About this cabin rental
Tucked along a winding mountain road with stunning views, Sweet Surrender is a romantic getaway with one bedroom and two bathrooms. The excitement has now become a reality as you locate the perfectly manicured drive, complete with a split rail fence that guides you along, to your long-awaited getaway.
As you walk hand in hand to the steps of Sweet Surrender you are greeted immediately by a view that appears to have been painted just for your arrival. You will first enter the main floor living area that has a full kitchen and the living room. The light shines through the massive windows and lights the space with a warm glow that makes the cathedral ceilings dance with light. There is cozy seating, including a sofa and two recliners, for evenings spent catching up on movies or if you prefer just watching the flames flicker in the stone gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked and houses a table for two. Though a table is provided, we recommend the deck table where you are surrounded by crisp mountain air and a five-star view.
The expansive deck will inevitably become a favorite space for the two of you as you watch the view from the porch swing, with a morning cup of coffee from the Keurig, begin to transform as the hours pass and sunset falls. The hot tub is ready for you to relax, and the view is unobstructed from any seat.
The stresses of the world are non-existent as you climb the stairs to your private escape. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed with gorgeous mountain views, a two person Jacuzzi and a flat-screen TV. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Spend time in Gatlinburg and its surrounding areas. You’ll find a host of delicious restaurants, eclectic shops and fun family entertainment. Check out Ripley’s Aquarium, or take a scenic gondola ride along the slopes of Ober Gatlinburg. Very nice cabin - clean, great view and perfect for a couple. Was easy to find and close to either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge (less than 10 minutes). Porch swing and hot tub on deck were wonderful after exploring all day. And a very good choice of DVDs for movie night. I have stayed at over 15 cabins in the area over the years and this would rate at or near the top. Very satisfied.

The cabin is cozy enough, the Hot tub was warm enough, just very hard water, lots of stink bugs, the jacuzzi didn't have a plug and jets didn't work, upstairs toilet and shower are very tite, when they say they have no Seasonings they're not lieing , not even salt or pepper, there were only 2 bath towels, 2 bath wash cloths, and about 3 hand towels, no charcoal grill, other then that, we enjoyed our stay.When I gave thumbs down on our 3rd day there, the host quickly called me to see what was wrong.For the maintenance personnel;There are several faucets that leak water out from under faucet when turned on, the shower heard in the downstairs bathroom sprays water on the wall above the tub surround and could cause potential mold issues.We observed quite a lot of Bumble Bee activity, Borring holes ETC. Don't know what can be done about it, just letting you.

Location of house is great and internet was solid. Design choices and general upkeep are questionable. Driveway gravel washed out near road, gutter hanging off roof near deck on left side so water gets everywhere when you’re trying to use swing during rain. Deck has several loose and broken deck boards. Dirty weird children clothing all over the house (friends that own several rentals sent back a puke sign when we sent pics to them). Clothes hanging over jacuzzi have what looked like blood stains and outside front door tins of trash all over hill. Upstairs toilet and shower are functionally unusable in size to normal size adults. Keurig coffee maker rather than old school drip coffe maker, but not a single keurig cup provided… Lack of a grill is a cherry on top downside as well. Stayed in a few dozen rentals in smoky mountains and this one on the outside looks great but offers so little and just the basic compared to similarly priced cabins. Response from rental company regards to stained clothes and maintenance resolution and follow through was lackluster at best.
