Located in Kalaoa, this attractive condo for $120 per night is a great choice for your next break. It's located 10 minutes from Kona International Airport, 10 minutes to the nearest beach, 15- 20 Minutes to Kailua Kona. Great elevation at 900ft which is comfortable temperatures year round. Will get to meet my whole Ohana which has allot of Aloha spirit. Help yourself to tropical fruits as availability due to the season. I recommend renting a car due to lack of public transportation on this Island. We have a small exercise area and a basketball court. Nice quite neighborhood.

10/10 what else can I say. The room has screens so windows can be left open, wildlife may wake you in the morning but windows can be shut to avoid this, however a much nicer wake up than an alarm. Close to beaches and airport. Parking available. Really kind hosts. Feels so much nicer than hotels because it just feels more like home.

This beautiful property was perfect for us. We loved the view from the balcony where we ate all our at home meals, the birds chirping in the trees, the lovely pool we actually only got to once, the quiet neighborhood where I walked and enjoyed the beautiful plants and flowers. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed getting to know Andrea, who answered all our questions and gave us some advice on where to go and what to do. I can easily understand why they get repeat visitors! Mahalo!

Steve and his ohana were friendly and the location in a neighborhood near the airport was perfect for traveling to all four corners of the island. The property was as advertised and met our expectations well. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Aloha!

Next time I’ll look better some of the amenities since this property doesn’t have air conditioning. If you are ok with not having that I think it might work for you. Other thing is the toilet is awkward space, next to the kitchen with saloon doors, which offers zero privacy if you are staying with other person. To avoid having the place to be too hot all the windows need to be open all the time, which you can hear everything outside. It’s mostly quiet, but I am a light sleeper and the cocks will wake you up starting at 4am. So, no much sleep there. This place is also not too close to many things, it’s about 10-15 drive to get to a decent place to dine in or hang out. If you are aware of those things the place might work for you. I guess for what is charged it’s not worth it for me.

Very quiet and well-equipped studio apartment at a comfortable 900' elevation in Kona, near the airport. Ocean view from the balcony is very nice, beautiful pool area, and all in all we had a great stay. Highly recommend it!

Steve was a great host. Showed us where our place was located and was disappointed that the fruit on his fruit trees weren't ripe yet. The apartment was clean, spacious and comforatble for tow people. It is centrally located for Kona activities. We were there for a coupl eof days and would stay there again.

We came all the way from Brazil, and after a long flight Steven made sure we had a great stay. He and his family were super kind and thoughtful and we can only be grateful for that! I’d definetely recommend and come Back!

Very comfortable and spacious apartment near the airport. Beautiful sunset from the lanai! Kitchenette was suitable for preparing simple meals. The check-in process was a little confusing as we didn't know where to go when we got there, but otherwise a great stay!

Steven's apartment was clean, furnished beautifully, and was spacious. The apartment allows for ample privacy. The entrance is separate but still attached to their family home, so it's good to be mindful of that. The toilet is behind "saloon" like swinging doors, but the washroom area is big, very clean and modern. The temperature was perfect, and they have extra blankets and pillows if you need it, and a very big closet. They provide parking, a coin washer and dryer, beach chairs & umbrella, and two water bottles upon check-in. It's a wonderful location, with most things within a 10 minute drive from the apartment. The airport is very close by too! Steven was kind enough to accommodate a late check-in, and helped us when we had some trouble finding the location at night. Thank you again Steven for the beautiful stay and abundant hospitality :)

Nice, quiet neighborhood. Surprising given how close it is to the airport. Didn't realize there would be a family including small children right beneath the unit. But they were very quiet! Also didn't know they were recovering from Covid, disclosed to me when I arrived, but since the space was separate from the main house with two entrances it worked out fine. Not a full kitchen but well equipped. This is perfect for one or two people who want to be off the beaten path yet it's close to Kailua and central to many beaches north and south of the airport.

The studio was nice and our host was very respectful and gracious. My wife and I did unfortunately encounter a few cockroaches during our stay. The accommodations themselves were very clean and it is hard to control pests in such a warm climate. However, communication about solutions was not as timely as we would have hoped. The host also did not want to send his son up while we were in the space to set up traps but had either one reached out to us we would have worked to coordinate a solution. Ultimately, we appreciated the chance to stay however.

Steve was a great host. He welcomed us on arrival and even gave us some seasonal fruit from his fruit trees! He also invited us to use his pool. The accommodations were indeed spacious and super clean. With the fans going and windows open, and closing the appropriate blinds to keep direct sunlight out, the temperature was perfectly fine and not too hot. Overall we really felt welcomed and comfortable and would highly recommend!

Steve, our host, was fabulous. His studio was delightful. His property has all the feelings of true Hawaii. There’s a pool on his property we got to enjoy after a full day of island adventures. A hidden gem in Kona

This has been my wife and I's favorite place to stay at each of the islands. It is a hidden gem! Steve was so accommodating and helpful! He shared some of his fresh fruit that came out of his garden. His space is big and has a balcony, as well as cooking supplies. We were able to cook breakfast each of the mornings during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment - so spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. We appreciated being in a quiet neighborhood with ocean views, yet close to the airport and Costco. Steve and his family were friendly and very responsive to requests - Mahalo!
