Located in Montauk, this attractive cottage for $592 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Perfect Sunsets any time of year —this magical two-bedroom waterfront cottage on bucolic Fort Pond is as close as it gets to perfection. Every room looks out upon the most beautiful waterfront and sunset vistas all year. A designer's home is beautifully decorated with mid-century modern furniture and spectacular landscaping, enhancing the privacy felt on this gem of a property. It features a large living area with ribbon remote control gas fireplace, a dining table, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and a bathroom with a large glass-enclosed rain head shower with access to the outdoor shower from the inside. Ideal for couples, singles, or small families (dogs accepted with a $250 fee, and crated when left alone). Maximum sleeping capacity 4 people. The cottage has plenty of outdoor furniture, a table for 8, a gas Weber grill, and stairs to the water—perfect for standup paddleboards or kayaking. A short walk to town (5 minutes), the best restaurants, the Jitney, and beaches The cottage comes with linens, towels, beach towels, a fully equipped kitchen, and many beautiful pieces of vintage table settings and glassware for entertaining. (2) standup paddleboards, (2) Kayaks, and (2) bikes. You will be asked to sign a waiver for the use of the equipment. The cottage is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest. All surfaces are disinfected with Clorox. All white linens are washed in warm water with bleach. All throw pillows and throws are washable and are cleaned between each guest. $250 per week for cleaning and garbage removal $250 Pet Fee per dog, maximum 2 dogs. The house is very clean and well decorated. It sits on a nice property overlooking a pretty lake. It is a short walk into town and the beach. The host was responsive to our texts, but was rude upon checkout. Not a great ending to our vacation to have the host be so unfriendly and rude as we were leaving.

It was even better than described in the listing. The house was well equipped and very updated. We loved the fenced yard and all the outdoor amenities. We walked to the beach every morning and to restaurants and shopping several times a day. This property has the most amazing sunset view, which we enjoyed each evening. Highly recommend this one.

We wanted peaceful and relaxing and we woke up to birds and the calming sounds of the water lapping the rocks outside. The place is immaculately decorated, Laura is a pleasure is communicate with, the place is spotless, fully equipped with everything you could need for cooking and dining in. It was absolutely beautiful and we will definitely reach out to her to stay at her house again. It was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a two bedroom house on the pond within walking distance of town and five minutes drive to Gosmans, ten to the lighthouse. Perfect vacation spot. Loved every minute.

Absolutely stunning cottage on the lake. Surpassed our expectations for a winter getaway! Close to restaurants and hiking trails. Panoramic view of the lake with amazing sunsets. Decorated beautifully and everything was immaculate! Laura is a gracious host who responded promptly to our needs. We almost had to cancel our trip last minute and Laura agreed to change our dates, no problem no additional fees. We will definitely be returning!!

This beautifully renovated cottage with a great view of the water (and an awesome gas fireplace) was exactly what my husband I needed as a winter escape from the city. The cottage has everything you could think of - comfy beds, new appliances, every cooking tool, great coffee/espresso maker, wonderful gas fireplace - the works. There are many great hiking/walking trails nearby. The area guidebook at the cottage was very thorough. Owner was terrific to communicate with and answered immediately with any questions. We will be back again!

The only thing better than a lovely rental home is one that has a kind hearted owner. Laura’s home and surrounding views are nothing short of amazing. Perfect energy and space to wake up on this Christmas morning. The home provided a much welcomed retreat for some R&R during a different kind of holiday season for me. From start to end the process was smooth and simple. We came with a pet and he was more than happy to run the grounds. If you are debating, look no further and book it, you won’t be disappointed!

The Cottage is a luxury. The large windows offers a beautiful view of the pond and the most beautiful sunsets. The well appointed bedroom are fitted with top of the line linens in crisp white. The main bath is spacious with plush white towels. The storage closet offers and abundance of pillows and blankets. I can't forget to mention the gas fireplace. Turn it on and set the mood for a romantic evening. WE enjoyed our stay.

The house is very updated with all the high-end amenities needed (kitchen, bathroom) and the layout was perfect to maximize the usable space and the incredible views. Added bonus is a hedged enclosed yard that is really beautiful! We’ll be back for sure.

My fiancé and I have stayed at this listing several times and it had yet to disappoint. Laura is the most incredible host! Every exchange we have had has been so warm and inviting! We bring our yellow lab and have the most incredible weekend getaways enjoying the chic, cozy and comfortable cottage, the beautiful yard space overlooking the lake, and the breathtaking sunsets! The town and beach are are just a few short minutes drive down the road. Laura leaves an awesome list of restaurant recommendations that ALL panned to be incredible are literally just minutes away from the house! There are so many amenities availbel including kayaks and bikes to really enjoy the heart of Montauk! Perfect for couples or small families! Literally my favorite place to be in New York!

We had a fabulous time on our recent trip to Montauk. The house was amazing and looked like something out of a magazine. The location is great, peaceful but super close to town. I wanted to stay at this property for a few years now. I’m so happy we finally did. The home is immaculate, charming, perfectly situated, close to town, with beautiful water access. Perfect for a couple or small family. We brought our two dogs and they could not have been happier. Wonderful fenced in yard and felt like we were away from the world (and didn’t have to fly anywhere!) A perfect way to enjoy a Montauk. I hesitate to write a review because I selfishly want to save this slice of heaven for myself!
