About this condo rental
Situated in Copper Mountain, this charming condo for $250 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The Lodge at Copper, (located in Center Village) is a TRUE ski-in/ski-out building and the mountain’s most sought after lodging address. Put your “sticks” on at the building’s back door and ski down to the American Flyer Lift. At the end of the day or just for a cocoa break, cruise down Scooter Run to the same door. No lugging skis and boards across the village! Truly no-hassle skiing and riding! This spacious two-bedroom, two-bath unit is approximately 1,350 square-feet and located on the second floor of The Lodge at Copper. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances, cookware, plates, glasses and utensils you’ll need to whip up a feast fit for the high country! Long day on the slopes? After dropping your boards and skis in the heated ski locker room, skip the cooking and treat yourself to dinner in the village! Afterward, retire to the living room and screen a movie on a 42-inch flat-screen TV. Make a fire in the real wood-burning fireplace to perfect the ambiance! Maybe you’re achy from using those ski-and-ride muscles??? Grab a towel and head over to either The Lodge’s outdoor hot tub or one of three saunas located on floors 2-4. When it’s time to turn in and recharge those batteries for tomorrow’s epic powder, both bedrooms have TVs, super-comfy mattresses, and fine linens. The master has a king bed and the amply sized second bedroom a queen. Got kids? Pop some corn and send them off to camp out on the bunk beds, or queen and twin sleeper sofas located in the far end of the living room. If you want to be first-chair, hurry and shower up in one of two spacious “twin” bathrooms. No need to pack a hair dryer! You will find wall-mounted versions in both baths.. Linens and towels are provided for 4 people. Additional may be requested. Been out of touch for a few (glorious) days and need to touch base with the outside world (or maybe you just want to post some fabulous photos to make your friends green with envy!)? We’ve got you covered either way with FREE wireless Internet service. If your base layers need freshening, our building’s new washing machine and dryer are located on the first floor and will spiff up those togs in short order! Before you leave us, make sure to watch the snow fall or listen to the summertime babble of our beautiful stream from the balcony off the living room---no hot tub chatter on THIS side of the building to disturb the solitude! Smoking Is Not Permitted In The Unit Or On Balcony At Any Time. By now you surely have decided to come for a visit! As you pull up to the extensively renovated Lodge at Copper building, you can park your car in the heated garage located underneath the building. If friends come calling, they can park their sleigh in your other parking spot, located on the stream-side of the building. An elevator makes easy work of getting your suitcases up to the second floor. Skied yourself silly tired? Copper Coach Dial-A-Ride is a free transportation service to and from ALL areas of the Copper community and can be accessed by calling. The Copper Coach runs 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Please call 15 to 20 minutes prior to the desired pick-up time. Copper Coach runs 7 days/week. Hope to see you soon!

Sherri was a fantastic host, very responsive & easy to work with. The condo was in a great location, ski in ski out to the American Flyer.
The kitchen was well stocked, and Sherri accommodated our request for extra towels.
The garage parking was an extra benefit.

We enjoyed this property very much! There were 7 of us staying together and it fit us all without difficulty, though the bunk beds are in the living area. It was absolutely ski in/out! The property was dated but it didn’t bother us.

The condo was in a fantastic location at Copper Mountain. We had a great time! Sherry was wonderful with delivering more towels, more TP and explaining the way to lock the condo.
The 2 parking spots and the ski locker were super convenient.
Suggestions: Update the lamps/lighting in the family room.
The bathroom and kitchen floors were sticky when we arrived. All in all, the condo worked out great!

We have vacationed in Copper for 4 decades and always enjoy staying at the Lodge for convenience, nice Mountain view, and space more often available in the older buildings. We appreciate the friendliness of the on site manager who has great advice for visitors.

Areas that need improvement:
1. Electricity. Some lights switches did not work so it was a dark ambiance.
2. Beds were very firm.
3. Trash bags were limited. If we had 9 in our group we would have had to bring toiletry items and trash bags. We were close to running out of host supply in three days with 6 people.
4. Place says it can sleep 9 and that is true with couches, pullouts, bunk beds, and other bedrooms, but I think people who try this should know that it would be a tight fit with 9 people. 6 was manageable but you can barely fit 5 on the couches surrounding the tv in the living room. Also keep in mind only two parking spots are covered so you would have to fit 9 in two vehicles with all your stuff somehow. Not sure where extra vehicles would even park but it seems it would be a hassle.
Honestly, even with the areas that need improvement, I would come back and stay again with 6. Can’t beat this location.

Sherri was an amazing host!! VERY accommodating and quick to respond. The place was super nice and clean. We had 8-9 people stay with plenty of space. The location is prime and we literally skied 2 feet up to the door. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would for sure stay here again!

Great location
Great place. We had 2 family and it worked great. It was really cold when we got there and took 5-6 Hours to warm up. Also there was a really strong floral sent on the pillows and comforter, but that was the only things to mention, otherwise great time and easy to walk around.

Perfect location
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this specific condo. I love the layout, a master with its own bathroom a 2nd bedroom and then also a nook off the living room with bunk beds that has a space of its own which feels almost like a private area of it's own. The living room is very spacious with plenty of seating and a fireplace (bring your own firewood) The location is perfect though, just off the center village area so a little quieter but steps from the flyer lift. It is ski In off of loverly and almost ski out. I was able to get about 5 yards from the base of Flyer and then could pole/skate the rest of the way. The property manager was very responsive as well. Highly recommend.

Adequate accommodations and great location
The location of the property is great! So close to American Flyer! If you do it right, you can ski right to the lift. And when you're done, ski right to back door and put up your skis. After your ski adventure, you can take a walk to Center Village and grab a bite to eat or do some shopping.
The condo is adequately fitted but tight for more than five people. We had eight total staying. The six adults had problems sleeping due to the extreme firmness of the beds. Two adults had to sleep on the bunk beds in the living room and this is not recommended due to the noise the beds made when you move. They are SO loud. That also made it really hard to sleep. Maybe new mattresses could fix this? Not sure. One of us ended up sleeping on the couch (not the pull out) and it was much more comfortable.
The kitchen has new appliances, which is great! But it's really small, which can be difficult when cooking for a large amount of people. The dinning table is tough to get settled into due to the tight space it is in. Depending on where you are sitting, other people would have to get up to let you out.
The box of kids toys in the pantry needs sorted. A lot of them were missing pieces.
The description of the condo amenities indicated a swimming pool. The kids were really excited about this but when we arrived we discovered the swimming pool was located at the gym somewhere else on the resort and cost money. I don't know if I would label a swimming pool as an amenity.
The condo manager/owner was easy to get a hold of, which was very nice.
All in all, if someone was looking for a great location, I would recommend this condo.

This is our 4th year in a row which makes it.easier & easier every year. This is a true Ski in & ski out condo. Looking forward to returning next year.

Convenient location, best ski in ski out property
This was a great place for our party of 6. Very comfortable, hope to come back another year. The owner was very responsive to me and while we didn't need anything while we were there, she answered my questions quickly over email. Thanks for a great stay!

Great condo for the whole family!
We have stayed in Copper many times over the years and this condo was great. It had plenty of beds for our family of 4 plus friends for our kids. The kitchen was well-appointed. Ski in/ski out is definitely a bonus! Our dealings with Sherrie, the owner/manager, were great! She is very helpful and did everything in her power to make sure our stay was memorable! We will definitely stay in this unit again.
