Super quiet

Its a nice place off the beaten path, but still very convenient to get to the lake or town/ grocery stores. There is black mold in the roof vents and near the electrical panel.

Just to note I reached out to the property owner before leaving this review. The property itself is nice and as listed. We had a problem with black mold in the home. It was in the heating system and the vents have black mold all around them. I alerted the home owner and she thanked me for the feedback and said she would alert housekeeping. It did impact our stay there and therefore reflects in my ratings. If the mold was not in the home I would of rated it higher. I do hope the ventilation/heating system is cleaned before a guest has a severe reaction to the mold.

It was like a step back in time. While I attended a shooting event, my wife enjoyed the close by parks and even a walk to the lake from the house. An amazing housing development < 1 mile away is worth a look. We lived our porch time too

The property was as described. It's close to multiple boat ramps. It was great to have a place to stay that allowed our pets so that we didn't have to arrange for a pet sitter. Would be perfect for a guys fishing trip.

After selling our house, we needed a furnished, pet friendly little place to live in while we looked for a home in the Huntsville area. Paw Paws Place was perfect! Charming, cozy and centrally located, it featured all of the comforts of home- including a laundry room. The screened porch offered a lovely spot to relax after a stressful day of house hunting. Cheryl was a great host and I would recommend this little cabin highly!

We enjoy staying here because it's spacious and clean and close to the lake. Cheryl is always quick to respond if we need anything and extremely nice and so easy to work with. Anytime we come to Guntersville, this is the place we look for to stay at 🙂. You can't go wrong staying here!

Very quiet. Easy to go to bed early so we could fish a bass tournament on Guntersville lake. Room for 3 boats in the yard as well... We will rent again!!

The hose was very nice and cozy. Met all of our needs. It was very comfortable. If we are ever back in the area for multiple days again we would try to stay here. Much better than a hotel room.

We stayed here to fish Guntersville for the weekend and had a great time. We grilled out and cooked dinner every night and breakfast in the morning. There were pots and pans and a charcoal grill that made that possible. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall not bad. One minor thing, the living room rug was dirty. Owner provided a vacuum cleaner so we vacuumed the rug. We enjoyed the quiet location.

This is my second time to stay at this property. My phone provider does not get reception at this property but I really don't care. However, on this trip I did need reception due to a family member's sickness. The owner has had a landline installed since my last visit. I was so thankful. This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to relax and get away from your worries for a while. Owner responds quickly if you have any questions.

Very nice home situated in a very quiet area. This was our first VRBO and we would definitely go there again. Our microwave wasn’t working and it really wasn’t a big deal, but after letting them know, the owners brought a new one over the next morning.
