WELCOME TO OUR TORREY SPRINGS ONE BEDROOM HOME Our new, modern home with an open layout you and your guests will love, is decorated simply yet of high quality. The large windows and sliding glass doors allow you to experience every beautiful sunrise and sunset, starry night, and scenery without ever stepping outside. The large back patio is designed for your comfort. A place to relax, entertain or just enjoy the magnificent Utah Red Rock scenery and Boulder Mountain. Our guests love the balmy breezes, silence, stillness and privacy that surround this quaint location. Also, check out our Two Bedroom home at VRBO.com/564942. This home has one bedroom and one bath. There is a Air Bed for the kids or extra guests. The beds, mattresses and linens are of high quality for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom features a large, rain head shower. For your convenience, we have a new stacking washer and dryer, if needed. If cooking is your passion, look no further. Our vacation home kitchen is complete. All new Stainless Steel appliances, granite counter tops and island. You’ll find all of the cooking tools you need from good, sharp knifes to quality pots and pans. The cupboards are filled with dishes, utensils and glasses, mixing bowls and the main staples – flour, sugar, coffee, spices, plus more. Included is a coffee maker, waffle iron, pancake griddle, blender, mixer, etc. You’ll love preparing your meals as you look out the 2 - 8’ sliding glass doors to the creek below and the clouds forming over the Boulder Mountains. The patio has a first-class, gas, BBQ with a beautiful wicker table that seats four. There are also two lounge chairs with ottomans and a fire pit for relaxing and watching for wild turkeys, rabbits, deer and elk that frequent the area. The porch on the entrance has views of the red rock vistas and sunsets. Both patios are covered for year round enjoyment. We also have gravity loungers for star gazing. We also have all the electronics you’ll need – large screen cable TV, and high speed Wi-Fi internet. We are located minutes away from beautiful hiking and biking trails, National Forests, Torrey Town and its restaurants, bars and shopping, and the gateway to Capitol Reef National Park. Other Utah destinations like Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and Lake Powell, are within hours drive making our home a perfect base camp. This place was perfect for a weekend away. Immaculate with tons of nice little touches. The shower was so luxurious after a long hike. Linda was so thoughtful to put out little dog treats and water bowl.
Communication was prompt, easy to understand, and friendly. We would definitely come back!

I travel a lot. This by far was the best vrbo ive ever stayed in. They have thought of literally everything. Spices. Condiments. Coffe, hot chocolate and tea. Extra toothpaste if you forget yours. The bed was AMAZING. Wi Fi was great. Views and the area are stunning. It was the perfect base camp for exploring Capital Reef and Grand Staircase. You will not be disappointed. Make sure you pick up all your groceries befoe you leave a big city. In the winter almost everything is closed.

Linda and Martin's home was absolutely fabulous in every possible way. It was so incredibly clean, tastefully and fashionably set up in terms of furniture and decor, and felt so roomy and homey inside. The giant windows and high ceilings make it feel so spacious inside and allow for great views of the country outside. Our hosts were also the kindest, warmest, nicest folks around. I would definitely highly recommend this property and certainly stay again if I had occasion to do so!

We had the pleasure of renting this exceptional accommodation for 51 nights. As full time travelers, we would rank this among the top 5 vacation homes we have stayed in over the last 10 years. The hosts, Linda and Martin, could write the book on how to run a vacation property because everything was flawless. The home was impeccably clean and extremely well stocked. There was food items, coffee, drinks, plenty of paper items, blankets, linens, pillows, bathrobes, cleaning supplies, and plenty of pots and pans, dishes, wine glasses, and even extra toiletry items and a first aid kit. This list could go on....nothing was missing! We also had a gorgeous view in each direction where the red rocks would change colors as the sun moved. The nights were quiet and peaceful under a canopy of stars. The heating and cooling ran perfectly, and the Internet was fast. Our host offered us treats from their garden and homemade baked goods. We also had fun going to the weekly Farmer's Market together. We were sad to leave as we LOVED our stay here.
Capital Reef NP is a few miles away and offers endless hiking. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for comfort and pampering in a beautiful setting. This is a true gem! There is a reason so many of the bookings are return visits. There are not many accommodations out there that meet this level of excellence. We will most certainly be back.

Property was as advertised. Home was stocked with everything needed to enjoy a day out in the park or just a relaxing day in. Birds from the property are amazing and good chance at seeing some of the local wildlife.

Words cannot adequately describe how restful and peaceful our stay was. The owners had thought through every detail when designing this home and their hospitality was above and beyond anything we have ever experienced compared to other vrbo stays. We loved it and after about 5 minutes immediately began talking of returning!

In a small town where places to stay on the upper scale range are very limited, this was wonderful! Our kids are super sensitive to noises and the pub in front did not bother any of us at all. If you are doing any hikes along hole in the rock road or out to calf creek, this is really an ideal location.

This little place was absolutely perfect for our visit to Capitol Reef and the surrounding area. The home was clean, comfortable and you can’t beat the views. Linda greeted us on arrival and explained everything, gave us tips on where to eat and was available quickly via phone/text. The kitchen was even stocked with some snacks and essentials (spices, bottled water, soda, popcorn, pasta, cereal, etc) for use. The house is about 10 minutes from the national park and close enough to the town, but just far enough off the beaten path to make you feel like you had your own space. We have no complaints and can’t wait to come back again someday!

