Beautiful and clean property and wonderful amenities including fridge, electric water kettle, kitchen, infrared sauna, pool, jacuzzi, and lomilomi massage therapy.

Very dark once the sun set. Could use some more lighting around the property for safety esp along the steep driveway. Otherwise, a wonderful facility.

it was amazing to stay undressed in the swimmingpool in the darkness, but after some other guests arrived in the public living area we have to moved in this situation to the balcony from our room, the Manta Ray Suite, we have done it there, a wonderful place to do this. We only have to be quiet, because the balcony was not far from the public living area. And at all the Manta Ray Suite was nice, there are a big bed, with some mirrors at the side. And there are a nice shower with ocean view, the shower is very big, so its perfect to use it together, a nice place for a couple.

Friendly atmosphere, kind people living/working there. Quiet and special place, a little outside of town but everything easily accessible with a car (which you need on the island anyway). Was perfect for us to relax in the evening. The hosts also informed us in advance about the place ane the fact that we should live vegan for the time being there.

Superb

The location is great and super quite. The host is very friendly and precise with directions and guidelines.

The only, minor, aspect was the lack of fresh fruits, differently from what mentioned in booking (only bananas were available).

Beautiful gardens and very friendly community. Loved the pool and hot tub! was nice to be in the mountains away from the tourist area

What an absolutely fantastic place in a fantastic setting. Fresh fruit from the trees available every morning. Nice pool and jacuzzi and sauna. It's obvious how much care the owners put into the place.

Quiet, relaxing and good price. Close to airport.

A wonderful place to stay. It's not next to the beaches but close enough (15 min drive). It's up the mountain so you have a nice view and is very quiet. It has pretty gardens, cute little pool, sauna and a little trail to hike. Community kitchen with free coffee and fruits. It has also beach gear available. I had a great time with Ben singing music from the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel and listening to his rehearsal for a presentation.

Won't find a grocery store close. The property is vegan, so if you are not willing to follow vegan diet think it twice

beautiful location and not far from food and the beach loved the saltwater pool and hot tub and the open air kichen the staff are very kind feels like home,

It was ok for a couple of days.

The property was very nice and you could pick mangoes that had fallen off the trees onto the ground. The jacuzzi and sauna were nice. Be aware clothes are optional after dark. It is a vegan property which could be difficult for non-vegans for long stays. We enjoyed Ben's guitar playing in the evening. He was also friendly and helpful sharing some info about the property the day after we arrived.

We did not have a vehicle and arrived very late. The property is isolated and a difficult walk to access any food. We had requested a smoothie in the am but did not get it as we had no food with us. The room was very basic, more like a hostel; private bathroom down the hall. The bed was very uncomfortable, hard as a rock. You need a vehicle to get food.

Exceptionally clean. Very kind, responsive and easy going owners. Secure wifi. Cool terrasse to relax on.

In our room we could hear the neighbors from above very loudly. Everything is clean but already old and used, a renovation could be worth. In general, all over Hawai’i what we experienced during our month stay is that the majority of the places for sleeping are overpriced for what you get and this place was not an exception.

Superb

The property and grounds are beautiful, little outpost buildings and lovely pool/kitchen area. Reminded me more of a hostel vibe. Very laid back and communal feeling. We arrived to here a Grateful Dead song floating in from the yurt under a bright moon for our first night ever in Hawaii- so I was delighted! I loved our little house, comfortable and cute! Amazing view and very serene.

I wish we could have met someone who works here- we met exactly 0 people here so it felt a little bit strange/anonymous. I guess we didn't hang out around there long enough. I'd say this is a better fit for folks who want to take advantage of the sanctuary rather than as a central stay for going about Kona.

Great 2-night stay

We had a great 2-night stay, while exploring the island. The property is beautiful, with nice amenities (pool, sauna, jaccuzzi) but the most amazing part - the nice owners. We enjoyed the fresh fruit and smoothies.

Highly recommend for those looking for sanctuary after a day of hiking and snorkeling!

The owners and hosts were very welcoming and the property is beautiful. I loved coming back to the hot tub and refreshing pool after a day of hiking and snorkeling. That hot tub is amazing! Cleaned with essential oils and felt great after a day of ocean. If you are lucky, you might be able to catch a music performance by the owners in the mothership— a very special experience!
