The onsen was great. The owner was very friendly. She leant us a phone cable and also provided extra bowls and things. Its a cheap and cheerful place. We used it for hiking in the Kirishima National Park. It has a relaxed atmosphere. Its a little run down but I found that comfortable. I would definitely go back and use it as a base for a few days.
The walls are very thin - you can hear exactly what's going on next door. Some people may not like its a little old and rundown.

자연 속에 있어 조용히 있고 싶을 때 좋을 듯 합니다
여름이나 봄가을에 방문하면 더 좋을 것 같네요
찾아가기 힘든 점, 좁은길 올라가거나 내려갈 때 다른 방향 차량과 마주하면 난처함
노천온천은 휴관, 이점이 아쉽더군요
겨울 추울 때는 방이 많이 춥습니다
