The property was very clean and had all the amenities you could think of such as towels, washcloths, sheets, dish cloths and towels, dish washing liquid, hand soap, paper towels and games. The owner was very helpful and they included a book of dining options and places to see. It was my best stay ever at a VRBO, we would definitely stay again.

This location was perfect for a last minute New Years weekend getaway at Smith Mountain Lake. The condo was just as advertised - very clean and comfortable - and very nicely decorated. The unit is small, but perfect for two people. Not overly crowded at all, yet still has all the essentials plus additional little touches (like holiday throw blankets). All communication was very clear. The hosts even left us a little gift - so thoughtful! Shopping and restaurants were within 10 minutes away (we really enjoyed the food & service at Napoli Cowboy), and the host also recommended a nice little community park not too far away. If we ever need a weekend rental for two again, we will definitely try and rent this unit!

Staying at Striper's Landing at Todd's and Rhonda's place was great. The location, amenities, and responsive communication are great. I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting Smith Mountain Lake. .

This property was exactly as advertised. Recently updated and very clean! The only thing you need to bring is food. Everything else you might need is provided by hosts. The host, Todd, was extremely accommodating and very attentive to our needs. There is also a great restaurant one mile up the road, The Blackwater Cafe, and there are several grocery stores and other restaurants about 5 miles away. We had a great time and would definitely rent again.

The condo was perfect. The pool and gas grill were great amenities to have. Todd was such a responsive host making the trip a lot easier. The community was great too, as well as the amazing view of the lake! All in all would recommend and would stay again!

Our first stay at Smith Mountain Lake was a hit! Our condo was clean, neat and inviting! Our hosts were welcoming and accessible and provided 'everything we needed to know info' regarding our stay. It won't be our last visit to the lake!

I owned and operated vacation rentals for over 17 years as well as renovated 4 houses and I am very impressed by the cleanliness and good communication by the owners. We have stayed at Stripers Landing in the past and even considered buying a unit here and I've got to say, I am so incredibly impressed by the quality of the renovations and how well they have outfitted the condo. The kitchen had great appliances (even a dishwasher!), nice cabinetry and so much was artfully packed in this small footprint. Best of all, our 4 legged kid could join us on this trip! We will be back!!! A great value too!

Todd and Rhonda are amazing hosts! The condo is clean and beautifully furnished. The view is astounding and the pool is warm and great for night swimming. This is a beautiful spot to relax and recharge.

My husband, stepdaughter and I came here for a long weekend getaway and fell in love with this little spot! Very clean and updated and lots of cute decor! The property has a very nice pool with views of the Lake! We paddle borded, swam in the pool everyday and cooked on the grill on the private patio. There are some cute restaurants nearby that we also took advantage of. A community park with a beach that we utilized as well for our little dogs to take a dip as well! Overall our first experience at SML was the absolute best and will be back very soon !! The owners are sweet people who communicate with you constantly to make sure your stay is the best and that your happy and that we most definitely were! I highly recommend! Thanks again so much for the hospitality!

We had no troubles, the owner was kind and communicated to let us know our check-in process. You can hear right through walls & floors but we're quiet and were exhausted so we didn't worry about that. We liked it so well, we are already coming back for my birthday in November. Leaves & mountains are gorgeous that time of year & trees are within your view here! 😍

Such a clean and organized place. Exactly what we needed! We were so appreciative of Todd’s communication letting us know about mug cakes in the pantry or kcups we could help ourselves to! It felt like we were staying at a friend’s place. :) Thank you so much for a wonderful experience & for welcoming us so kindly! We were there for a wedding & had a truly amazing long weekend!

Our wonderful stay began with thoughtful messages from our host. It was immediately clear why he is a Superhost. His desire was for us to check in seamlessly and enjoy the property. The condo is well located and well appointed. It was clear that the host anticipated our every need. Our view of the lake was beautiful and the balcony became our go-to spot. Bravo on a job well done!

The condominium was a cozy space with the available space well laid out. The view of the lake was fantastic from the balcony. The interior looked clean and the appliances looked new. The owners were very responsive. I would definitely rent here again.

This was the best experience we have ever had renting through any of the popular rental sites. We felt like we were staying at a friend's house. The unit was clean, well supplied, bed and sheets were comfortable, couch and chair in living room were comfy, wifi worked great, and Todd was wonderful when we had a question. There were so many nice little touches of home throughout the unit, including the available dog bed. :) Stripers Landing is on a quiet cove, (we stayed the weekend before Memorial Day), and we enjoyed fishing off the dock in the early morning while watching deer meander in neighboring properties. We look forward to returning soon!

Waking up, getting coffee, and staring at the lake and environment everyday is wonderful... we rented a Tritoon boat, went horseback riding, fished, and playing golf. Just a great time. The condo was great, super cute! Owners were excellent communicators as well. More please!

The property worked well for us, with easy access to the things we wanted to see and do. Nice private outdoor viewing from the balcony. Just the right size for two and a small dog. Property owner added thoughtful touches that were a pleasant and welcoming surprise to us as we came through the door, in addition to the info book that gave us a good bearing to our surroundings. Very nice decor that reinforced the lake vibe without being overly froo-froo, which allowed us to relax without fear of breaking anything. View was serene and peaceful. Easy communications with property owners, without any overbearing feel of having to be in constant contact. We would definately do this again.
