About this cabin rental

Located in Lake Lure, this lovely cabin for $156 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. ~PLEASE READ MY REVIEWS~ This is a cute little log cabin, on a paved road, just off of Hwy 64 in Lake Lure. It's only 3 minutes from the Public Beach. It’s a new log cabin with all the modern comforts of home including; central heat and air, washer/dryer, fridge with ice maker, and dishwasher with all the appliances. This cabin has two great bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom is very cute and has the intimate feeling of being in a loft with a view of the mountains and log bed. The down stairs bedroom is cozy with a delightful feeling of home. Both beds are Queen size and there are hang up closets in both bedrooms. All the bedroom are tastefully furnished with lots of drawers for plenty of storage. The down stairs is very cozy with a cathedral ceiling and a glass wall that provides a stunning view of the mountains. There is a comfy gas log fireplace to help take the chill off at night. On the wrap around deck you can smell the fresh mountain air, hear the birds, perhaps see the local deer, and gaze at the excellent view of the mountains. The deck also has 4 Adirondack chairs and a BBQ grill. and a cute little bistro table that is excellent for enjoying dinner or morning coffee outdoors, and to soak up the wonderful view. I also have a variety of DVDs for a great 'movie night' including free popcorn. On us. Another little Plus, is along with the Key to the cabin there is an 'Ingles Advantage' card for discounts at the local grocery store. So they'll treat you like a local. Come and stay at this 'Cute Little Log Cabin for Rent'. You'll love it, just like just like the others have. Thanks for considering it. Cabin was private and very close to Chimney Rock. We enjoyed how quiet it was. Our only complaint is the mattress for each bed was uncomfortable. It’s important to rest well with the hiking involved when visiting the mountains and waterfalls… we struggled to sleep. New mattresses and this spot is sweet!

Cute cabin but needs some TLC to be even better. Great location and pretty Mountain View. If windows had been clean it would have been great to see out from inside. Mattress and pillows downstairs were not comfortable and need to be replaced. A good cleaning overall is needed! We still enjoyed staying for one night along with our dog.

Enjoyed our stay so much! A sweet little cabin with everything we could need. Before our stay, I asked Bob if the tub had grab bars, and he said there would be by the time we arrived. True to his word, they were there. Thank you Bob!

We really liked the spacious cabin. It was clean and we had plenty of space. It was also nice that it was close to all the places we visit. We've stayed at a nearby cabin before and live the quiet location. We highly recommend this cabin and will be looking forward to next year's stay.

My daughter and I met for a visit at Chimney Rock. The cabin is beautiful and cozy, and we made ourselves right at home. We loved relaxing on the deck and having a glass of wine. We had such a fun visit and climbed the 500 steps to the top of Chimney Rock with our 2 dogs and walked the trail to the waterfall! There were so many wonderful restaurants along the riverfront and the stores were fun to pop into. So many memories were made. Thank you! I can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The couches were very low and soft which made it difficult to go from sitting to standing if you are older but all in all the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Would stay there again!!

We enjoyed our brief stay in this cute cabin. It was easily accessible, but located in a quiet neighborhood. The cabin was clean and communication was excellent: we received a notification ahead of time with the lock code, and a second update when the cabin was ready ahead of our scheduled check-in time. The list of check-out requests was conveniently posted right next to the door, and was very reasonable. The location was convenient to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and Tryon, but still managed to feel like it was away from it all. Overall, it was a very good stay.

We had a great time at Lake Lure. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed to cook, nice rooms and a wonderful living room to play games/watch TV together. One thing that always stands out is water pressure and water temperature. This cabin provided perfect showers! Couldn’t say enough about that. Overall, it’s in a great location and was easy to find. Has a place for two parking spots, big front deck area, an upstairs room with an additional loft area. Will be coming back! Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin.

Cabin was exactly as pictured. Our family & our two pups loved how cozy it was & the view was amazing. It was a perfect getaway for our family for Christmas this year. The super low temperatures had it a bit chilly at first but Bob was quick to get us warmed back up! We absolutely loved it!

Had a great time. Enjoyed spending time with friends I haven’t seen in 20 years. Hiking was the highlight of our trip. It was off season, but I enjoyed it and learned about creating Lake Lure. I did not know it was man made. We went to a restaurant called Highlands (?) and it was one of the best places to eat that I’ve ever been and I’m culinary school graduate. All over- it was a great time. Wish I could go every weekend!
