About this house rental
This vintage mountain home is charming and cozy. Overlooking the Eastern Continental Divide, the views are astounding. It is a perfect place for a get-away from city life, yet it is close enough to Cashiers for city conveniences. For those who love the outdoors, it is very close to Panthertown Valley hiking area and Sapphire Valley golf and ski resort. For those who prefer indoor activity, there are plenty of shops to peruse in nearby Cashiers and well as in the neighboring town of Highlands. At an elevation of 4300 feet, you will be sure to enjoy open windows and cool, fresh mountain breezes throughout the summer season. It is a great place for both recreation and relaxation!

Wonderful view and location. Older, rustic home, updated master suite. Not recommended for the elderly because of the rock steps to the house.

The house was a little older and more "dated" than we expected based on the photos/description but was very comfortable. It could use some updating, especially the kitchen and baths. The property has a great view, was very private, and the house was very clean and well appointed with needed items/supplies. We would recommend it for it's view, privacy, and convenience to nearby sites and the town of Cashiers.
