Situated in Playa Flamingo, this attractive condo for $198 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Flamingo Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Costa Rica. The white sand, fun & beautiful waves are all so close to Oceanica, making this condo not only an excellent value but a gorgeous and unforgettable vacation! This condo has unobstructed views of the Pacific ocean and bay overlooking Potrero (to the north), from every spacious bedroom (each with its own walk-out balcony) and living area. Enjoy this beautiful and bright oceanview condo, as well as easy-to-work-in kitchen loaded with supplies and appliances. Both bedrooms have amazing ocean or bay views, walk-out balconies, aircon, fans and TV's. The master suite has a custom built Guanacaste wood, king size bed with orthopedic mattress, fluffy pillows and designer sheets. Plenty of comfort along with a new flat-screen TV's in each room. Enjoy the extra large bathroom with huge closet space and plenty of room for two in the mornings. The 2nd, Queen bed and dresser are custom crafted from local woods and created with love & care. There is plenty of closet and storage space, lighting, ceiling fan, TV and of course, air conditioning. Plus 2 walk-out balconies! The spacious and comfortable living area with plenty of seating is large and centered around the new 50" Smart, flat-screen TV with DVD player. A Smart TV is like having a giant desktop computer at your fingertips. Not only can use the supplied HDMI cable to watch your favorite selections from your computer but you can access all your favorite websites, Google, e-mail, FB, YouTube etc too! It's excellent, new technology available to you. Of course there is wireless internet (WiFi), (including a NEW hi-powered router purchased in 2018), even while relaxing on the covered oceanview balcony with plenty of outdoor seating (1 couch, 2 plush chairs & 2 bar stools and a brand new gas grill). The kitchen is very workable with eat-in dining table as well as bar seating. The kitchen is fully equipped with tons of utensils, pots, pans and appliances. The owner was a former chef, so there is plenty of cookware, plates, glasses and tons of other cooking and kitchen smallwares. Complete with range, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, blender, toaster, stainless fridge with icemaker and filtered water dispenser, granite countertops and double sink. It's really a cook's dream! The double stack full-size washer, dryer are located in a separate room behind the kitchen. Use this room for additional storage if needed too. In fact, the kitchen has a large pantry cabinet suitable for storing extra items and large quantities of food. The condo even comes with beach chairs, umbrella, a coolers and beach towels. Prepare your favorite meals and enjoy the gourmet BBQ gas grill located on the balcony, along with plenty of gourmet cookware and kitchen utensils provided. Oceanica has an elevator, making it easy to transport luggage, groceries or for those who don't like stairs. Oceanica has plenty of parking, a large community pool with a shower, as well as a rancho for outdoor BBQ's or just relaxing by the pool with the ocean in the background. Pamela's condo is beyond awesome! The views are incredible and the pictures don't do it justice. Pamela has everything in the condo that you would need or anticipate needing. She checks you in and has great tips for excursions. We couldn't have found a better location and beautiful condo. We will definitely be back. Thank you Pamela for sharing your second home.

In 15 years of travel and stays; Pamela's place had the greatest view we've ever witnessed. Adding to the amazing stay were: comfortable beds, excellent wifi, perfectly-clean & safe location, and a top notch unit with everything you need inside it. She is a great super-host. At the risk of decreasing availability of this property for our next trip, we give this property five stars across all categories. The photos and description on the site are 100% accurate. The beach and the town of Flamingo are a short walk from the property.
Pamela is a wonderful host and was very helpful with arranging transportation and car rental. Her property is very clean and has a tremendous view of the ocean. We stayed here for 26 days and will definitely return.

We absolutely loved everything about this place. The condo was perfect, clean, comfortable, and well supplied. You can’t beat the location. Just a few steps from the beach and the most incredible sunsets from the balcony. We loved the small town feel. Many great restaurants and the locals were incredible friendly. We made a trip to Tamarindo, which had many more restaurants and shops, but we definitely preferred the quaintness of Playa Flamingo. Pamela was also fabulous to work with. So helpful and accommodating. Can’t wait to visit again.

Stayed several times in Guanacaste and this condo and stay were the best. Location is perfect for a short walk to the beach or for a restaurant in the small downtown. Pamela was a great host with any questions answered. Beach chairs, a boogie board and spices/cooking needs exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend for groups of 4 or less.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Oceanica condo and loved every minute of it! The condo and the views from the balconies were absolutely beautiful. Pamela was so helpful in our planning process, going above and beyond to help us with a car rental, tours, & shuttles. The condo has all the amenities you could need, and stores, restaurants, and beaches are right around the corner. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!!

