About this lodge
Convenient to everything.... but a million miles away. Just 20 min. from downtown Chattanooga, this 5 bedroom 5.5 bath home is located high atop Walden's Ridge near Signal Mountain and The Tennessee River. Gorgeous Mountain Retreat is complete with wrap around decks, indoor and outdoor fireplace, Full Kitchen, Dining, and Living Space and all the amenities to ensure you never want to leave! The Game & Movie Room on the lower level provides plenty of entertainment for the kids and kids at heart in your group! High ceilings and exposed beam work create a warm open lodge atmosphere.
WE DO NOT ALLOW pets AT THIS LISTING under any circumstances. This includes service dogs.
Rates are based on an occupancy of 8 persons. Additional charge of $15 per additional guest per night apply.
Be sure to check out listings #1280202 and # 920261, Serene Mountain Retreat and Sparrows Nest. These quaint cabins are the sister properties to Gorgeous Mountain Retreat and can be rented in combination with Gorgeous Mountain Retreat for large reunions and/or retreats.
Parking for guest renting Gorgeous Mountain Retreat ONLY is limited to 4 cars. Please do not park on the grass or pull through the yard.
No Smoking, Vaping or illicit drug use, some of these items leave smells that are near impossible to remove. Your deposit will be withheld if use is detected.

Great stay, beautiful home and no issues what so ever

Contact free check in with a door code. WiFi worked great. It’s about 30 minutes away from any restaurants or grocery stores. The house is super cute with a cottage feel. The showers did have mold growing in the caulk in the upstairs bathrooms. One of the bed sheets weren’t washed and we found dirt and Bobby pins in it. And we found an old yogurt container under the couch when we first got there. Overall, it was a nice place, just needed a little more attention to cleaning details.
