LESS than 1 mile from DC`s nerve center; Union Station, our lovely one bedroom apartment is perfect for traveling families, couples & business travelers! Parking! The Space: Cozy but perfectly formed, our apartment can comfortably sleep 4 guests (2 adults, 2 children) or 3 adults. The primary bedroom has a plush queen size bed, and the full size futon has a comfortable topper located in the closet. Designed with the everyday traveler in mind, guests need only turn the key, and find themselves in a clean, modern space they can make their own & create memories that will last long past your stay! With all modern amenities included, you can rest easy knowing your stay will be stress free! The property boasts a swivel TV, complete with smart streaming and local channels, so guests can watch their favorite shows from the bedroom OR the front room! Virtual assistant; Amazon Alexa, awaits to help plan your activities, give updates on weather, traffic and stream your own personal playlist - experience your trip to DC with your own personal soundtrack to the trip! All this and more help contribute to the interactive, open floor atmosphere of the home! Laptop friendly workspace complete with desk area and excellent WiFi is perfect for the traveling executive - lots of DC reading material to get sucked into on those rainy days! There is a darling patio area outside; unwind with a glass of wine or a cup of joe next to a beautiful Japanese maple tree. Not only is there plenty of unrestricted street parking in front of the house (on a first come first serve basis), the neighboring side street offers unrestricted, overnight, parking from 7:30pm - 7am. This is the perfect home base for those hoping to make the most out of the city, and truly experience life like an advantageous local! Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire unit, it is not shared. AC & Heating is controlled in unit, so guests will be totally in control! There is a darling patio area outside; unwind with a glass of wine or a cup of joe next to a beautiful Japanese maple tree. Not only is there plenty of unrestricted street parking in front of the house (on a first come first serve basis), the neighboring side street offers unrestricted, overnight, parking from 7:30pm - 7am. If you would rather have a guaranteed, private, off street space for a small fee, please inquire when making your reservation. The Neighborhood: The apartment is just a one minute walk from the most popular bars and restaurants in the H Street Corridor! The neighborhood is teeming with amazing restaurants, lively and unique bars as well as a plethora of entertainment options! From live music, comedy, improv, and stage plays, those interested in the arts or just looking to see something new will not be disappointed! You`re also a short walk to Union Market and Gallaudet University, and a few minutes` Uber ride from a number of other areas, including Chinatown, Eastern Market, and Navy Yard. Getting Around: We are located within just less than 0.5 miles from the brand new DC Streetcar (free for its first year) that runs down H all the way to Union Station - the epicenter of DC`s action! We are also one to three blocks away from several Capital Bikeshares and bus lines, including the D6, 92, 90, X8 & more! There is plenty of free street parking and a ton of available taxis and Ubers nearby. If you feel like taking a stroll, Eastern Market, Union Market, Capitol Hill, the Capitol, and Union Station are all within walking distance. The X8 Bus can take you directly to the Capitol Building in under 20 minutes, or bike there in LESS then 10!! After long days of seeing the sites around DC, we were glad to be able to return to this comfortable one bedroom garden apartment. Everything we needed to cook was at hand, of course with all the great DC restaurants we didn't cook much. The H street corridor was packed with restaurants and was 3 blocks away. Washer and dryer are also a plus as is the scent-free supplies. And the shower! I WANT ONE. I wouldn't recommend for more than 2. We got our steps in with walking to the Mall everyday.

This rental property is very homey and comfortable. Nice place to come back to after exploring all day. The property is about a mile walk from the Union Station where you can catch the Metro or taxis very easily. You can walk to a few places once you get to the Union Station, such as the Capital and the mall area but it is a long walk once you’ve already gotten to the station. We never utilized the trolley and never saw it running either so I can’t comment on that. We used Ubers or the Metro mostly. The closest Metro stop is the Union Station so again, if you’re not in the mood to walk or unable to walk, Ubers are needed to get to any of the monuments. Also, there is nowhere to store your luggage if you arrive before check in or leave after check out so you will need to utilize the luggage storage places that cost money or lug your luggage around if you do not have a car. There is a hefty fee to check in earlier or check out later. The owners were very easy to contact and helpful! Overall, great little place in a nice neighborhood!

The property is clean, well decorated and makes good use of space. It is important to get a free parking pass if you have a vehicle. There is no guaranteed safe space without it. Also it is one queen size bed in a semi-private room and full-size futon in the living space. I would recommend this property. Thank you for allowing us to share your living space. We had a good time.

There are no hotels within 5 miles of this area of Capitol Hill. My daughter lives on the same street, 2blocks away so the apartment was IDEAL! After a busy day w/ my daughter, husband and3 month old grandson it was terrific to come "home" to my very quiet, well stocked apartment for a good nights rest. Thanks so much!