Could not be better! Pamela, our host, arranged everything and her referrals set us up for a perfect vacation. Her car rental contact, restaurant referrals and suggestions worked out perfectly. The view from her Condo is incredible and the pictures on her listing don't do it justice.
Some hints: you will want a car - the walk from Flamingo Beach is steep. AVOID eating at Margaritaville- overpriced, grungy and infested with racoons at night that will climb on your upper level table and extra chairs.
Loco Coco is great and there are many other very good places to eat.
A well stocked grocery store is less than 5 minutes by car.
Flamingo Beach is wonderful with great surf for boogie boarding or just relaxing.
There is a BBQ in the unit but use the one by the pool. There are tables and sink for food preparation there.

This is our first trip to Costa Rica, and we could not be more pleased with this condo and the host. We had ocean views, super clean condo, and the host was very communicative in advance and greeted us and provided some details about the spacious 2BR 2 BA unit. We enjoyed sunset views of Flamingo Beach and the breeze on the patio. Perfect mobility for my 80 year old mother who has trouble with steps and stairs. We would stay here again, and highly recommend you book this unit. We were super pleased with surrounding area, come stay here, great food in the area, nice people, great unit.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property in Playa Flamingo. Pamela was a fantastic host. The condo was spotless and had all the amenities you could ask for. Access to the beach was just a short walk or drive away and the infinity pool at the facility was very nice. Again, Pamela was an excellent host and even took care of reserving our rental car. She was just a call away if we needed any assistance. The view of the sunset from the patio was absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend this condo!!!!!

We loved staying in Pamela’s condo in Flamingo! Beautiful place in a great location. We walked to the beach during the day and restaurants in the evening. Everything was clean and well kept. The balcony was lovely for enjoying morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. I would stay here again if in the area!

If I were a selfish individual, I would write a bad review in hopes that when we want to rent this condo again the bad review would reduce the number of people wanting to rent Pamela’s condo ensuring it is available for us to rent again. Unfortunately, I can’t do that because it wouldn’t be a truthful review because this condo is perfect in every way.
This was our first stay in Costa Rica and was exactly as described. It was very well stocked with what you need should you decide to create your own meals, which we did for the most part. It is very well decorated and clean thanks to Pamela’s wonderful housekeeper Ana. The views from the balconies are breathtaking.
Pamela met us for both the check-in and check-out process and explained everything you need to know about the condo, Playa Flamingo and surrounding area. It’s in a great location, close to the beach, stores, many restaurants and local markets. We stayed for two months and did not rent a car or golf cart. We just walked to grocery stores when our food supply ran low. There is a small Super Massii just steps away from the condo or larger one that is stocked with a greater variety of goods approximately two kilometers away (which we would walk to with backpacks on a weekly basis). The pool area is a nice spot to relax in and read a book or to simply take a dip in and is very well maintained. The beach is one of the nicest we have ever been to. The property maintenance and security personal are outstanding in the work and care they take to ensure your stay is a fantastic one.
Bottom line is that we loved the condo, people and especially Pamela for allowing us to stay in a place she truly loves. We plan to return and always say when we leave that instead of being sad because it’s over that we are be happy because it happened, and it sure did here.

The apartment is exceptional and extremely well appointed and equipped. This is by far and above the best apartment we have stayed at in Oceanica. We have been visiting for over ten years and this was the most complete and clean apartment where everything worked. The dish washer is a big plus and the free cleaning was special and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Will absolutely return.

Because it is a corner unit, the views go on forever. We also enjoyed using the pool everyday. Most days we were the only two in the pool. The staff at the condo are very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place to stay at Flamingo Beach, this is an excellent choice.

The entire trip was wonderful, beautiful country, with amazing beaches. Most importantly, the condo and owner are top notch. Large well appointed apartment, with million dollar views. All of this was amplified by how nice and helpful Pam was (owner). I highly recommend this property!!!!!!!!!

The condo was perfect
Pamela is the best host! She gave us tips on what to do in the area. She called Goose, a tour operator, that called us to set up an itinerary of what we wanted to do and then made an plan for a private day tour. The condo was super clean, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops! All the restaurants in the plaza (walking distance) were really good! They had a farmers market every Monday and we bought tons of soaps, lotions, jewelry and candles made in Costa Rica. The location was perfect and it had everything we needed like beach chairs, coolers, floaties, umbrella, beach towels, coffee, milk, laundry soap and some toiletries. The condo is centrally located to explore the difference beaches and beauty of CR. The beds were comfortable. The condo is bigger in person. We want to buy this place to enjoy it over and over! The hill to the beach is not bad and it has a great views of playa flamingo. The 4 balconies from the unit gave us the best sunrises and sunsets. You cannot beat listening to the sound of waves everyday! Thanks Pamela for an awesome first trip to Costa Rica! Pura vida! We will be back!

