About this cabin rental
This real log cabin is perfectly located in Sky Harbor between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. You can be in either town in less than 8 to 10 minutes. Welcome to our pet-friendly cabin where the peaceful and picturesque setting will make you relax and enjoy all that the Smokey Mountains has to offer. Trust me the pictures of this wonderful cabin do in no way do it justice. If the week is booked and there are 1 or 2 days left open and you would like to book the days please send me a request and we can get the days booked for you. Our cabin is conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge on well-maintained paved roads. The gentle drive to our authentic log cabin will be easy on your nerves as well as your vehicle. Situated in a beautiful location with plenty of paved parking, a paved driveway, a large yard, along with lots of open space. This is not a (cookie-cutter stacked cabin) you are not right on top of another cabin so you feel more at home. Cable TV, with local channels, is provided on all three televisions. The cabin also has internet with WIFI but absolutely no charging of EV at this cabin. Cell Phone reception for most major providers. If you need to call me please do owner Bonnie 985-515-2477
PET-FRIENDLY: Well-behaved house-trained dogs, are welcome with owner approval. But we do ask our guests to please place your four-legged family members in the kennel provided while you are out exploring the area. We also ask that if you would please raise all blinds in the cabin so they are not damaged by your pets. And please pick up your pets poop and put in trash can outside. All damages including the blinds are the responsibility of the pet owner.
MASTER BEDROOM: This bedroom is on the upper level it has a King size bed. This bedroom has a large TV. Adjoining this bedroom is a wonderful master bathroom with a shower as well as a balcony for relaxing.
SECOND BEDROOM: The second bedroom is located downstairs. It has a Queen size bed and television There is another large bath adjoining this bedroom with a large whirlpool garden tub to relax and enjoy.
LIVING AREA: The living area has a leather sofa and recliner as well as a rocking chair to enjoy with family and friends. You can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or coffee as you enjoy yourself by the cozy fireplace in the winter months. Fireplace only to be utilized from October 15th thru March 15th, please.
KITCHEN AREA: There is a counter bar with three bar stools. The kitchen is fully furnished with cookware and dishes and all that you will need.
OUTSIDE: The huge wrap around porch offers wonderful winter views as well as partial summer views. You can enjoy a morning cup of coffee while swinging in the swing or in the rocking chairs on the covered porch as well as enjoy a large hot tub to soak your worries away. Outdoor park-style charcoal grill for BBQ's and grilling.
PARKING: There is plenty of parking at the cabin for 4 to 5 cars. There is also plenty of level parking for motorcycles at the top of the driveway directly in front of the cabin. Please do not attempt to park motorcycles on the side of the cabin due to the parking area is designated for automobile parking only. The cabin can be easily reached by towing a trailer but trailers over 20 ft may have issues due to mountain roads. When we got there the cabin was in excellent shape. Everything was clean. There were towels for the hot tub neatly rolled and placed in a cute tub by the door. Everything was laid out and easy to find. We stayed a week and having the washer and dryer helped a lot. We brought our own towels and only used a couple of the towels there. The cabin was laid out perfectly for us. We had two French bulldogs with us and we brought along their two kennels, but only had to use one of them because there was a kennel in the cabin already. The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you would need and that helped a great deal. There isn’t much of a mountain view because the trees are right up to the cabin almost which made it nice and private. There are a couple cabins close by, but it still feels private because they are not right up on you. You just have to make sure you wear your swimsuit in the hot tub lol. The hot tub doesn’t blow real strong. It has a high and low, but it just isn’t very strong. I didn’t use the hot tub much. I used the bathroom jacuzzi tub several times and it worked perfectly. So relaxing! I got to meet one of the owners, Chancy, and he was really nice and respectful. I talked to Bonnie, the other owner, via text a couple of times and she was very responsive and helpful. They were both outstanding hosts! If the cabin doesn’t sell we will definitely stay there again next year! Thank you Bonnie and Chancy!

Awesome place! Directions to cabin were spot on; we had no trouble finding it. Perfect location to get to either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Loved being able to take the back roads to Glades Road in order to visit the Artist's Colony's shops and avoid the commercialism of downtown Gatlinburg...and the traffic! Grocery store was close by too. The cabin itself was very clean and spacious. Our hosts, Chauncy and Bonnie, were very gracious and paid a lot of attention to small details to make our visit wonderful. We took our medium sized Golden Doodle, and they provided a kennel and dog food/water bowls, so we didn't have to haul our own. (Thank you!) The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Although a hot tub was available, we chose not to use it but we did make use of the wrap-around deck and the rocking chairs! We were forewarned to be careful of bears which indeed, one decided to show up and sauntered past our car on its way to taking a short cut into the woods. Highly recommend!!!

The cabin was wonderful and cozy! We enjoyed the hot tub after riding motorcycles each day and the surroundings felt very private.

We had a very relaxing stay. The hot tub was definitely a plus. The mountain location was not difficult to get to and just a mildly winding road 10 minutes off the main strip. We enjoyed the sounds of nature and the view of the spring foliage. The host provided clear and timely information and instructions. Definitely recommend.
