The perfect hostel ! :)

Plenty of space and privacy. Good place to meet other travellers

Unfortunately there were traffic works on Canal Street, even at night. Nothing the hostel can do about.

Perfect location to explore New Orleans

Great location at just 9 min walk from the french quarter and close to bus and streetcar stops. Nice staff, clean room and common areas. The room was bigger than I expected, the breakfast was nice to have and better than I expected given that some reviews complained about it. Yes, there were limited choices, but it is a hostel and I found the offer to be proportional to the structure.

My room was on canal street and the window had poor noise isolation so it was very noisy at night with police cars or ambulances passing by. The system to wash the dishes is a bit odd, considering that a single person is not going to fill the whole sink as in the explanations.

The best HI Hostel I have ever stayed

Everything was perfect and it was the best HI Hostel I have ever stayed, and I have experienced many of them in Europe. First of all, the rooms and especially the bathrooms were extremely clean. The bathrooms are not like common bathrooms in the hostel but more like a private bathroom at home, including soap, body motion, and free towels. Beds were exactly how they should look in the best hostels: new comfy mattresses, more than 2 meters long, with an extra long quilt with two pillows. The bed included a shelf for personal belongings including the USB charger. Another benefit is one card that opens every door in the Hostel and it also your box in the room is locked by this card. The breakfast is served for free and includes a variety of breads and bagels, cereals, fresh cheese, eggs, yoghurt, juice and bananas. The price is really low for this comfort and location.

Wonderful place to stay

Bunks are comfy and private, free breakfast is a lovely touch. Easy walk to Frech Quarter and everything you want to see

Excellent friendly space in the CBD

Breakfast was good. Location optimal! I loved the great room with comfy chairs and loaner books.

more hooks and towel bars in guest rooms, a place to set a toiletries bag in the bathrooms. Could use a couple toilet-only washroom on each floor: prime time was dicey with people showering and primping.

Clean, friendly staff, sleeping bunks are great I was never disturbed by my bunk mate bc he was moving around in/out of bunk. Lockers next to bed with outlets in them for your devices and they lock/,unlock with your key and.

Fabulous! Absolutely perfect for our family trip to explore NOLA.

We absolutely loved this hostel! It was incredibly welcoming and had everything we needed. It was safe and well secured. It was in a PERFECT location for seeing all of NOLA. (Street car lines within steps of the front door and easily walkable into French Quarter). We stayed in a family room with our 13 and 11 year old and we kept food and cooked in the kitchen as well as used the laundry ($2 a load (wash and dry) paid at front desk). Beds were comfy and kids loved the very solid bunk. It was truly perfect. Staff were all amazing and it really felt like a little travel community. Would stay here over any hotel when it comes to practical accommodations.

Great, nice and clean. Best Hostel Breakfast ever.

I have slept in a few Hi Hostels so far, and this one was definetly the best of them. Great rooms (keycard-lockabel cabinet, comfy bed with curtains and really nice bathrooms). In the bathrooms you can always get your own floor mat, which is absolutly appreciated.

Nothing, I had a great stay. It could be a little bit cheaper, since it is a Hostel.

Great spot to explore town from on a budget.

Location was amazing. The beds were nice.

The elevator was really slow. Breakfast was basic and ended kind of early for a "party town". At least go to 11.

Best place in NOLA!!

This has got to be the best hostel I've ever stayed in either Europe or North America!! Amazing setup and facilities in a good location, with alot of thoughtful touches in what guests might need. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Only downside unfortunately was some disrespectful roommates being loud and inconsiderate at ungodly hours Wish they had 4 bed dorms for those that like a little less party vibes in their rooms

The best hostel you will ever stay at!

It’s very well thought out. The staff were so kind and went the extra mile. Your valuables were well protected and the beds were comfortable. The lay out and size is very big and comfy that you can just hang there without needing to leave

The elevator took centuries and the rooms to the doors were very noisy.

Nous avons pris 5 nuits et n’avons pas eu une seule serviette de rechange ni ménage. Les fenêtres ne s’ouvrent pas le seul point négatif.