This condo was amazing, from the beautiful views to the FABULOUS property. It was modern, well appointed, CLEAN, lovely pool, and everything was in working order. Pamela was GREAT providing amenities and very helpful recommendations for the area.

The Condo is very clean and well maintained by Pamela, the owner who resides nearby and is easily accessible. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals at home. We also enjoyed using the BBQ on the balcony. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The beds are comfy and the main balcony is spacious. We spent 5 amazing weeks there. Lovely people, long walks on the beach and many interesting sidetrips were taken. We will be back Pamela

The unit was extremely clean. The view is great (as the pictures indicate) even though the unit is on the third floor. The best thing about the rental, however, is the owner. Pamela was outstanding from the moment we booked. She arranged a rental car for us and provided lots of great advice.
A few restaurant recommendations: Papaya just south of the Westin Conchal and Angelina's.
Our son enjoyed his surf lessons at Iguana Surf in Tamarindo.
Covid testing was easy. We did it at the Beach Side clinic in Huacas. The online form was simple and we got our results quickly. We did have to go to the clinic in person to get an appointment (although I think we could have just shown up).
Overall, an an outstanding stay in an outstanding unit. We will definitely try to book here when we come back.

Everything was perfect.
Pamela let us in the unit early and met us at the property. Communication was easy and prompt. The attention to detail is fantastic. The master bed was comfy (we didn’t use the other bed) as was all of the furniture. It felt like a throwback to the early days of vrbo when you weee really living in someone’s home. There were sharp knives!!! Everything you need to cook at home was provided. The pool is small and cold but has a nice rancho attached. The walk to the beach is fine but walking back is a challenge unless you are pretty fit. We had a car and used it daily as there is little in the way of grocery or other shopping. There is a great bakery up the road - agua y sel - some of the best pastries I have had. We moved to a different unit in the same complex and are very sad that we didn’t stay at Pamela’s for the entire visit

Wonderful!
Pamela is a very attentive and helpful Host. She offered to help us with our car rental and tours before we arrived in Costa Rica. Upon arriving she met us at the condo and gave us a quick tour, hints on keeping cool, and offered suggestions for our stay. The condo is well stocked with towels, dishes, beach essentials; such as towels, chairs, coolers, ect. The corner location was perfect especially for enjoying the ocean view.
We enjoyed our stay in Playa Flamingo so much we extended our stay 2 days. We would definitely get in touch with Pamela when we return and would most definitely recommend renting this condo. .

I would send pictures of the sunsets to my friends and family, they thought I was sending stock photos from Google. I would watch the sunset from the main porch facing due west (one of 4 porches).. I could tell when it was going to be a beautiful sunset, I would quickly walk to beach (5 Min) to watch it, or just enjoy it from the condo. In the mornings I would rise at 5:00am to see the sunrise over the mountains in the east...to see the morning fog burn off the mountains was incredible. I loved hearing the morning birds...as Fabian(security guard) said..."they are happy birds of the morning." I enjoyed morning walks on the white sands of Flamingo Beach...most days my footprints were the first ones!
Pamela is a great hostess, the condo had everything you needed. She is a wealth of information, if you have questions she has answers...you can tell how much she loves Costa Rica....and of course the condo was immaculate!! The property is maintained and secured by a wonderful group of people: Triny, Luis, Michael, Fabian, and Ana..are fantastic I always felt safe and cared for. I initially booked Pamela's condo for two weeks, I enjoyed it so much I booked an additional week!! Plenty of restaurants, stores, even a pharmacy in walking distance...even more in a short taxi ride...For my first time in country I could not have had a better experience!! Pamela even booked a driver... Heiner "Goose"...to meet me at the airport!! Pamela...Thank You for teaching me the true meaning of "Pura Vida"

We loved every part of our weeklong stay at Oceanica. The condo is clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The views from the balcony and master bedroom are amazing and the location just a short walk to the water can't be beat. The beach is one of the prettiest we've seen in Costa Rica and the entire Playa Flamingo area has plenty of restaurants, groceries and adventure tour options. Pamela is a wonderful host who helped us with car rental and other arrangements. She was very communicative and provided excellent information about our stay and the area. We miss it already and will definitely be coming back to stay at Pamela's wonderful condo!
