Sant' Egidio apartment is located of the ground floor of a 19th C. building and easily accomodates 3 adults (1 is sofa bed). Is a very quiet apartment since orientated to an internal court.
There are 3 stairs to enter the apartment.
The apartment is in typical Tuscan style with beams and joists. Holds 1 large master bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 kitchenette with oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, smoother and small little lounge with flat LED TV and sofa bed. In both bedroom and lounge air conditioning is available. Internet WI-FI connection is free and available together with washing machine.

This was a nice apartment that took a little getting used to! First, we were very happy to see a king bed, as I think the listing mentioned a double. This was a pleasant surprise - and it was very comfortable as we slept very well. We also appreciated the welcome basket of snacks.I think it is important to mention the bathroom and shower. There is not a lot of space and the shower stall is very small. I think it’s important to know ahead of time that if you are a larger than average person (you know who you are - maybe 220 pounds or 6’2), I would recommend that you keep this in mind before booking, as it can be somewhat challenging to maneuver.Another thing to keep in mind is that the washer/dryer is a combo, and it takes a long time for it to cycle through. If you are interested in more of an American style dryer, there is a laundromat right across the street.Enrico was part of the welcoming team, and he went over everything with us (except how to work the tv! Another challenge ) He was very accommodating and we appreciated his assistance.Overall, we had a very nice stay.

The best aspect of this apartment was it's proximity to many sites, a good grocery store, restaurants and public transit. Considering how busy the streets are in this area it was quite quiet. The king size bed was also very appreciated after a busy day sight-seeing.

Wonderful place. Close to everything. Enrico met us at the place. He let us in. He showed us everything m, very nice man. They were very accommodating meeting us early. Bed was very comfortable. The place had everything we needed. I would definitely come back here. Highly recommend!Thank you!

Good location, just needs some routine maintenance. The washer/dryer takes 5 hours and either leaves clothes still wet or blisteringly hot. The iron requires a plug in attachment that you must switch between appliances to make them work. We don’t have this in the US and weren’t told about in at check-in. Also, mosquitoes were a huge issue. There were dozens in the house, and all three of us were left with a ridiculous amount of bites while we slept. We contacted the host about this in the morning and they responded in the afternoon that there bug spray in the cupboard, but there was only a little bit left in the can, barely enough for one room. Later, they sent someone with a plug-in repellent, but we wish the issue had been taken care of beforehand, especially since their fix was so simple (though it didn’t seem effective). Additionally, we tried to use the oven while our clothes were still drying, and the entire apartment lost power. We played with the fuse box and nothing worked until we found another fuse box outside the apartment. The host did not reply until hours later when we had already figured it out.
