied guests for 25 years. The owners' property manager will take care of any problems or issues that arise during a guest's stay. The dramatic living room on the main level is accented by huge log beams, vaulted ceilings, a marble-walled wood-burning fireplace, ample comfortable seating, a large hi-def TV, and a sound system with IPod cable. The dining room has a very large round table that seats up to 12. It adjoins a large gourmet kitchen featuring granite counters, Sub-Zero refrigerator, 2 dishwashers, double ovens, large center island and stainless prep table. Upstairs, the two-story family room has a gas fireplace, sleeping area with king Murphy bed and full bath. The upstairs patio offers a large outdoor spa and panoramic views. The home is multi-leveled with elevator access to the main floor. NO SMOKING OR PETS ALLOWED IN THE HOUSE. The Snowmass Short-Term Rental Permit No. for this property is 002299. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this huge house above Snowmass. There was so much room for everyone and the hot tub was a nice treat after a long day on the slopes. There are a lot of stairs as I think others have reviewed so take that into consideration before booking. The elevator does make it much easier to bring groceries and luggage up to the main floor. It snowed almost nonstop when we were there, which is great, however it made the private trail all the more difficult resulting in us never using it. Definitely a more advanced run. Adam’s avenue is very close, however, and the mall and village are a short drive down the mountain. The communication was great and Robert provided so much information about the private trail and surrounding areas making everything easy to navigate.

Our family so enjoyed our spring break ski trip at the Olson's amazing property! Beyond its desirable location to the village, the home is beautiful, immaculate, cozy, and has amazing views of the mountains! If it were possible to rate our stay with a 10 instead of a 5, we definitely would! Thank you Robert & Carol!

Spring skiing
A lovely property with great Mountain Views. The owner was in touch with us during our stay even though he was out of the country. The house is well stocked with every kitchen item/tool you would need. Bedrooms and beds were all very comfy. My only warning is that all bedrooms except main master are up a very long flight of stairs. If anyone in your group has mobility problems, then this is not the house for you. All in all, a great rental.

Property is clean with great room for family togetherness, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook in, plenty of bedding and bathrooms, laundry, etc. Host and property manager are very responsive and interested in your satisfaction. Ski-in, ski-out paradise
Owner and manager were great, transparent, and wonderful to deal with. We were a group of three families with mixed skiing ability adults and tenaged kids. This home is beautiful with a great location stunning views, and ski access points 20 feet from the garage for strong intermediate/advanced skiers and a 5 min level walk down a secluded street for less advanced skiers. There are two beautiful master bedrooms, a smaller (but very comfortable) bedroom with a king bed, an additional bedroom with two twin beds and a loft area with pull down king. Each sleeping area has its own dedicated bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed with all sorts of appliances and a wonderful spice drawer. We have no criticisms of the home but two FYIs. 1) The property is at almost 9000 feet of elevation. Our group are all experienced and comfortable at higher elevations so not a problem for us. Not everyone is comfortable sleeping at higher elevation. The higher elevation means that overnight snow is very common - even in late March- so a 4wheel drive vehicle is highly recommend. Without, it, access could become limited.

Private skiing splendor
This property is spectacular: Views from every room, enormous structural logs in the main house, a kitchen for 12, a dining table for 12, and, oh yes, ski-in and out on Guggenheim trail. Yet, thanks to architecture and the steepness of the mountain, it is private.
Equally good are the owner and the property management crew. Have a question? Answered. Have a concern? Addressed.

Snowmass comfort and convenience
Second year staying here. Owner and property manager are extremely attentive and communicate well. House is comfortable and well equipped. Had pack-and-play, crib, and high chair for my granddaughter. Easy to access, will be staying again. Thanks!

Incredible view, home, easy access to everything.
We took our family in a long anticipated vacation. This was in the planning for 2yrs. We took our 5 children ages 32-14, both sets of parents in their 70’s, and our sister and brother-in-law. The house was beautiful , clean, the Olsons checked in the first day just to make sure everything was as expected and nothing was needed. The view is incredible from the house over the valley, and the slopes are right there. Our parents went into Snowmass everyday to shop, have lunch, and just enjoy the sights.. there is plenty to do for all..

Perfect home for a large family or group
My entire family (both parents, my brothers family of 4 and my family of 4) take an annual ski trip for spring break every year and this house was by far the best laid out of all the homes we have rented. It has incredible space, feels like 3 homes in one, where we can all gather together or spend time by ourselves without being disturbed. Of the 3 living rooms, the main room is very large and comfortably seated all 10 of us. The dining room is also large enough to seat us very comfortably as well.
The kitchen is fully loaded and spacious with any utensil, appliance, or dish you can dream of (more cooking gadgets than in my own home, owner must be a great cook!). Though, you will have to purchase your own spices as there was no spice rack available.
Very conveniently there are 2 sets of washers and dryers (one on bottom floor, one on top floor), which is great when you have to launder multiple family ski clothes.
The house truly is ski-in/ski-out, though we were end of season and the snow was quite unforgiving for ski-in/ski-out. Very simply, we went towards the end of the street (a very short distance) and was able to ski-in/ski-out from there. And boy did we enjoy the hottub every day after skiing!
The house is a little outdated decorating wise (mostly just the bedrooms) and we did have to purchase additional toilet paper as there wasn't enough supplied, but none of this bothered us during our stay. Must add, the views are incredible from every room in the home!
Getting to the village is an easy, short drive, you also have the option of $1/per person dial a ride.
Honestly, this house is the best equipped, most spacious home we have ever stayed in (and we have been everywhere!). The owners are very lovely and helpful and were kind enough to check in on us via email. There is zero complication staying in this home, everything is well prepared and explained. We were enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Great Family Vacation Home
We could not have chosen a better home for our 3 families. The 3 levels made this very spacious and quiet. Also, the owner Robert was great to work with. He even called us a couple of times throughout the trip just to make sure everything was going ok. I have stayed at other ski-in ski-out properties before and it can be quite challenging to find the house sometimes. Robert had very good directions which made it easy to find. We were very blessed to get as much snow that we did. The driveway was cleared for us on a daily basis which made it easier to get a 2 wheel drive van in and out. We could not have been happier with this property. We will definitely be renting this property again!
