About this house rental
Nestled in Kootenai County, this lovely house for $450 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This Hayden Lake house is a beautiful waterfront home nestled on the northwest shore of Hayden Lake in North Idaho. You will enjoy breathtaking lake and mountain views from the three separate decks or from the expansive dock. It's a great place to renew friendships or to celebrate a family reunion. We are 10 minutes from shopping in downtown Hayden, and 20 minutes from the resort in downtown Coeur d'Alene. Silverwood theme park is 20 minutes away. This large two-story home affords privacy to families or other groups up to 10 people and has 2800 square feet of living space. There are four bedrooms and three baths. The two master suites each have full baths, king-size beds, and lake views with private deck access. A third bedroom has two twin beds, and there is a queen bed in the fourth bedroom. These two bedrooms share a full bath. The home sleeps eight in beds, with two twin air mattresses for extra guests and a Pack & Play for babies (please bring your childs' favorite bedding). The living, dining, and family rooms have lake views with deck access. The three large decks add additional entertaining space. There is a two-car garage and extra off-street parking spaces, as well as a dock that doubles as a sun deck. Guests have the use of a canoe and peddle boat as well. For those with their own ski boat or fishing boat, there is a public boat launch just 5 minutes away. The local ski resorts are Schweitzer Mountain and Silver Mountain. Three adult sisters love to stay by the water for a reunion. This place was perfect we all had pur own bedrooms and bathrooms. The deck was a great place to hang out and.we always love canoe rides.

We had a wonderful time at the lake. It felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. Very quiet and peaceful. The house is much nicer than it looks on the website.

When planning this year's summer family getaway, I had wanted a waterfront home, a home with a good amount of space for 3 couples, and also close enough to civilization and things to do. Northern Idaho was chosen as it was a central location for my husband and I to meet up with our 2 adult sons and their partners.
We loved the lake access, the dock was so fun to hang out on. We enjoyed the boats. A day at Silverwood was fun as well! The home is decorated perfectly. Every evening we had dinner on the deck. The kitchen is well stocked! This home has it all! Additionally, I'm a self proclaimed clean freak and we arrived to a SPOTLESS home. Mike and Chani provided detailed instructions on the home, which I really appreciated. The home has tons of games and movies. Having use of the boats, lifejackets, and other amenities truly made this an "all inclusive" getaway.
Lastly, I'd like to add that Mike called me the day before our trip to warn us about a nearby forest fire. He advised me where to watch for updates, and what the current fire situation was. This was above and beyond anything I would have expected, and SO APPRECIATED. Since I work in emergency services, being prepared and informed are very important to me. Going into the trip armed with knowledge of the fire enabled me to follow Kootenai County for updates, and set my phone up for emergency alerts for that county.

Loved this place from first sight online, then it didn't dissappoint. Nice to be on quieter end of lake, 2 large deck areas to enjoy, roomy living and dining space and comfortable quarters. Kept ceiling fans on almost 24/7 as not much breeze off the lake. Needed more towels when we arrived, and Chani responded quickly by text to resolve problem. We also had concern about long truck and trailer parking, Mike problem solving with us weeks ahead of time, personal assist parking trailer with another vehicle once boat unloaded. Successful family gatheringof 9 adults, hope to go again in a few years!

This is a fantastic place to stay for all ages for enjoying the lake! Convenient location to Silverwood and close enough to town, but remote enough to feel like you have the lake to yourself. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of board games and puzzles for the kids when indoors, no AC but plenty of fans, plenty of life jackets for the pedal boat and canoe, firewood was stocked and ready to go, lots of stairs but well worth it. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

What an amazing house, perfect for our big family. The house was very clean. We had a great time there. My boys had fun fishing from the dock and the girls loved playing in the water. Would highly recommend this house.

Great location and stay on Hayden Lake! Description of the property was spot on. The house was well-appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed lots of time on the decks and down in the dock. Easy check-in process.

This is our second time at this house and it was as great as I remember. The family enjoyed being on the lake which is directly accessible from the house. Appreciated the ceiling and portable fans to fend off the heat. Will definitely be back again.

The house and lake are beautiful. The stairs are no joke. Steep and many. But all the houses are like that in this area. Not the best place for a larger boat. Navigating the road and turn around area was sketchy. All in all we had a wonderful time - the hosts were very responsive and great. Thank you!!!

