About this house rental
Nestled in Waveland, this attractive house for $493 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This raised 2100 sf., spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is located on the beach in Waveland, Mississippi. We are located on a corner lot with ample parking behind the house and plenty of room to relax and entertain underneath. Enjoy a game of shuffleboard while you barbecue , relax in the hanging swings or just sit on the porch and enjoy the view . But wherever you are , enjoy the cool breeze. Three of the bedrooms are located on the main floor of the house. The outside bedrooms each have a king size bed with windows facing the beach . The inside bedroom has a set of twin beds. Two full baths are on the main floor adjacent to the hall, but with access from each of the outside bedrooms. One has a bathtub and the other has a shower. The upstairs bedroom has two sets of bunk beds with double size beds on the bottom and twin size beds on top.There are also twin size mattresses underneath the bunks for additional guests. This is a spacious room perfect for kids to play. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub. The front porch is 30'x10' and is where much of the time is spent. Enjoy a gorgeous sunrise while watching the pelicans seagulls and other birds as well as an occasional dolphin. There is a bike path in front of the house which extends all the way through historic Bay St. Louis , with its quaint shops, restaurants and bars. The bike path can also be taken through Bay St. Louis and over the Bay Bridge into Pass Christian . there is also the new Bay St. Louis Marina . The Silver Slipper Casino is three miles away and can be seen from the front porch. the Hollywood Casino is five miles away in Bay St. Louis and New Orleans is only an hour away. Come and enjoy the beach, great fishing areas and fine restaurants. But most of all, just relax and enjoy some special time

Great Family Vacation
This was a great vacation house for my family! The house was very spacious and comfortable! My parents are not physically able to go to the beach but they loved sitting on the porch watching their great grandchildren play on the beach! The owner was very helpful and a joy to work with! We will definitely rent this house again!

Amazing Home on Beach
This was an amazing property on the beach. This trip included our family (2 kids) plus my husband's parents and his sister with one of her sons. We had plenty of room plus some for everyone. The house was clean. The property owner was easy to reach and very friendly. The beach was different than your typical beach. There were very little waves, but due to that, there were no rip tides, so our 7 year old could play to his heart's content with very little worry. We felt like we were on a private beach. There weren't very many people on the beach, so we didn't have to fight for a place to sit or play. We truly enjoyed our trip!

Beautiful ocean views and quiet area. The house was clean and well equipped. New Orleans is a quick drive away. Bay St. Louis restaurants near the ocean are very close and serve delicious meals. We loved our beach walks every day.

Excellent Everything
This was by far our best VRBO stay ever. The house was immaculate and very well stocked with all the necessities. It fronts on a very quiet beach. The beds and all the furniture were comfortable and inviting. There was enough seating everywhere for all of us to be together if we wanted. Our party of ten had plenty of room for quiet time if we wanted it, too. The owner was the best I've ever worked with and was very accommodating. BEST FAMILY THANKSGIVING EVER. We'll be back for sure and definitely recommend Ann's beach house in Waveland. MS to all our friends.

Perfect Beachfront Retreat
We had a group of 10 family members from 3 generations staying for a week, and this was the perfect beachfront getaway. The location is right across from the beach—a very easy walk. I love the downstairs covered patio area with plenty of seating and the all important outdoor shower! The house is spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. And the owner is incredibly responsive and helpful, including leaving a beach wagon and chairs, and bubbles for the kids for us! It was an easy drive to Biloxi, Gulfport, and New Orleans for day trips. And the beach was never crowded. It felt almost like our own private beach, even though it’s public and we did sometimes see others. Highly recommended.

This was very quiet with only a few on the beach. The property is so easy to beach access even with an infant.
We will definitely book this property again!

We also drove down to the Waveland beach for some volleyball one afternoon. We took a day trip to New Orleans (about an hour drive) but mostly hung at the house and enjoyed the beach, shuffleboard and washer toss. We went into the nearby towns for dinner a couple nights and a little boutique shopping by the girls. Very pleasant place for a little R&R and family time. The owner is top notch and was very helpful, responsive and accommodating. We so enjoyed our stay at this property.

Beautiful house and gorgeous views!!
We were a group of 9 women celebrating a 60th Birthday. This house was spacious and comfortable. It was a four day weekend of rainy weather (compliments of TS Beta), but we were content being together in this well equipped home. The area downstairs was perfect for our craft and prayer time. The porch area has a magnificent view of the beach, and it was our favorite place in the evenings. I can’t say enough about how sweet and helpful the owner, Ann, was to us. We enjoyed our trip and plan to return.

Wonderful stay
We rented this house for four days as a special place to celebrate a significant birthday for a family member. The house had lots of rooms/beds to accommodate our group and places to gather. The view of the beach and ocean from the front porch and living area was beautiful. The furnishings were great and very comfortable. I would without hesitation recommend this property and Ann was such a wonderful person to work with.

