Clean, and what we needed for a wedding. A little noise in the evening and the curtains don’t close all the way so you have to get dressed in the bathroom, but the shower is great, and the pull out couch is comfortable.

The room was just as it showed online. The only issue with stay was there was stuff left over from the previous people. There was pizza and ice cream left in fridge. There was stuff left in bathroom, don’t know why that stuff wasn’t tossed out when the place was cleaned. But other then that we enjoyed the area, the pool and where comfortable in the condo

This condo and location are beautiful, airy, and relaxing. The murphy bed and sofa were really very comfortable. Although the murphy bed mattress was covered, the box springs below did have old rusty-looking stains on the sides (maybe from the springs/frame of the bed?). We did not see the DVDs that were supposed to be there, but we really did not look for them. We all had a great time, including our dogs, and we would love to stay at this property again!

Things happened that were NOT in the control of the owner- with the condo pool- and she was amazingly understanding about our disappointment. The location was close to the Parkway Marina where we rented a boat from. Only disappointing factor was the condo location from the water was 'all downhill' so not walkable ( for our family with foot handicaps) but view was fine. It is an efficiency and small, but all of that is disclosed in the description. Would rent again

Very calm and relaxing - totally enjoyed the stay and the neighbors we met - best part of stay was the fireworks were only a mile away or so - easy to get in and out from firework display - the pull down bed was comfortable enough for me but got some complaints from hubby - the fan in the bathroom could have been cleaner and the light didn't work on the deck, but I am sure these were just minor overlooks that will be fixed for any future visitors

Everything was great. The communication with Patti was very clear as to getting into the condo and access to the pool. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the view of the cove and sitting on the balcony and watching the fireworks.

We normally stay at condo elsewhere at lake but decided to do something different so we rented a Vrbo. This place was OK…nothing really special to say about it, other than it was clean. The Murphy bed was ok. The space below TV could have been better utilized by having a dresser there instead of shelf because there is no where to put clothes. There is no closet to hang clothes. The only place you have to hang clothes on is bathroom door. The shower was good. The patio is very tiny but the view is ok. The pool was great. The screen door does not close well. I cooked a full course meal one night and things were a little tight but it worked. It was just OK. It’s a studio, so it’s gonna be small!

The perfect place to get away from the hustle of everyday life. Clean and comfortable, nicely updated studio condo. Beautiful view of the lake, deer roaming the grounds, quiet and peaceful. Loved it. Hope to get back there at some point!

The dog smell was to much, we had to get another place. Owner re cleaned, but we had already moved on. Tried to get some compensation, but that didn't happen. Tried to talk through email, but no response. It is a pet friendly unit, but notified as soon as we could, granddaughter couldn't handle the smell.

Great place if you have a pet. We took a can of lysol and sprayed real good twice. This is not a negative! If you have a pet then others have too. It's to be expected and can't complaint about the price being on the lake. We had a small issue that Patti took care of to our satisfaction. Nice view of the cove with a beautiful sunset. New appliances so that you can cook or go out to eat with enough restaurants within 15 minutes.

Wonderful stay with my partner and our fur babies. Visited with family camping down the road and took our boat out. We rent at Belleview annually and enjoy the pool and the view off the balcony. As the sun rises and sets its absolutely amazing to see off the balcony. The condo was nicely decorated, clean and accommodated everything we needed.

Have stayed at Bellview Bay several times in a few different condos. Location is great, lakefront and quiet area. The pool was nice and not crowded. The unit is very basic and as described. I did notice the hot water isn’t very hot at all. Lukewarm really, but bearable. I am not sure if this issue just started or not as I don’t see any other reviews stating it. There is a musty odor as well and the outside front porch patio really could use attention. We don’t spend a lot of time in the condo itself so if you’re looking for a good location to sleep and just have the necessities, it works great! But no bells or whistles. Plan on not cooking a full meal or anything to that sort. Did have leftover food in the fridge when we arrived as well. Does have Wi-Fi so no issues with not having service.

We had a nice time! The Murphy bed was very soft and the sleeper sofa was firm, so it was nice to have the two options. We did not spend much time in the unit as the weather was beautiful and we were out on the lake but It seemed well equipped for anything cooking wise had we needed it, and we did enjoy having a pool to use as well. Thank you!

The storm door is broken and pieces laying on the outside table. Also looks like someone pried the wood door. It was hard to silence the alarm at times even following directions, not sure its working correctly. All this is different then in May when my neice stayed. Just wanted u to know. The area where this property is located is a perfect location to Smith Mountain Lake. The property is perfect for a weekend getaway. The pictures describe this property well. My husband and I slept on the Murphy bed and my 2 children slept on the coach that turned into a bed. Don’t forget your bed linens or towels. The Dollar General is a short 8 miles away. Upon arrival the property seemed quiet and safe, adjacent to the water, amazingly views of the sunset and lake. Just a few minutes from the marina and SML State Park. I was disappointed that the entryway had weeds in the rock landscape and did not seem appealing. Overall it was perfect for our short weekend to SML.
