Nestled in Saint George Island, this attractive house for $751 per night is a great option for your next break. Island Princess is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath home on the beach. 2 large Master bedrooms with king size beds and bath. 1 large bedroom with queen size bed and bath. 1 bedroom with twin beds with bath. The kitchen and living room are open. There is plenty of room to sit at the dining room table (seats 6) or at the kitchen bar. The exterior has a walk around porch. The back porch has three Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. Walk out the back door and down the boardwalk and you are sitting on the beach. You have gorgeous views of the beach from inside the home with a private gunite swimming pool. Pool is heated to 84 degrees in March, April, May, September and October. The Pool is NOT heated in November, December, January and February. Lay out chairs are provided around the pool along with a concrete table and chairs. Everything is within walking distance. You can rent bikes and golf carts on the island. Historic Apalachicola is just minutes away with a town full of shops and restaurants. This home has a maximum occupancy of eight and this rule is enforced, please do not email inquiries with an occupancy more than 8. Smart TV's are provided in the bedrooms and living rooms, internet is provided. Cable TV is no longer provided. You will need your own streaming account.

The property was very comfortable for six of us with very functional plan to accommodate privacy as well as gathering space. Great view from porches, easy access to beach and relaxing outdoor pool. Group agreed it was one of the best beach experiences ever!

The Island Princess is a comfortable and well equipped house with a great beach. The heated pool was a big hit with our grandchildren who spent as much time there as on the beach. I spent much of my time on the large covered deck where I could enjoy the gulf without worrying about sunburn. When we did have an issue, the owner/manager was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely rent this house next year.

This is our 2nd time staying at Derryl and Nancy’s place, and we had another great vacation full of memories. The house was well kept and at a great location - highly recommended place to stay when visiting St. George Island!

Amazing Vacation

This was our first time staying at a house directly on the beach and it was amazing. The porch is a great place to lounge with a terrific view. We were even lucky enough to see the dolphins. The interior layout with the living room and kitchen in the middle allows for quiet/privacy in all of the bedrooms. The pool is a must have for the beach, you just have to watch for crabs (the kids enjoyed fishing them out of the pool). This is our second time visiting St. George Island and it did not disappoint. We will visit again and hope that the same house is available.

What a great week staying at The Island Princess. It is a beautiful gulf coast property with a side pool. The property is in good shape and well maintained. We dealt with Nancy (the property manager) and met the owner all very cordial and courteous.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you might need. My only recommendations would be to have a full-length mirror somewhere in the house and a water hose provided for guests to wash off cars and golf carts. It rained and we had horrible wind most of our time there. You can’t fix the weather, but a water hose would have been nice to wash the sandy mud off vehicles. The pool was terrific!

Very clean house with comfortable beds and very functional kitchen. Things that are overlooked in many reviews are those which make this rental more enjoyable such as a very efficient HVAC system, a new refrigerator, hot water on demand, good washer and dryer, pool water temperature very warm and comfortable, quiet neighborhood, great fine sand beach and clear gulf water. Great for older kids and adults. Large great room fosters togetherness among guests. We met the owners and they are great folks. We would like to stay there again. One small item: need to bring your own beach chairs as the present ones are secumming to salt water corrosion in the metal frames. However, there are lots of pool toys for the kids.

Island Princess is in a great location and had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The house would comfortably sleep 8, though we were a smaller group. Since it was February, we didn't try the pool, but it looked lovely. The highlight of our stay was seeing dolphins from the front porch.

This property was fantastic. The view was unbeatable and the home itself was very comfortable! The layout of the home was nice and had a very spacious kitchen and living area. The deck had plenty of seating as well. Would highly recommend!

We were there four nights. Red tide was there, so we had to stay inside too much. Beach dirty from seaweed. Porch was wonderful as we could see beach when we could breathe outside. Ice maker in frig broken and owner came over to fix, but couldn’t. Nice man. Queen mattress in street side east bedroom needs replacing. Great layout for 4 couples. Would stay there again.

This home was everything advertised. This was the first time our family (and new grandchild) had been able to get together in one place. The home was immaculate with a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Would definitely rent again.

We were there with family who were staying all over the island. We were trying to have a celebration of life on July 4 with a dinner to remember my brother in law, my husband’s brother. He had passed away exactly 10 weeks prior. I’m sorry we exceeded the people limit, I thought that meant actually staying in the house not coming for dinner. Otherwise the week was fun and healing for all of us.