My husband, son and I were visiting from Virginia, our first experience of Utah. Torrey's Dark Sky Community & Capitol Reef's Dark Sky Park status were our #1 motivation for making this our destination. We like to 'settle in' and not just touch the surface of a place so we stayed for six nights, making a day trip to Bryce Canyon National Park.
The house was exactly as presented in the listing and resets the high bar for VRBOs (we've stayed in many). It is exceptionally well-stocked including with high quality cookware. Linda was so responsive and helpful. It was the perfect balance of having a host nearby. The house is impeccably clean and comfortable. Wonderful washer/dryer!
The setting is spectacular & convenient to Capitol Reef. Also, access to the Great Western Trail is just a short walk up the road.
Not everyone gets the message about protecting the natural night & stargazing night vision. Of the three guests rotating through the adjacent rental, only one turned off exterior lights overnight. A nearby house also has solar lights and a garage light that impede stargazing/night vision. But this is not within the control of the host,and as a dark sky advocate I understand all too well the challenges of voluntary cooperation with principles of good lighting.
Speaking of natural light, if like us you are from the east coast and/or have never been in a desert environment, it gets bright early in summer so consider having eye masks with you.

Home is Northern Utah and we are able to visit Torrey nearly every year. Loved visiting Capital Reef National Park and Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument in June this time around. The wild flowers were SO AMAZING, we may repeat in late spring again next year.

We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals, and Linda and Martin’s places (we have stayed in both) are at the head of the class. Clean, comfortable, amazingly well stocked with kitchenware and cooking essentials, plus goodies of all kinds. Awesome views of mountains, weather, sunrises and sunsets. Comfy patio. Nice shower, too. We spent several days exploring in Cathedral Valley, San Rafael Swell and Waterpocket Fold, all wonderful. We also enjoyed the taco trucks in Torrey. Our thanks to Linda and Martin. Linda, had everything that you would ever need including a spice draw that had over 20 spices. In addition, all the dishes and other supplies were of highest quality. I have to say my family and I have stayed at dozens of VRBOs over the years and never in my life have I stayed at a more well equipped rental. Linda is an amazingly gracious host who has literally thought of EVERY single thing you might ever need. The attention to detail at this property is outstanding. My family had so much fun exploring Capitol Reef and the San Rafael Swell. As a landscape and nightcap photographer this was an absolute paradise. I cant thank this host enough and look forward to coming back. Dont hesitate JUST BOOK IT.

This house is clean, well-furnished, nicely decorated, very quiet, beautiful view, and with a great kitchen that is amazingly stocked! Seriously, best kitchen I've ever seen in a rental house. Pots and pans are in great shape. Linda gives you a list of all items that she provides included in your rental - canned drinks, cans of soup, spaghetti & sauce, pancake mix, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. A full and well-organized drawer of spices! We were very impressed and were thankful for those items. The bathroom is modern and really nice. Great shower! (I am picky about my bathrooms and it was great.) Washer and dryer were clean and new and the bedroom was quiet with a comfortable bed. Very convenient location to Capital Reef NP!! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

From the moment you open the door you realize this is not your average VRBO. The counter was complete with placemats, napkins and beautiful place settings. Frig was stocked with water, soda and local beer (which was greatly appreciated upon return from a day of hiking). Comfortable bed, plenty of soft towels and the air bed was a great addition. And the back deck! Oh my goodness what a view! Beautiful gas grill (and by great I mean clean! ) and the fire table was a wonderful surprise. Take the time to enjoy the sunset and do some stargazing, you won’t regret it. Linda is DEFINITELY a premier host.

Our interactions with Linda began over a year before we stayed at this lovely home with views out the windows from all four sides including sunrise & sunset. We had everything we needed and then some. We had opportunity to stay in a few days due to inclement weather and so enjoyed the rain pouring down into the valley below, watching the streams grow and flow. It was a wonderful location for walking our dogs including the land at the end of the road overlooking the orange mountains never ending all around. Linda's set up with all the extras is truly a work of art. We also enjoyed meeting Martin and chatting a few times. While out in the country, a small grocery/diner and several diverse restaurants are within a mile or two. Or everything you could possibly need to cook is right at home. Don't hestitate to book this VRBO.

Everything about this house in Torrey was exceptional. It was perfectly clean and was so well stocked with supplies we were astounded. The stargazing at night was incredible and while we waited for that we loved hanging out on the porch with the comfy chairs and fire pit. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting the Mighty 5. Perfect doesn't describe this place! It had everything you could want (spice drawer 😍) and things you didn't know you needed (immersion blender???) The views from the back porch were incredible. We cooked our meals and ate on that porch watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. It was peaceful and we couldn't recommend this place enough. Linda really has thought of everything.

The property was wonderful. Large space in a great location with great views both front and back. This was the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at. Linda thought of everything! She was there within a few minutes of our arrival to greet us and answer questions which was very welcomed. The shower was an experience in itself..AWESOME!The house was close to the grocery store and a 20 minute drive of Capital Reef Park which was more than we imagined. All in all a great experience !
