A sea turtle has chosen the area at the bottom of the beach stairs to lay her eggs. To help protect the nest, beach access from the home is temporarily unavailable. The home itself is unaffected. The closest beach access is Varn Park, just 1.1 miles away. Thank you for helping us protect these beautiful sea turtles!
You simply can’t get any closer to the Atlantic shore than Cozy Cottage. Step off the deck and you’re on the beach. There are no dunes to cross: just you, the sand, and water. There’s so much to love about this 50-year-old cottage that is a charming throwback to Old Florida, but chances are, the covered deck will be the highlight of your stay. Watch the crashing surf as you enjoy your morning coffee or evening meal around the table for six. Best of all, your pets are welcome to join you on your Florida vacation.
Come inside Cozy Cottage to find a vaulted ceiling with a plethora of windows letting in the ocean views, an open-concept design, and beach-inspired décor. The plush living room furniture is arranged in a horseshoe formation, so everyone has a great view of the large HDTV with cable and a DVD player. You also have free Wi-Fi that even works out on the deck. To everyone’s delight, you’ll find lots of toys and games stowed away within Cozy Cottage. The dining table just off the kitchen is a great place to work a jigsaw puzzle, play Uno, Risk, or board games. You may not want to cook at all while at Cozy Cottage, but if you do, you have a well-equipped kitchen with granite all the appliances, cookware, and serving ware you’ll need. Just bring in your ingredients from a local grocery store. Imagine enjoying a freshly caught seafood dinner out in the salty sea air.
With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, you can bring up to six to Cozy Cottage. The primary bedroom is a cheery space with ocean views, a TV, and an en suite bathroom. The en suite is perfect for showering the sand away with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes a queen-size bed with a TV and private access to the deck. The third bedroom is your kid zone with two twin beds and plenty of toys and games for the children. And with another full bathroom with a combo tub/shower everyone will be able to get ready and go without hassle. Imagine enjoying a freshly caught seafood dinner out in the salty sea air.

This home on the beach was perfect for our family. The host graciously accepted our request for a specific need we had at the last minute. In the queen bedroom, you can fall asleep to the view and sound of the ocean waves. We enjoyed the sunrise each morning with our cup of coffee while sitting on the rear deck. And, we also enjoyed the sunset while looking at our assortment of seashells we found on the beach.We had plenty of parking for the 2 SUVs we drove down in. Getting back out into traffic was simple and easy. There are several small restaurants a short distance from this home as well as any shopping need you may have.We plan on booking this home again next year. It's cozy, quiet, and has all the modern conveniences of home.
