This studio in North Berkeley was perfect for us. It was clean and comfortable, well-appointed, a generous size for a studio, and in a lovely neighborhood. Parking in the neighborhood was easy. It's in walking distance of great restaurants and shops. Eli was such a nice host. He was easy to communicate with by text, and we were even greeted with a warm home-baked treat waiting for us in the studio upon our arrival! Really an all-around enjoyable stay.

I had the great opportunity to stay at Tal and Eli's place while visiting my daughter at Berkeley and really enjoyed it! The place had everything I needed, was a great landing spot and also allowed me to get some work done. Eli brought me a hot apple cake that was gone in about 15 minutes after bringing it to my daughter's place! I look forward to staying again!

This was a great location and great spot to get everywhere quickly. Tal & Eli were quick to respond to one small need and welcomed us with a warm apple cobbler! Very welcoming and delightful place. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area. Thanks

This was perfect for what I needed. I just needed a place to be comfortable that was close to amenities. Tal and Eli were very responsive and they welcomed me with chocolates, an apple crumble and wine. So amazing.

The studio apartment is a cozy & comfortable base for Bay Area visitors. Eli & Tal consummate hosts - from Eli’s warm welcome & orientation, help with our luggage & homemade apple cobbler & wine. Highly recommended!

This property is beautifully situated in North Berkeley, close to everything you might want in terms of wonderful parks, views, friendly neighborhood. It is also close to what people in Berkeley refer to as the Gourmet Ghetto, lots of good eating places. The actual apt is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with everything you might need. There is a lovely view out to the Bay. The proprietors are friendly, welcoming, and helpful if you need it. They provided a splendid wine and tasty home baked apple cake as a welcome. The best thing I can say about our stay there is that it was like home: it felt comfy, safe, had all that we needed and provided the perfect base for our Berkeley adventures. A++ in my rating

This place is Close to restaurants and the Greek Theater. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with spices and there was delicious coffee with vegan creamer. We were even greeted with vegan baked goods and a bottle of wine. There was even a view of San Fransisco and the bay bridge. I would stay here again for sure!!

What a great experience! This is the perfect place for a couple to stay in the hills above Berkeley. Very comfortable space in a charming neighborhood. Tal & Eli were wonderful hosts as well! They were extremely accommodating when our travel plans changed our arrival last minute. Extremely courteous hosts, and they even gifted us a bottle of wine as part of our stay. We would highly recommend staying here!

The unit was very clean and comfortable. The host was very accommodating and gracious providing a complimentary bottle of wine upon our arrival as well as some other items. The neighborhood was quiet with plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again.

My son and daughter-in-law stayed here for two nights and it was perfect for them. Their only suggestion is in regard to the outdoor solar lights that stay on all night and shine through the windows into the bedroom area. They thought a heavier shade/curtain would help to not have the room so bright at night. They appreciated the wine and crumble cake and said everything was very clean and well stocked.

Unit was great and location was very convenient. Street parking was very easy. Host greeted me with freshly baked apple cake, wine, chocolate, and a bottle of milk in the fridge. Unit had everything I needed and the host was extremely responsive. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful setting. Very kind hosts. Able to work easily back and forth to main road with restaurants. Also did some lovely walks through Berkeley's hidden paths and stairs. Highly recommend for a couple.

The host, Eli, was helpful and welcoming. Everything was fine in the apartment, bit it's quite small (10'x20'?) with little natural light. Sort of a "basement" vibe. Nice North Berkeley neighborhood, within easy walking distance (15 min) of Shattuck St. restaurants and shops, but quite far from the Downtown Berkeley BART station.

My wife and I stayed for a few days during the Thanksgiving holiday while visiting family. We enjoyed our stay, and would use this property again when the need arises. There were even some excellent homemade goodies upon arrival!

A friend and I stayed in this lovely little unit, and we were delighted! (Two people is probably the max.) The hosts, Tal and Eli were warmly welcoming, and could not have been more helpful, accommodating our request for a floor mattress so each of us could have a bed. The unit is light and cozy with everything needed for our 3 day stay, including a washer/dryer for a quick, small load of clothes. Tal greeted us with a yummy homemade cake and bottle of wine. The location is fabulous, close to UC Berkeley campus, Shattuck (Cheese Board!), Solano, Tilden, all of our destinations. We loved it and will stay there again!