Comfy home with a lovely view!
The home was exactly as described/pictured - spacious and clean with a gorgeous view over the lake. It's definitely "away from it all!" It was a really comfortable place to hang out with family. The owners' communication was great and they sent very clear and helpful instructions before arrival. We would definitely recommend a stay at this property!

Our daughters wedding took place and we needed a place to stay that would hold our large immediate family. The Lake house was perfect, it was large and spacious, the bedrooms comfortably accommodating as well as the bathrooms. The view was amazing and it was so nice to sit and visit at the end of the day. What a wonderful family time.

What an awesome place to stay! We are so glad we picked this one. Beautiful view of the lake. Very spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen stocked with everything you would need. This is our second time coming to this home and we still love it. My husband and I have five children from 3-12 years old and Grandma joined us as well. First off, these homeowners are super responsive. You can tell they love their lake house and they want all of their guests to love it too! It was fun seeing the improvements Mike and Chani had made over the last year. Our favorite was definitely the beautiful new dock! We had a blast with the canoe, peddle boat, and our kayaks. The kids loved fishing right off the dock (we love that there are fishing rods available for guests use). The water level is super low this year ,due to a mild winter, so we had a beautiful sandy beach for our kids to play for hours. It was so great to have the afternoon shade covering most of the property.
The views from the house are breath taking— we loved eating breakfast while looking out at the peaceful lake.
We went kayaking on the lake and a Bald Eagle flew directly over us TWICE! We were all AMAZED… and couldn’t help ourselves but start singing The Star Spangled Banner.
The homeowners have ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living spaces AND large floor fans for us to move around the house as needed. With temps below 90, the house cools down nicely—especially in the basement.
We created great memories, RELAXED, and will definitely be booking again.

Excellent home! Can’t wait to come back!
My family of 8 (5 children, grandma, my husband and I) stayed in this beautiful home on Hayden Lake. We loved our stay! So much so, we booked for next summer as well! The location on the lake is perfect. We love to kayak and brought our kids’ kayaks from home and had a blast. There is a great canoe and peddle boat available for all— they were a huge hit for both the kids and the adults! Every evening we would fish right off the dock. There is a little beach area right off the dock that was a huge hit for my littles (ages 2 and 4). Every night we had s’mores around the fire pit (there are two fire pits: one on the dock and one in the back yard).
The house was fantastic— it was clean and spacious. Some highlights: playroom downstairs is loaded with games and is huge (my kids loved playing hide and seek), bedrooms were big (the downstairs master is giant! We actually made the huge closet a “bedroom” for our two year old;), the kitchen is stocked, washer and dryer were a huge plus!, amazing views (from both master bedrooms, kitchen, family/dining rooms), the kitchen table fit us all no-problem (with a family our size, this is often hard to find!), the DECK! (we loved playing games and relaxing out on the deck), and plenty of clean bath towels! The house had great WiFi! Our kids are all in online school right now and they had no problem having three zoom meetings going at once with their chromebooks. The owners are super responsive! Mike and Chani were readily available and eager to help us. On Saturday the smoke rolled in from all the fires around us and Chani offered to give us ideas on activities to do in the house! We had a blast even when we were stuck inside baking cookies and playing games! Can’t wait for next year— we plan to rent a boat from the marina that is about 15 minutes away for a couple of days to get some skiing/tubing in too! We would highly recommend this home for a beautiful lake house getaway!

A very nice stay overall. Accommodated 5 adults and 3 littlest very nicely. Kitchen and house water stocked well.Only downsides were no A/C—upstairs was very hot at night—and the dock loses sunlight at around 2:30 due to the side of the lake a few large trees that block the sun from coming in.

We had a family of 8 stay at this lake house. Awesome location, very well stocked with everything you would need. We had plenty of room and the kids loved fishing from the dock. Owners were in communication with us if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Beautiful... peaceful... relaxing
We've stayed on Hayden Lake before and this was our favorite house. Exactly as pictured, clean, great location. Property owners were responsive and very helpful. Views from the house and the dock were lovely. Humming birds everywhere. There were a lot of steps down to the dock, but it was worth it. Once you're sitting on the dock with the view, you're satisfied. Highly recommend. Bonus was the row boat and the paddle boat. Only negitive is we didn't stay long enough.
