The house was beautifully decorated and super clean beyond what I can even describe, it felt like we were staying in a setting out of a magazine. The kitchen had everything you could ever need to prep meals and even had some basic food stocked in the pantry. Tony provided some toiletries just like a high-end hotel and even slippers for everyone. The backyard and deck with a huge firepit was surrounded by amazing landscaping and flowers and had a great private fence around the whole yard. The location was perfect for walking 1 block to downtown, 2 blocks to the beach and there was a handy food market right at the corner of the street. We walked everywhere easily! Tony was amazing host and we are already talking about going back to the house! Can not recommend enough!!

Tony was great ! Communicated with us prior to coming out to the home and the day of was on standby if there was any questions or anything that had to be answered which we really appreciated. The home location was nestled perfectly one block from downtown Charlevoix. Really cute up north home with a feeling of that special Americana tradition. Very clean and organized and had a feeling of homeliness to us. Wonderful stay!

This property was in the perfect location to walk to downtown, the grocery store, playgrounds and restaurants. While we enjoyed eating out and didnât cook while we were there we did notice the kitchen was well equipped with anything you may need.

Wonderful home with everything we need.
This was the second consecutive year we stayed at Tony's for a week, and it was great! We especially like the location... a 10 minute walk to Lake Michigan, and a 4 minute walk to downtown and the grocery store. This was very convenient as we cooked all our meals in the fabulous kitchen. Other favorites: The espresso machine, the fire pit, the large dining tables (both on the deck and in the house), and the furnishings which were both nice AND comfortable.

Loved our time in northern Michigan
This beautiful house set the stage for a wonderful time in northern Michigan. The home was beautifully decorated, yet it was homey for all of us. The grandkids were in love with the bunk beds and the painted stairway. The adults enjoyed the claw-foot tub and the showers with never-ending hot water.

Fantastic Location and Property
The house itself was exactly as advertised in the pictures...it was super comfortable with a fabulous location (practically perfect). Just a short walk to a grocery store (Oleson's) which was super convenient, as well as downtown Charlevoix. In the opposite direction, just a few blocks away was Lake Michigan. The house itself was very clean and extremely well-stocked with all the essentials, plus some. When a problem arose, Tony was easy to contact, prompt in communicating and getting the problem taken care of. We would definitely rent this house again!

Charlevoix charmer with amazing amenities, location, charm, and host
We loved our trip to Charlevoix and this beautiful historic home. Tony made us feel like we had a personal concierge, with the way that he reached out to us, but more importantly, how he had the house set up before we arrived. So much attention to detail and comfort...Keurig's in each guest room, so that you could enjoy a cup of coffee first thing in the morning...fully stocked house, pantry, wood for fire pit...High quality linens...luxurious beds...games... books about the area...and decor right out of a magazine. We are already planning a trip back to the area just to stay at this comfy, relaxing home. Thanks to Tony and his family.

Beautiful home away from home
This was our 3rd year vacationing in Charlevoix, and this was our favorite house yet. Our family (3 couples and 2 children) loved the location, so close to Olesonâs, Bridge Street and Lake Michigan. We really liked the beautiful decor, including the functional, well-stocked kitchen. We had fun using the fire pit stocked with enough wood for our stay. We appreciated the large dining tables both in the spacious dining room and outside on the deck. We also enjoyed Tonyâs book illustrating his hard work remodeling this 1870âs home. The home is just as pictured and we highly recommend!

Beautiful house steps from downtown
A beautiful restoration of and older house perfect for one or two families. House was super clean and well appointed with everything you would want. Location is just a few blocks off Main Street, far enough that it is quiet and peaceful but easy access to food and shopping. House has four porches and great fire pit area, waking or two minute drive to Lake Michigan beach. A real gem and a great week!

The property was perfect and allowed us to enjoy a short trip to Charlevoix The Beautiful. The deck and backyard are a great retreat after a day of exploring the town. We had 3 adult couples and a 9 month old. The amount of space was perfect!

Wonderful stay. Best VRBO I've ever been to. We loved every detail of the decor and the fully stocked kitchen - everything we could need. We had a quick question for the property owner who returned our call in 2 min on Saturday night. Highly recommend and worth the price.

This place had it all! From hair blow dryers and curling irons in the bathrooms, to spices and seasoning, to bonfire supplies and then some! This place was so prepared for us to host our bachelorette party, plus it was so beautifully decorated! We will be recommending this location to everyone we know looking to stay in charlevoix!!