Perfect family house!
This house is wonderful! Ann the owner is amazing! My kids didn't want to leave so we went ahead a booked it Again for next year. The beds are great, inside and outside furniture are comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. Those are the main things I look for in a rental home and this one gets a 5 star rating in all 3. Then add in the extra things the owner did to make my children's stay more fun rank this house as my new favorite rental home! If your looking for a nice relaxing family beach trip this is your house.

Beautiful Home
My family stayed here the last week in July. The home had plenty of space for our family with 3 young children, 2 teenagers, my in-laws, and my husband and I. My favorite thing about this house was watching the sunrise while sitting on the porch in the morning drinking coffee. The view is amazing! The owner left plenty of toys for the children, so we spent a lot of time outside below the house while they played. The house has 2 porch wings down below and 2 picnic tables and lots of lawn chairs. The beach was closed while we were there, so that would’ve made the vacation even better because the house is literally just steps from the beach. However, Ship Island’s beaches were still open. You can get there by a ferry out of Gulfport that is just a 30 minute drive from the house. We spent two full days there, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting while the mainland beaches are closed. I would also recommend the train museum in Gulfport if you have young children. It’s free and has trains for them to ride. My kids were heaven! If you go fishing, the house has a fryer for you to cook at the house, but I would also recommend taking your fish to Hook in Pass Christian. The chef will prepare it for you in varies ways (he made ours baked, blackened, and fried) and do family style sides. It was delicious! I highly recommend! The house is also a quick drive to New Orleans. There is not much within walking distance of the house, but it’s an easy drive to a lot of things. Overall it was a great vacation!

Wonderful experience!
This home was perfect for our family - toddler to grandparents! The house had everything we needed with a fabulous deck and patio to grill and enjoy being together outside. Definitely a great house for small children with all the indoor, outdoor, and beach toys - but anyone would have a lovely time here. The owner was kind, communicative, and thoughtful. I would certainly return!

Waveland beach house
Every thing was good, even with a hurricane. Sadly the beach was closed. With the toys supplied and a pool that I brought, all the children had a great time. It was good time.
The only negatives were the dishwasher was hard to use and the oven was not working properly.
My only suggestion would be to add TVs to all bedrooms.
Overall, we would come back.

Stayed in a property in Pensacola last year for almost double the price and wasn’t near as nice as this house. Great deal and great property. They got washers and other games to play as well. Overall great experience at this house

Perfect family beach weekend
We had an excellent stay here with our family. The house was perfect for adults and children and we had everything we needed. Ann was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had. The house was the perfect beachfront getaway. The beach was quiet and relaxing! We will definitely be back!

Perfect! Better than home! Ideal location for everyone from mawmaw to newest grandbaby.
Stunning, yet comfortable, home. Fully equipped with more than I could have wished for, including but not limited to Tabasco sauce, toys, games, books, beach towels, outdoor fire pit and adult and child sized outdoor chairs. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs several times. The large patio under house was lovely, garden, swings, picnic tables, riding toys, cornhole game and shuffleboard! Decor was perfect, local and New Orleans inspired, unique and simple.
Location was ideal, quiet street right across from beach. Shallow water perfect for kids and those supervising. Front porch views were spectacular, sunrises and sunsets awesome. Public pier just a mile away, paved bike and walking trail along beach. Public library, playgrounds, and state park nearby. Lots of inexpensive restaunts and shops close by. Walmart and local grocery, old fashioned hardware store, dollar tree and goodwill within 5 minutes.
Although there were lots of inexpensive attractions nearby, we were contented to stay at the house and visit. Already booked 2 weeks in June.

Great Stay
Wonderful home!! Beautiful view with ample seating(we fought over the tall chairs) :) Under the house the breeze was so refreshing 2 swings,and other comfortable plastic chairs. Played some foosball, though it has felt the ocean's destructive deterioration (along with the table), it was still fun! Having a friendly competition on the shuffleboard court was a hoot!! Inside is very nicely decorated. The bedrooms with access to the bathrooms from inside them and the hallway is a neat setup. Upstairs would be a perfect place for kids, however we're 60+ :), there is no door so not very private for voices floating up and down stairs. Also, there was no instruction for the TV operation, finally got it going the last night! but who needs TV when the beach is just outside with soft sand!

**FYI - you need a new guest book it's full, we didn't get to sign, also, we just happened to find it and the interesting history of your home (one of the guest was being nosy I guess and found the clipboard & book in the drawer of the blue chest) We hope you never have to go through another hurricane!!

Beautiful views of the Gulf and convenient to restaurants and casinos! Christmas paradise!
Eight adults had a very pleasant 2017 Christmas together. The home is spacious and gave everyone privacy. It was on the beach and even though it was chilly, except one day, walks on the beach were fun. The many steps were a challenge for a few old knees.
